[Monique Lumiere.

Daughter of Grand Medic Wizard Charles Lumiere, one of the three Grand Medics Wizards of the world, with extraordinary connections to the royalty of the Kingdom of Forth. He is the only one with the title of Official Medic of the Crown and a respectable member of the Ministry of Health.​​

The great Charles Lumiere was someone with a proud lineage of Medic Wizards in his family, from several generations ago, there was not once a daughter or a son without the gene for medicine and magic in his family.

The thousands of letters requesting his services were always a way to parade his pride and elevate the honor of the family. They had even won several contests in the Medical Faculty, and they were the first ones to be offered a place in the Medic Council of the Wizardly Union. Everything was going well to the Great Charles Lumietr but suddenly, something happened to Monique, the youngest daughter of the family.

She didn't inherit an inch of that marvelous magic gene from the family, even her talent to learn medicine was the lowest of them all. She wasn't qualified to enter the Academy and even the people from the National Academy of Forth were troubled into accepting her.

Thus, she was mistreated her whole life. She was given the basic necessities to live in the Mansion of the Lumiere family, but she was to never step outside to not bring dishonor to the family's name.

It was said that even her mother detested her and her brothers and sisters mocked her and bullied her constantly. Then… one day everything changed.

From the servants' sayings, she fell from the stairs, and she hit her head severely. However, even if the family was full of renowned doctors and great magicians, no one came to her promptly. It was evident they wanted her dead, or so the servants said in the interrogation.

After several days of high fever and that she never came to her senses. They thought she will die.

The servant that always mistreated her suddenly started to have strange accidents, or they would be caught doing bad things, like stealing or having improper behaviors. Some of them were killed, some others were sent to prison. From then on, the rumor that the lady Monique was taking her revenge went on the Mansion.

After several weeks, the rumor came to the ears of the brothers and sisters of Monique. They hadn't disturbed her as she was already ill and weak. Even her own mother didn't mind her at all.

However, they wanted to test the strange rumor. So they schemed together to push the little girl into the pond…]

"This is outrageous!" Anne exclaimed without finishing reading the report. "How can they dare to do that to someone sick? How dare they copy me?"

"…" Moria also thought about it, but they must have heard the legends of her Master or how they could have the same idea.

[They pushed her but somehow, they couldn't. The hands of the sister that was supposed to push her passed through her body and she ended up entering the water instead of Monique.

Nobody saw how that happened, but they thought it was a mistake. After all, how a good for nothing, without an inch of magic, could fool a Magician of the third grade?

After that, one by one, the brothers of Monique tried to prove the rumors about her being a vengeful demon. And one by one failed every time.

Then as the days passed, their tricks became more adventurous and vile. They tried to poison their sister with a low-level venom from a plant that only grows in the Lumiere gardens, but it will provoke extreme pain to whoever drank it.

They mixed the poison with her food and paid a maid to give it to her. The poor maid couldn't help but bring the food to the room on the farthest and dirtiest tower of the land of Lumiere and give the food to the little girl.

The next days, no one knew anything about the girl but the brothers and sisters watched carefully even opening forcefully the door.]

"What a bunch of scumbags…" Anne said while sipping her tea and sharing her cookies with the red-haired girl in the next seat.

[They didn't find anyone in there, not a single soul was inside that room even though, they had watched carefully the tower. No one would be able to escape the tower without being found out.

They tried to look for the little girl everywhere, but after many days no one was able to even find a clue about her whereabouts. However, one by one of the siblings encountered strange situations the next days.

One of them was found trapped in a house full of spiders and snakes, traumatizing him for life. To the point that he was frightened to be left inside his own room. He wasn't admitted to the Academy after he came out screaming from the Royal palace that the snakes were following him.

The next sibling was admitted to the Academy with the highest honors. He was the second son and was now considered the heir, however, something happened to him in the Academy. A strange ghost was looking for him every night.

The other students also saw it and the words it said, 'You killed me!'

From then on, no one of the students approached the young man, and he became a loner and bullied by the other students.

Then what happened to the other sister, is too terrible to mention, but she was expulsed from the Academy. Though it was not because of any ghost or any strange dream but because her bad behavior was exposed to the whole Academy, even to Principal Adam Robinson that was so enraged that he expelled her immediately. She founded a club to bully the poorest girls of the Kingdom of Forth. The fraud that she committed to making them do her homework and takes was so devil that even the poor families of those girls were involved in the extortion.]

"Then…" Anne drank her tea and ate another cookie. This time it was an extremely big chocolate cookie. The size of her two hands. It was delicious.

'Do you like it?' Moira asked with her eyes. From some time ago James had taught her to make cookies. Even if her dream was to bake the perfect cake, he insisted on her starting with something easier.

"They are delicious…" Anne looked at the cookie and couldn't help but drool, even Gandalf was drooling and looking at the three immense cookies on the plate.

Moira looked at them with a little tear in the eye, or so they thought. It was the first time the Princess had complimented her with her eyes, her mouth, and her smile.

"Thank you, Master."

"Good," Anne started munching the cookie and left the report on the side. She didn't need to know what had happened next to the little girl of six years old, as she was certain of her story.

The little girl accomplished her vengeance, however, in truth, she had never been Monique Lumiere. The shameless family of the wizard Lumiere had taken her from her true family, and they conducted evil experiments on her body because of her special constitution. To cover their awful behavior, they passed her as their daughter without magic and dishonorable future.

However, something was real, the little girl changed one day and became different. Her mind became clearer and smarter. After all, she had seen another world.

She did drink the poison those evil siblings gave her, and she lost her voice. She became mute. Her lovely voice that had never been heard with any kind of gentleness, became silent.

After some time wandering in the streets of Forth and arriving at Lith with many other little children, one day, she was almost killed by the horse of the carriage of one Princess. The one that had captured in a tower and made her prisoner, not just in body but in soul.

"Then… Moira, what are you going to do?"

'…' Moira inclined her head in thought.

"Are going to compete with me?"

Moira nodded but then shook her head. 'I don't want any prize,' she signaled, 'but I want to do the missions.'

"Great!"

Anne laughed and took another bite of the big cookie.

"Then… what about the others contestants?"
