The Queen Wicked Deeds

Chapter 54 - Innocent Maiden v.2

"Shall we go?"

"No," the Principal had heard some amusing news. Well, he didn't hear them, bthey were going all around the Academy's forum.

Headings like, 'Missing Royal Guests, will we ever see them again?' or 'New rising power, Anne takes down the Lith Royals,' or 'Henry has a purple bruise in his neck, did anyone notice?' or 'Fire on the Kitchen, don't go any near, Moria had pushed down James again.'

He was about to click on Henry's news as he wanted to see if it was real or not when he received a message.

Husband_before_King: We are kidnapped.

DaisyFlower_lover: I know.

Husband_before_King: Are you going to save us?

DaisyFlower_lover: Do you want me to save you?

Husband_before_King: Only one of us.

DaisyFlower_lover: Who?

Husband_before_King: You know who.

DaisyFlower_lover: Did the idiot Druon sneaked inside the bubble?

Husband_before_King: Yes… take him out.

DaisyFlower_lover: …

The TFQ club had kidnapped the guests. Not only the ones that had taken the first cars of the tour but the next ones and the next ones too. Then the bunch of masked criminals led the hostages to a big hall and made them wait for a while. An evil wait, as Anne liked to say it.

However, the photos and pictures from inside the big hall were of beautifully dressed people sharing smiles and handshakes while sipping some wine and eating some desserts. They didn't seem like the scared kind of people, not at all, but they seemed to be enjoying a magnificent evening within friends.

Principal Adam looked again at the pictures and felt a bit of jealousy, he wanted to go there too. There was no need as the one who should be concerned was the man managing the club.

"Let Assistant Vincent solve it."

"That…" the secretary in the front looked a bit pale and was biting her lips when she passed a note to the calm man reading the news and typing on the golden 'MINI' he managed to cheat Assistant Vin for free.

"What is this?"

"A no… note. It is from Assistant Vincent, he left it in your room, and someone gave it to us just recently."

Secretary Monique was not an ordinary secretary, but she was the head secretary of the Academy. She was also a graduate of the Economics and Management faculty and was at the top of her whole grade when she was a student. However, many years later she was discovered committing fraud, and the one who found her was the man in front of her.

If she had managed to escape, then she would be now one of the wealthiest women in the world. The riches she would possess would help her buy a small country, and then she would evrn become a Queen. However, this man had to ruin it all and threaten her to give her to the Academy's guards.

"Everything, but that…, please," she begged tand even kneeled in defeat. It was well known that no one could be fine after those crazy guards laid their hands on a prisoner. There were awful rumors about people going crazy and disappearing after they met those men.

"Okay," the man stood slowly and walked around the desk. "Then you will work for me as my Secretary every day of your life."

From then on the shameless man had left most of the harsh work to her. The budgets, the managing, even the meetings with the leaders of the faculties, and the awful and disastrous wizards, especially Wizard Druon. However, she couldn't deny that this man had a talent… a very useful talent that managed to control everyone. If she had trouble with those old teachers from the Economics department or a dispute arose within the Magic faculty students. He was the one who can solve it all easily, there was never a task he couldn't solve, well, except for this year. There is certainly a fluffy red-haired Princess that is giving him trouble.

"What is your answer?"

He said that time while raising a brow. She didn't have a choice, after all.

However, even if the man had that skill, even if he could find the flaws in the people and watch them like a crystal ball. Even with all that knowledge and wisdom hidden in his mind, he never caught her true intentions.

He thought, he had caught her, but it was the contrary.

She had laid the trap for many years, the little bread crumbles for him to follow them directly to her. They were easy to see, everyone could notice them. However, he was also the biggest idiot in the whole grade.

They had shared all those years in the Academy together, and he never guessed her intentions right. That smart mind and amazing talent didn't seem useful when it was obvious what she was hinting at, almost every single day. That was the reason why he was known as the 'Innocent Maiden.'

When he was kicked out of the Artistic Faculty, she was there to give him support and punish the idiot Druon for ruining the flower painting. Though, it was truly bad. She will keep that secret only after he gets her truly mad.

When he joined the Academy to be the new Principal, she just needed a way to make him notice her once and for all, it had to be something big, something wicked, just to make him see her for the first time and never forget her. So she created a big fraud, and amazing scheme, she must say. However, she knew that he was the only one who would discover it, no one was as talented as him.

Then when the question arrived, she said, "I don't have any other choice, right?"

She was almost screaming in delight at the thought of being with him every single day of her life. He will not have any other option but to depend on her and when the time was right, then a mutual love will grow naturally between them.

However, as always, something unexpected happened. The man, that was her crush for so many years, that looked as handsome as the sunshine, rose from his seat and moved to the front of her. Then he kneeled down and look up at her eyes.

"There is another option, Monique," she blushed, it was the first time he had called her name, "you can be Druon's Assistant."

"…" she thought that something fabulous was about to happen, but it seemed that this man didn't even want to give her a chance. Her heart broke that very moment and her eyes started to tear up, but she didn't say anything. "I will do it, be that idiot's ȧssistant."

If he wanted for her to leave, then she will leave. That idiot Druon was as easy to manage as any other child.

She rose from her seat and was about to leave when he took her hand again. "Wait!"

Her heart was now pumping hard, he had never touched her before. Not once. She felt a strange emotion grow into her heart, but she reminded her to not have her hopes high, not when this man was the Innocent Maiden, even at this age.

"What else do you want?" she asked after a long silence.

"There is another thing," his voice sounded serious, and she had to turn her head around to see his face.

"What else?"

He smiled and pulled to his arms. "You will have to be my wife."

Then he laughed at her dumbfounded face.

"Idiot, did you think I wouldn't notice after all these years?"

"…" does she really have to answer that silly question?

****

Letter of Assistant Vin to the Principal of the Academy, Adam Robinson.

[Principal Robinson,

I hope this letter had arrived at the best of times, I know Miss Monique Robinson will hand it to you. She is like a ray of sunshine and a blooming flower in the park at the same time. I don't know how did you manage to get her, what a waste…]

Monique started shaking… she knew her dear husband wouldn't like the letter. She didn't know but she was also known as the 'Innocent Maiden v.2' by her schoolmates of the Academy.

The many times, Vincent Kyle, now known as Assistant Vin, had tried to propose to her, can count to the hundreds.

However, it seemed that someone was shattering every single try. Though, she never knew who.

'This man is as shameless as those times,' Adam thought, he was the one who prevented any love letter, flower arrangement, chocolate box, or any other type of romantic contact to reach Monique. Even if he had to be called the 'Innocent Maiden.'
