The Queen's Cosmetician
Chapter Four: The Concealing Mage 7
Painful.
Seriously painful. If you look at Heath on the side, he looks agonized again, too.
"It's a boy, but it's a snack."
The woman said, accompanied by a white fiber hand on the tea vessel and brewing a tea of beautiful colour.
"A snack was... quite a bit, this"
Die insisted on Alvina, staring at the dishes he had worked pretty hard to clean. Heath also nods silently, indicating her agreement here.
The meal prepared by Alvina must have been delicious on top of this. It would also work as a first-class cook. Besides, I hadn't eaten a decent meal for nearly a whole day. Consider this one, or there were more things available that seemed good for digestion. Normally, I should have been able to fit it in my stomach.
But.
But.
But it is.
The quantity was unusual.
Die groaned as he rubbed his stomach, which he felt was even out there somewhat.
"This is what you say about being full..."
"Now, if Alvina attacked you, you'd be feeding in one shot. I can't move."
"I'm not going to attack you! What are you attacking?
Bad, screaming mages are eating as much or more as they do. Even though I still have to eat enough, I'm even pulling out a tea contract. It is an unimaginable cannibal swing from a skinny body.
"Well, keep it slow,"
Alvina said as she lined up her after-dinner tea before Die and Heath.
"Now, I'm gonna get my bedroom ready, and then you can go to bed."
"No, I'll help you clean it up."
The die aroused his heavy body and stood up, superimposing an empty plate. I can also draw attention to the fact that this is all a treat and I won't help clean up one thing. Is Heath in the same mood or is he silently starting to wrap up the dishes in front of him?
"I don't mind..."
Raising a troubled voice, Alvina never stopped this act. I'm laughing in a good mood. Even during the meal, she was like that all the time. She said that one person lived there for a long time and rarely related to others.
So he said it was fun and he couldn't help it.
Her care was very meticulous. Die could relax as if he were at home, and Heath, though a little concerned, seems not so nervous.
"It's good to wash it."
"But"
"It's okay. I only entertain customers once in a while."
Alvina says so and doesn't give in.
Die followed her into the kitchen first, walking with a plate. Alvina reaches over here with a vial of seasoning left by the pan back on the shelf. I guess that means give me the dishes.
Die looked up at her as she gave her a plate following silent instructions.
In the corner of the white sand wilderness, a magician woman who lives secluded. Hold the feeling that you're going to look like makeup on a prominent, clear face.
Die thought.
I wonder what the hell she thought and did 'that sort of thing'.
He was after the opportunity to ask while Heath was in the hot tub, but in the end, she had managed to escape.
Ask later, will you answer me?
What the hell was she doing metaphorically?
-... concentrating on silence. He was neglecting his consciousness of the body.
"Die!"
He returned to me with Heath's sharp voice rising from behind him, where for the first time, Die realized that the weight was disappearing from his own hands. The dish slipped out of the hand of a powerless die.
to be pulled to the ground and fall, dishes. Close your eyes ready for the crushing sound. But the sound to be sounded did not reach my ears, which I had set myself up for ever.
Die accidentally stuffs his breath at the sight he witnessed from the gap in his lid that he pushed up in fear.
A few plates that should have been destined to be unbroken and scattered. All of them, on the verge of being slammed to the floor, were still.
It's floating in the universe.
"... to"
Stunned, Die groaned. With the dish as the center point, the circle of light turns as it twists. A geometric ring that emits light in thin green. It was a magical circle, undisputed, surrounded by plates.
In front of the immobile die, paralyzed from surprise, the dish rose fluttering with zero phosphorescence, one after the other in a polished flush. And they are carefully piled up, as if someone invisible is lending a hand.
It's like watching a trick.
The last one echoes a stiff, stiff sound into the room, as if this were to declare it over.
"Wow......!
Die didn't think, he was leaking an exclamation.
I've never seen a magic trick like this before. The same seems to be true of Heath, who was just around the corner. He also has a stunned eye for dishes loaded with flushes.
The admirably breathing die looked up at Alvina - surprisingly, he twisted his neck.
"... Alvey"
Even though he said he exercised pleasant sorcery in his eyes, the sorcerer did not have a good look on his face, but remained in a position where he offered his hand not to receive the plate. However, only the face is directed towards the door that leads to the hallway.
The expression floating there was a tough one.
I can say I'm staring.
"Alvey?"
What the hell is wrong with you, and I call you back. Alvina turned to Die and smiled in the way that she had just realized the call for the first time.
"Looks like a little customer's here."
Unhook it, she said.
"Have a nice cup of tea. I'll deal with you."
Put the die and the heath down and go out to the front door.
Beyond the fence surrounding the house, each of the five thinly soiled men stood with a dagger.
Were you about to split up on all sides and raid the house? Thank you for your hard work.
"Oh, you're the bandits, aren't you?
Of course the men don't answer Alvina's queries. They stood here with daggers in front of them, but they couldn't move, trying to twist and pack the distance.
Alvina looked behind them. It's the main road from the 'front door' to here, but you wanted to avoid the five coming in dense. I hear some of them have been pushing through the woods. I frown upon the grass trees that have been trampled and vandalized.
"I have no choice, kids. I've wasted a lot of it."
Even though some of those were buds of flowers that would soon have entertained Alvina's eyes and the kind of herbs that would have replaced the currency.
Fly consciousness into the house behind you. The Dies seemed wondering if they would come this way. Before I came, I thought. Before I come, I want to settle.
It won't take long, anyway. I won't hang up.
Alvina smiled at the leaning men.
"Just the child who wants to die. Hey. Let's make him regret being born and raise it."
They weren't magicians. I didn't have any of that qualities. Therefore, they have been persecuted.
If they had the gift of watching magic, they would have fled instantly in overwhelming fear.
They died in peace, in a way, because they were not gifted. Unable to comprehend the life given, the failure to accomplish it.
Fine and enormous. Delicate and luxurious. No one in this world can be made, only possible for her, under the name of witchcraft, art.
It jumped on them like a carnivore, devoured them, burned, melted and tore down their flesh.
It doesn't even leave a splash of blood, the annihilation of the moment.
And the sorcerer, who had finished it, laughed secretly, and set foot in the garden, where no one was.
Who the hell was the customer?
Boiling his fortune to Alvina, who looked hard to return to, Die took Heath with him to the front door.
It's sometime out there at night. Apparently, there are decent days and nights in this strange place, too.
"Alvey?"
Alvina was out of the fence surrounding the house and bent by the tree. Apparently she notices the call, she gets up and greets this one and leaks a bitter laugh.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I was going to go right back..."
"What happened to the customer?
"Yeah. Welcome home."
To Die's question, Alvina has smiled and answered instantly. I stare at her wondering if it's true. Given the swordswallowing atmosphere earlier, it's hard to think of it as word-wise. But the hunched die decided to refrain from pursuing it.
"The flowers...?
Heath throws the question to Alvina over the body of the die. A flower he shows is a grasshopper with a broken stem that Alvina overlooks. Someone seems to have crushed it.
There are still signs of people trampling and vandalism, not just flowers, but from the back of the woods all the way here. Apparently, I wish someone had come this way through the woods. I guess that's what she was talking about as a 'guest'. The key guests are already blind to shadows and shapes.
"Hmm, no more"
Alvina groans, pointing her aching gaze at the roots of the plants.
"It broke completely from the roots. I was going to use it to make lotion when the stump opened a little more..."
"... lotion?
Unexpectedly the voice raised by the die, Heath's it overlaps beautifully.
"That's right. Me, I'm a hobbyist at making all sorts of things, but lately I've been elaborate on making lotions and emulsions and cosmetics."
You used to be so elaborate on cooking, the sorceress woman tells you in an extended tone. Die looked up at Heath behind him, frightened by his silliness additions and subtractions. I've been eyeing him. He's smiling bitterly, too. Apparently, what you're thinking is the same.
Instead, I want to stuff myself that I've never been able to associate with.
"Alvey, I'm grocery shopping downtown, Miguel, you know?
When asked to try, alas, Alvina put her hand on her mouth.
"Die, do you know him? They take the extra cosmetics a lot."
Few women live alone in the wilderness. You can call it nothing.
Why didn't you notice?
Alvina said it applied exactly to the conditions Miguel was stating.
Back inside the house, Die was called to the room on his left as soon as he entered the front door from Alvina. It was the bookshelves that surrounded all sides that greeted the die stepping into that room, which had been closed until earlier.
It's a study.
Behind the room, Alvina said, fishing for loaded boxes.
"I've been in a luggage dump lately. Mm-hmm. The one I recently finished building, so in the back... oh, there it is."
Alvina took the vials out of the box sequentially enough to fit in the palm of her hand and arranged them on the carpet. I recognize every one of them. It's exactly the same thing Die uses at work.
"I can't believe Die used what I made."
Alvina says as she closes the box lid and takes away the fabric bags that were folded and placed. Die laughed as she walked over to her.
"I didn't think Alvey was the one making it, either."
The thief had attacked me, and the woman I was looking for had been wiped out of my mind. That's the same with Heath, who is currently roaring while washing dishes instead of Alvina. He doesn't seem to be. He can't forgive his bad taste.
Alvina stood up and handed a bag containing cosmetics to Die.
"Yes. That's all for now. I'll give you the rest soon, Miguel."
"... thank you"
While remembering the subtle mood in the name of the friend to be ordained, Die took the cosmetics and bowed his head. Open the mouth of the bag with your fingertips as you leave the room following Alvina and check the contents. Familiar items. I was simply happy with the fact that I would be able to get another product that I had chosen and continued to use because I thought it was better than what the work tools were.
"Well, then I'll be ready for the bedroom."
"Alvey."
Die calls for Alvina to hang on the stairs upstairs, not to the living room.
"What's going on?
"Really, thank you"
Embracing the wrap, Die lowered his head with a pepper. I just wanted to thank someone who started working as a makeup artist and produced products that I had been working with for a long time.
Alvina has her eyes wide open. Very unexpected, as they say.
Laughing face-to-face, she thanked you for your welcome and quickly went upstairs.
When the two guests went up to the bedroom, they seemed to have fallen asleep.
This place drives the sensation of the body of what was invited, on top of the different ways in which time passes under the influence of her magic. The Guests must have been more exhausted than they thought.
Hang the sleeping technique through the door just in case you won't wake up. I don't want to use a lot of magic, but I can't help it. It was troublesome to wake up on the way.
Open the door. Bedrooms for guests that haven't been ready in a long time. On two bunks lined up, each guest is asleep.
Sleeping breath of others. Temperature of others.
Some of the sales are there, which she let go of a long time ago.
I glance at the Guest's pillow that he's a makeup artist. The product she created for comfort is placed in a bag. She smiled. Maybe we'll see each other again.
She closes her eyes and knits her demons.
The demon closer than anyone responded to her call and appeared in the world as she danced with joy.
And as she instructed, she sent the guests back to the world they were meant to live in.
Overhead.
The screams, they bounced.
"Ahhhhhh!?!?!?"
The voice of the man who turned it over. It's a deafening oddity, Die thought in his dreams. The tympanic membrane is paralyzed. At the same time my head complained of blunt pain.
"... what is it?
Even though he is still sleepy, the groaning die returns to me and wakes up to the voice of the man who went on and jumped into his ear.
"Ah, you! Die! When the hell did you get in here?!
The man, sticking to the door of the room and making an odd noise, is a welcoming shop owner with a man behind him at the bottom of the castle to his customers.
"... mi, miguel!?
Die shouted his name in dismay as he slept on the floor.
"Huh... Huh?
I can't swallow the situation and look around with groans. The elongated store where clutter fills the walls, no matter, looked familiar.
Definitely.
This is Miguel's shop.
"... What, what is it? Die. In the morning..."
"Heath."
Behind him, Heath was holding his head down and waking up his upper body just like a die. He shook his head gently and blinked his eyes, apparently finally figuring out the situation.
From his neat face, his bloody temper makes a noise and pulls away.
"... Huh?
Heath was also groaning low, stunned.
That would be so.
We must have been at Alvina's house. After I finished cleaning up dinner, I went into the room she had prepared and I should have slept.
Even so.
"... well, what's going on?
"I don't know, I don't..."
When did we move to Miguel's?
How and what path did you follow to get back here in the first place?
"... Yume, was it or something?
After leaving Miguel's shop, he also left for the next town. He was attacked by thieves on his way home and also lost his way into Alvina's house.
To Die's suggestion, Heath returns a denial, with a bitter face, that no way.
"That's everything, a dream? That can't be -... right? Die, your clothes are different"
"Huh?"
To Heath's point, Die confirmed his appearance. The top and bottom of the black edged generation were certainly borrowed from Alvina. Heath is in the same way again, wearing the clothes that were put out of her last night.
"Hey you guys! What the fuck!? Explain it to me!
They can't swallow the situation. Miguel screams in a flipped voice. It was the mountains that wanted to respond to his request, but I wasn't sure that Die himself could explain it well.
The die, who first tried to stand up, caught his eye on the garment placed on the floor and the wrap slightly inclined on it.
Packaging of cosmetics, received from Alvina.
It was quietly claiming a return to everyday life in the midst of the dazzling sunlight that plunged through the window.
