The Queen's Cosmetician

Preface Midday Run

The Mysterious Forest was full of activated magic aftermath.

A whitewash of breath leaked by trance drifts in a whimsical manner on the path of the forest. The cracked wooden skin of the turbulent trees is covered in water vapor clothing and only brings up shadows anointed with light ink.

Phosphorescence dancing through the universe, dazzled by airflow, illuminating grains of water vapor.

The wind pressure on his legs, which Fabian stepped out of frustration, kicked the crowd of grains of that light in all directions at once.

"So, how long have you been here?

Claire, a deputy following diagonally rearward, responds with a voice that lacks discouragement.

"I stopped seeing the division chief, so I asked him on the playing, and if you can't even see His Majesty himself, Badista will"

"Does that mean we're both gone... My head hurts."

Fabian sighed heavily and hurried his feet to the destination.

Queen of Doppelgum and head of the Sorcery Division. It was during the conference that Doppelgham lead foreign affairs official Fabian Barnier received reports that the two were no longer visible and even that the ruins of the forest were used, during the New Year's weariness eroded. Called to come to the woods not long after surprise, Fabian was walking with Claire through the woods behind the depressed castle, even after noon, relying on strings given to the trees.

The small country of Doppelgum, worthy of the two names of "Cui of the Abyss", is in the midst of a deep forest. Though everyone loves the broad-leaved forest, which promises abundant fruit, there is no one who enters the depths of Me with a cloud that shows the dead to the uninvited without fear.

The exception is no other, the Queen.

Fabian, out in the open space of a true circle, stopped with Claire. From Fabian's point of view, on the opposite bank of the square, two giant old trees are crossed and overthrown. The diameter of the trunks of ancient trees was equal to the height from the roots to the top of the trees surrounding the square, and the majesty that was there pushing away the dense ones that lingered made them awe of what they saw.

Fabian unconsciously rubbed the poppy arm of his skin and moved his gaze downward. There was an appearance of the intended person in a location perpendicular to the crossing of the ancient trees.

"Old Master"

Fabian's voice sounded unexpectedly good. Ten himself, who summoned Fabian, showed his teeth and laughed at his heels as he put his neck behind him, aligned with a few of them.

"Furby, you're late."

He is about sixty men in his years, with his head covered in gray hair. The magnificent stature you can even see from above a green based coat is so much seen as a samurai. But in fact, he is a muscled literary man who says he has never had anything heavier than a book.

Chancellor Guzavier.

Called an old master and admired, he was the helpful actor who made Doppelgum, once only a part of Maisenburg, statehood.

"I was in a meeting."

Fabian pleaded as he walked under him early enough.

"I heard your majesty and division chief are gone?

"Look, as you can see"

Guzavier visualizes the lined Fabian with his jaw. There was a stone room with two crossing old trees as roofs.

It is a stone chamber constructed of obsidian cut out rocks. Inside it was stretched a thin plate of crystals, with granite slabs on the corners of all sides. And in the middle of the floor, a triple positive circle drawn by an elaborate geometric line.

The Fabians call it the Ruins.

It is one of the remains left behind by our forefathers at the height of witchcraft. Today it is the gateway to perform the lost and terrible sorcery, Space Transfer. The interior, which should be full of humid cold air if it were normal, was now so magical that even Fabians who did not deal with magic could perceive it, shifting like an excess heat.

"Do you know where he is?

"They've taken the only magician I can track right away...... But, well, the number of exits is limited. It won't take long to analyze where we're going."

"Okay.... So, what brings you to me?

"Root it. Face around the exit, so that when something happens, you can pick up Your Majesty."

"When something happened? If I find His Majesty, not?

"If you even contact me regularly, you can let me play for a while unless it's a problem"

"In a tolerant way"

"Sometimes I have to let him breathe like this. I have trouble getting blown up when I'm busy."

I see, and Fabian pulled his jaw convincingly.

Originally, Fabian masters are not in the nature of being able to face an oak desk where the sun is shining. Well, horses, listeners, exploding balls - it is now time to patiently fit on the throne like a king of a nation, but once, when doing her evaluation, it was something lined up with adjectives that were unbridled from adultery. She, who had just stood as queen, sounded Guzavier's harsh education and frequently escaped the castle. But that also equals nothing now that we are going to be rulers and plug into the ninth year.

It was equal, should I say?

"It's also been a long time since you suddenly disappeared like this.... I wish you would say that if you want to go outside"

"You didn't want to be escorted."

Guzavier expressed his views.

"I thought it was time for Noon. I heard from Dadan, and he was pretty nagging."

It was during last year's harvest that an old friend who was reunited in Perfilia showed up keeping his promise to Fabian.

Dadan stayed about half a month and toured Doppelgum while telling the Queen what was going on in other countries. The political transition in other continents, the standing position of the western continent, the figure of the people living in the countries through which Dadan passed - ….

"I rather put up with it till today. I've handled my work to the point where it's well separated, and I don't have a problem with it - don't be free."

Doppelgum is very cold this season, which lacks sunshine time. Everyone spends a lot of time in front of the fireplace. The royal castle is now idle after completing the events that accompany the new year and its processing, and the other month no longer has a major project.

In other words, the Queen's disappearance was not an idea today, it was planned for the time of year.

Maybe, and Fabian was alone.

"You haven't even been to Del Ligueiria...?

Small country Del Ligueiria. A small country of prostitutes and technicians that borders the northwestern coast of the continent. Now it is a country with little interaction, but it is a marginal place for us. The country that appeared a lot in Dadan's story was also Del Ligueiria.

"That's pretty good. If the rumored queen comes here, she'll see you, but I can't imitate what His Majesty would do to herself."

Unexpectedly, Fabian turned to the next prime minister.

"Why not? His Majesty seemed to care about the story of that country even when I played the case in Perfilia.... I thought I was going to love that queen so much."

The queen of Delligeria and the master of Fabian seemed very similar in their fundamental temperament. I had the impression that if I met him, I would play a story.

"I don't know what His Majesty said... but he burned his confrontation."

"Confrontational?

"Dadan would care strangely, wouldn't he? I think it's unconscious. Your Majesty doesn't like that. It's like a child's jealousy."

Like I get it, like I don't get it.

"Huh."

Replying raw, Fabian turned to the ruins. The stone room was finally recovering its normal silence.

Fabian can remember the day he found the remains of this ancestor like he did yesterday.

The memories that accompany it - the days that lifted up the land that was forgiven raw, to produce the country.

I guess Dadan's story scratched them from the bottom of his consciousness and inspired the Queen's adventure.

You must have wanted to breathe a different air than usual, even though you knew this calm day was a noble one.

"I hope nothing goes wrong with you. I want you to be thorough with the mountain."

Fabian is true to Guzavier whining as he strokes the tip of his jaw covered by a barren beard like salt grain, I agreed.

"I hope nothing..."
