The Queen Wicked Deeds

Chapter 50 - My daughter

One day, the mighty Knight Callum arrived at the doors of Prime Minister Prim.

The last snowstorm had already passed but the days were as cold as the first day of winter. No one would withstand such coldness for more than an hour, it could freeze the limbs in a matter of seconds and kill any unprepared soul in even less.

There was no food, no warmth, only the wolves in the forest starving and willing to kill anything for a bit of food.

Callum was the only brave to do go through the journey inside the cold forest. He had grown in the north, in the worst conditions and in a constant battle for his life. Not only once he had fought with countless wolves, not only once he had to stay without any food, and not only once he felt as if his life was going to end because of the cold.

However, this time he had a mission, and to get it to succeed he has to cross the frozen forest beside the territory of the Academy. To withstand the snowstorm and to live within the wolves that now recognized him as one of their own.

He could even have the power to instruct them now. He was the Alpha.

Then when he came to the town nearby Lith, the doors were opened to him. The people looked at him with narrowed eyes at first because the long furred coat was covering his face. Only when he took down the hood the people returned to their usual activities.

"Sir Callum, would you like some hot chocolate?" A beautiful blonde young woman offered him a cup with the hot liquid right away.

"Sir Callum, would you like some warm bread?" Another beautiful young lady with dark hair approached with a tray of fresh bread. It looked delicious.

Callum nodded and many more girls surrounded him. He didn't think too much about them but took the chocolate to warm his body and then took the bread to regain strength.

"Sir Callum," a lady in a carriage stopped in front of him, "would you like to let me give you a ride?"

Callum nodded as he was indeed tired and wanted to rest his legs for a while. The woman was beaming with happiness though. But not only that, the others girls in their carriages were sighing in sadness and jealousy.

When Callum came down the carriage he had already passed through a strange situation with the woman. She had sat beside him telling him that she was cold and she even tried to hug his arm.

Then he didn't have a choice but to leave her the fur coat as a thankful gift. He didn't need it anyway.

"Sir Callum," the guard in the front door of the Prime Minister Mansion bowed and trembled for a second under that red gaze. "Would you want me to announce you?"

"Mm," Callum didn't need to be announced anywhere but he decided that for this time it was the best move to succeed in his attempt.

The guard moved forward a few not so few steps and Callum followed him.

"Sir Callum!" the guard announced his arrival at the front of Minister Prim's main study.

The guard on the front door was a man with white-silver hair and shiny yellow eyes. He was wearing a white uniform with the symbol of the house of Prim but his aura was different from any other.

"Aiden," the red-eyed man nodded at the man in front of him and the yellow-eyed man nodded in return. They didn't exchange a smile or any other complicity expression but their simple nod was enough to say that they were brothers of the North.

"Let him in," the voice of Prime Minister Prime sounded calm and unhurried but deep inside he knew that the visit of Callum on such short notice was not something good.

He began to think in the card he received some time ago from that shameless bastard of the north. 'Maybe it has something to do with that,' he thought.

"Minister," Callum greeted the man that was once his master. The indifferent man that was crazy about winning chess games against the strange man Duke of Mills.

The Prime Minister turned around to see the man he secretly admired but at the same time had a big grudge with. The day he decided to change sides to be the little Princess Anne watchdog came unexpectedly. He only received the news on short notice with a simple word. "I resign." Then he went away.

However, the same shameless man was now bowing his head and joining his fists as if pleading to a Master.

"What is the meaning of this, Callum?"

Minister Prim didn't know how to react to such behavior. He had never seen Callum bow to anyone but that cheeky princess.

"Minister Prim, I came to apologize and to request something from you."

"What are you talking about? Why should you apologize?"

"My daughter…"

"What?!"

Prime Minister now knew that something bad had happened. Moira must have done something awful.

"She challenged young Master James to a fight," Callum couldn't look up not even once. He was a bit concerned about how the Minister would react. "And she won."

Prime Minister Prim didn't react badly, it was evident that his son would never win against that little girl. Not when she was the direct descendant of this man. That bloodthirsty aura on her veins was too much for anyone to withstand.

"It is okay, Callum, there is no need to apologize."

However, the knight didn't stand up but from his pocket, he gave the Minister an envelope.

The hands of the Minister were a bit trembling from the contents. But he decided to open it without waiting anymore.

However, the moment he saw the picture inside it, he almost fainted.
