The Queen Wicked Deeds

Chapter 86 - Oblivion

[Tamara Russell,

An exchange student from the Magic Arts Academy of Helle, a country with a high understanding of nature magic.

The people living in that country were said to be born with a special gift. The Goddess of Nature gave it to them as a show of gratitude to the founder and leader of the first community of Helle.

She was thankful that they gave her refuge when she needed them most, and they even gave her food and a good life inside the town while she recovered her strength before she goes back to whatever place wanted to return.

The gift she gave them was the ability to use magic on the forces of nature, not everything and not overpower but enough for them to keep their enemies at bay.

However, there was a legend, that a girl with the essence of the goddess will appear. Some say she was the descendant of the goddess as some believed she had children with a man in this land.

However, it was a mere story and no one really believed it.]

"I do believe it," Anne said to Moira that was now playing with two little puppy white wolves and a shadow. They were following her every movement and trying to capture her.

Moira was so entertained that she didn't notice the gaze of her Princess. She had been occupied on training her new underlings that even her time with James had shortened.

"Moira?"

Anne called again to the girl jumping and running and the little puppies trying to catch up.

"She is ignoring me," Anne said to the Wizard Druon on the side. He was looking down to his feet and with a strange bottle filled with something not allowed inside the school.

"Yes… sigh… she is… like the rest of the women out there in the world… they ignore and they never send letters nor a signal of life."

He drank again from the bottle and his head punched the table with a hard sound.

"They are cruel… those females are cruel and vicious… they don't about anyone nor anything… they only use you for some fun, and then they toss you into nothingness. Oblivion… pure evil oblivion."

Anne only rolled her eyes at the drunkard at her table, however, she was having her fun recording his banter for posteriority.

"What happened?"

"…" the man didn't answer but flickered his fingers and a letter entered Anne's sight.

"What is that?"

"A request…"

"Of what?"

"Of me retiring from the Academy… I can't do this anymore. Those students are blaming me for giving them harsh lessons."

"What did you do to them?"

Anne kept recording and smiling while putting some filters on the image of the wizard. However, that was not it, it was a live show.

"Nothing much… hic…"

"Tell me."

"I showed the transformation magic… I just wanted to let them experience what does it feel like to be a squirrel and be in danger everywhere…"

"Then…"

"I transformed them into buŧŧerflies and made them feel how it is to fly… with danger everywhere… hic…"

"Then…"

"Into lions and tigers… to let them experience what is to be the danger themselves and then scare some engineering students… ha… ha… ahahahahah!"

"Idiot…" Anne murmured and stopped the recording when the students had already sent a request to burn the wizard. "What about the Helle Kingdom?"

"What… what about it?"

"Tamara Russell…"

He flinched hearing that name and tried to pass it as if he was getting asleep. He even started to snore but Gandalf who was on the side moved to his face and licked it.

"Marianne… you are so sneaky…"

"…"

[After many years, the Kingdom of Helle became prosperous and grand. They relied greatly upon the power of the gift to defend their barriers and manage their daily life, however, as time passed, the blood with the gift started to weaken.

Now, only a few bunches of people had the gift in their blood, and those are considered geniuses and called sons and daughters of the Goddess.

They were taken forcefully from their families to the palace to then be the underlings of the Royal Family, not minding the social status, the money, or the origin. Though, the wealthy families of the nobles considered it an honor that their children were sent to the Royal Palace.

From the girls, a woman would be chosen with the highest power among them to be the next crown princess. Even if that girl didn't want to.

The most important thing was to preserve the blood with the gift in the royal palace line.]

"What about Tamara?"

Anne left the report again on the table with the many snacks that were brought by Tia and Vincent in his new butler attire.

They were looking at the wizard with his head on the table, a Gandalf ŀɨċkɨnġ his face, two wolves in his back trying to reach the black cat shadow that was sitting in the head of the man.

"Can I have another beer, please?"

"No," Anne shook her head and patted Gandalf to make the final attack.

"Woff!"

The loud bark in the ear of the wizard almost made him fall from the table if not for the caring Vincent that stopped him.

"What about Tamara?"

The voice of Anne that a few seconds was of the most amazing laziness and gentleness, now was having a change. Druon knew what that meant, the princess was not joking, and now she wanted answers.

"Eliot!"

Anne called and Eliot made a bubble of magic appear around the wizard not letting him go or disappear, or do any kind of magic.

"What a good trick, little boy… but it won't help against my powers… the mighty powers of the awesome Wizard Daniel Druon!"

"What?"

He looked at the princess and then to the bottle of the not-allowed drink.

"You drugged me!"

He pointed at Gandalf.

"…"

Gandalf's saliva came pouring from his happy face. He didn't drug the idiot wizard, but now he was dying to do so.

"What about Tamara?"

Anne said and she stood from her place. The surrounding aura was getting complicated. The ones around her took a step back, even the little puppy wolves stepped behind Moira with frightened cries.

Gandalf was worried and even Shadow that had always been calm was now in between Gandalf's fluffy legs.

"Answer me, Wizard," her voice was growing somber with every second, and her golden eyes shined with a dangerous glint.

Then something unexpected came to the sky view. Many golden lightnings.

"Prin… Princess…" Wizard Druon now was trembling in his cage with a head full of sweat and his legs shaking without stopping.

"Will you tell me or not?"

"Yes!"

The Wizard didn't have a choice.

"Where is she? Who is she?"

Anne looked at the report and could see very clearly the mark of someone altering it. Something there was not right, it was fake. Moira, the one preparing the report, didn't even remember doing it.

So, the only possibility is for a powerful magician with access to the reports was the one who managed the trait.

Druon sighed without any chance to fool the little Princess more. However, he really couldn't talk right there with all of that audience.

It was not safe, for him, for the Princess, and for Tamara.

He stood up without any trace of fear or the shaking of his legs. He even looked taller, and the face covered in cold sweat vanished as if he was another person entirely.

Then as if it was his magic trick from the beginning. He expanded the bubble to cover the Princess's body.

"Princess!" Tia and Eliot shouted with fear and care.

'Princess!"

Moria was preparing her sword, the one Callum had gifted her on her last birthday. One powerful enough to end any magic.

However, the princess lifted a hand, and they all stopped.

"What is it?"

"You want to know about Tamara, but it is not safe to tell anyone about her…"

"Why?"

"Because those from that Kingdom are looking for her, they want to use her and to marry her to some pervert from that Royal family."

"Why?"

"She is the daughter of the Goddess, though, she was no goddess in the first place, only a person who came from another world."

He looked at Anne with a raised brow.

"How do you know?"

"Because Tamara is my daughter."

Anne could guess that.

"Who?"

Druon turned to one side and with a signal of his eyes, he looked at Tia.

"Elisa… sigh… Elisa is a good friend… she managed to hide her."
