Song Xia was in awe at Meng Min's foolish behavior. She might have a decent IQ but a sorely lacking EQ.Did she really think that anyone would believe her? Gao Hong had been using Meng Min to do her dirty work for so long that her reputation was atrocious.

Sure ,Jin Yu and Song Xia knew the truth but why would they help Men Min. She had mercilessly plotted against Song Xia but was foiled by her own stupidity.

" Min Min , how can you say that! Song Xia is my foster sister and I care for her as if she was my own sister!" Gao Hong's eyes widened as if shocked by Meng Min's accusations.

Originally Song Xia didn't plan to act against Gao Hong .Regrettably Gao Hong couldn't live her own life but chose to plot against her.

" Girls enough at this blame game!Miss Min, you have been caught red-handed so please stop with your lies!"Yelled Principal Wen his jaws clenched as he tried to control his temper.

" Firstly , Zhong Hu you will be punished with two weeks detention and your privileges regarding being part of the student council will be suspended until further notice. This is for abusing your authority and forgetting to check up on these students' behavior."Zhong Hu was relieved the punishment wasn't harsh but had turned red out of embarrassment and shame-faced glared at the ground . He felt as he couldn't hold his head high in front of other council members anymore.

"Miss Gao, your involvement in this situation was unclear. I'm not sure if your intentions were pure or not but you did indirectly harmed Miss Song. Your punishment will be a week suspension, detention for a month and all social activity privileges will be revoked."He stated simply looking away from the girl who wore a wronged expression.

"Lastly ,Miss Min , what should your punishment be?"

Song was not a saint nor a fool so she had chosen to protect herself. This was her precious second chance at life. A life that she would make the most of and leave behind no regrets.

She would unhesitatingly cut all the grass at the roots !Since she couldn't do anything to Gao Hong without proof there was Meng Min. Meng Min was a mindless minion who could prove to be dangerous .

At this time Song Xia who was a silent observer of the events playing in front of her suddenly spoke up.

The principal agreed as he thought her the victim of this whole drama.

In the end Meng Min was expelled kicking and screaming while Gao Hong fed the fire mentioning many instances where Meng Min bullied other students. The first lunch beak at 11:00 had arrived .Song Xia , Jin Yu and Shen Xue were walking from the Principal's Office to the cafeteria . Mr. Yi had already written a note to excuse them from their earlier classes.

Shen Xue was currently venting her frustration to her friends." Xiao Xia, I cannot believe that deranged girl! So annoying! She was bad-mouthing you in the hallway but in the Principal's office she's say that you are like her sister!" She huffed and continued " Jin Yu, that ...what was her name... Gao Hong is so disgusting!"

They found Shen Xue's irritable expression quite cute. Song Xia patted Shen Xue's arm and ȧssured her that she was fine." Xue Er, ignore that unpleasant person and let's be happy that you joined our school!"

Jin Yu gave them a warm smile ," Now we can be the three musketeers!This year is going to be so awesome!"

As they approached the lockers Shen Xue stopped at her locker and removed a large black cooler bag.

Jin Yu and Song Xia exchanged a look of confusion before asking Shen Xue what was in the bag.

"Oh, it's just my lunch.My mother was not sure that I would like the cafeteria food so she had the chef prepare some of my favorite dishes. I think she went a bit overboard but there plenty for all of us to share."Shen Xue was a bit puzzled at their questioning looks.

Soon they heard the buzzing sound of voices as they approached the cafeteria.It was too cold to sit outside and the icy wind had made them unconsciously walk faster than usual.

As the trio entered they felt many gazes on them and the hum of voices lowered as they walked by.Song Xia with her exceptional hearing still managed to make out some of the content.

"Hey, hey ! Did you hear that Meng Min tried to frame Song Xia and was kicked out of the school!" A group of freshman girls gossiped

While a group of senior girls and boys who sat in the middle where discussing the drama from earlier."Ha , Zhong Hu was kicked out of the student body because of his girlfriend!"

" Who ? Meng Min? She really doesn't seem like his type !" One muscular boy jokes and the girl next to him slapped his shoulder." No, you bum! Gao Hong! Who doesn't know Zhong Hu is obsessed with Gao Hong!"

Some students with richer backgrounds downright stared at Shen Xue with burning eyes." Is that Shen Xue? The Shen Xue? The Young Lady of the Shen Family!"
