The Queen Wicked Deeds
Chapter 94 - Zombies
[Marianne decided to marry that man, Hugo. She didn't know that he was the one she was waiting for so long. The day she went to the cave, how can she not know that it will be a high tide?
However, something told her that she needed to be there for him to find her. It was their fate to be together.
The tide was growing more and more and she was starting to feel foolish. What if it was all a dream? What if it was all an illusion?
The man she kept seeing every night in her dream was so different from the ones on the island. His skin, his eyes, even the strange clothes he was wearing. They seemed from another era or world. As if it were from an ancient time and not the contemporary century where they don't need horses to travel the land. There are trucks and cars.
The man was even using some kind of candle to illuminate his house, though, that thing was magical. It was a powerful candle that didn't extinguish so fast.
Marianne thought she was going crazy but at the same time, her dull and simple life on the island was taking her spirit away.
So the trip to the cave served two purposes, the start of a new life with the man that will come to rescue her, or the end of her current life. Either way, she will go away and never come back.]
"Teacher Lena," Anne said with red eyes from insomnia. "I want to sleep but the smell disturbs me every day," her fingers were restless, her eyes were looking around everywhere and her mouth was dried.
She wanted so much to get in touch with the two dėsɨrės of her life. She never thought that arriving in this world would make her so addicted to those two. The fruit tart, delicious fruit tart and… her dear Henry.
"Take this," Teacher Lena gave her a bottle with a small potion, "it will help you to sleep for a while, you are doing well, Princess Anne, you can do this."
Anne smiled but again, she was walking as she were a mere ghost around the hallways of the Academy. Her deranged self was scaring the fan club that always followed her.
[This is not good, our idol is fading.]
[I heard she is under intervention. She went to Miss Lena's chat group.]
[What?! That group, the one with the people that had become…]
[Oh no, I think I need some intervention too.]
[Don't be dummy, the group is exclusive, not everyone can enter.]
[Why not?]
[Miss Lena has to invite you personally]
[What do I do to get invited?]
[Eat… fruit tarts?]

That day the Academy's cafeteria was facing a difficult time. Several students were asking for a piece of fruit tart and there wasn't enough to cover the demand. So, the pieces of tart were to be divided into two and the chefs had to make more or the crazy students would start a revolt.
"10, 9, …. 3, 2, 1, RUN!"
The movement of the wooden seats and the shouts to make way started right then. The horde of zombies… *cough* students asking for a piece of fruit tart will start right then.
"Why are you even in the line, you are allergic to the cherries!"
"What?! Don't discriminate against me, I have also the right to eat fruit tarts even if I die trying!"
"You are crazy, don't get into the line!"
"Get out!"
The students were in a state of turmoil, no one was able to stop them, not even the teachers that were also battling within their own queue. However, the intensity of their fights was on a different level.
"Get out here, you morons!"
Wizard Druon was sending enchantments from one direction to another. However, he was not the only one in that crazy state, the other wizards and even the captains of the knights' faculty were entering the fighting stage. The engineering path was also involved with their many devices to capture teachers trying to get into the line.
"You aren't anyone to get into the line!"
"I am Adam Robinson, the Principal, I can get into the line whenever I want!"
"Get him!"
"To him!"
The Academy was submerged into a battlefield. The many factions and the many zombies were disturbing the peace of the school. Now, there was no second period to the classes, some of the teachers had become rebels and were sought for trying to imprison the school principal. Some others had become leaders of their squads.
The students were also taking factions and soon the school was transformed into an enormous war zone. The treasure, though, were the fruit tarts. Delicious fruit tarts from chef Hugo.
"This can't go on," Teacher Lena didn't know that her innocent and useful advice towards a Princess would create such havoc in the school. "We must stop this, my dear."
"What can I do?" Chef Hugo was hiding inside the fortress of the cafeteria. He had Eliot and Vincent create a powerful barrier around to protect the fridge. Those fruit tarts were something he wanted to give humanity to make them happy not to create a war. "They are going crazy," he said as he was cleaning the sweat on his forehead.
"There is… there is only one who can help them…"
"No, we can't do that," the middle-aged man said with a worried voice. "She had left that life… we cannot make her go back to those days."
If he were able to resist those cute golden eyes and the sweet voice of a little girl, he may have not created such a weapon of disaster.
"We can't undo what it is done, my dear," Teacher Lena took Chef Hugo's hand, "but at this moment, the school needs her with desperation."
Chef Hugo looked at the crazy horde of students trying to break the barrier with the use of their forks. Some of them were even crying on the floor begging for one fruit tart.
"We don't have another choice."
Chef Hugo sent a message through his MINI and sighed. This time they really didn't have a choice.
Meanwhile in a tower far away from the disturbance of the people. They called that place the Founding Tower or the Founding Library.
No one was brave enough to take a step inside that place, not even for a little while. However, there was one girl almost fifteen that was now enjoying the breeze at the top of the tower. The beautiful red hair was dancing in the air as she breathed with her new founded peace the freshness of the forest.
"I feel peace," she said to the three persons behind her. "Finally, I find peace."
They were happy for her and they clapped together after hearing her voice.
"I am happy for you, my princess," Tia was shedding a tear towards the new person in front of her. Now, she will have recovered from her withdrawal symptoms and her complexion was better. Her health was better and she was even losing weight without cheating.
Moira was also watching the scene and clapped, though, she didn't understand the reason too well. The hellish training Callum had made the Princess go through was making her lose weight, so… who cares if she ate the whole fridge of fruit tarts for the rest of her life.
However, if her master was fine, then everything was fine. Right?
The other one that was behind the Princess with an indifferent face and 'I don't believe you face' was Gandalf. He had known his owner for two full lives and there was something that was infallible in that girl's life, her gluttony.
He knew for sure she will fall again.
Then a ringtone echoed in the forest. It was the ringtone of the only person in this world, except the Queen, that has access to an unconditional response from the Princess.
"Chef Hugo?"
"My Princess," the voice of the chef was that of exhaustion and fear, however, there was also a combination of guilt and remorse. It was a complex feeling. Even more, when the horde of zombies… *cough* students were about to go through the barrier. "I need your help."
Anne narrowed her eyes and looked at the three behind her. "What is going on?"
"Zombie…"
He couldn't finish when a sudden boom interrupted the communication.
However, something told her that she needed to be there for him to find her. It was their fate to be together.
