" Song Xia, if you would like Grandma Chi could teach you embroidery? How about it would you like to be my apprentice?"

Grandma Chi was nervous to teach somebody her skills after what had happened in the past. Chi Shuang was not any old lady. She was the Chi Family 's head embroider and business owner in the capital. The Chi Family had a history of a century old embroidery and clothing company . In ancient times the Chi Family made clothes for the Royal Families and even the Emperor .However in the end Chi Shuang was the last of her family to inherit both the skills and the business .She had diligently taught her daughter- in -law her skills but efforts were never appreciated. Who knew that her own unfilial son and greedy daughter -in-law would conspire against her and steal her family company?Putting her trust in them they repaid her by framing her for tax evasion.Even her old husband had been conspired against and been kicked out of his ancestral home.

Luckily her husband had some old connections in the army that allowed them to leave the Capital and live peacefully in G City.They had some money,shares , jewelry and property that allowed them to have a good standard of living and run a small business as a hobby.

The only thing was she terribly missed her daughter. Her daughter was filial , kind and a good child but unfortunately she had married into a big aristocratic family that had allied themselves with her son. So in the end they left and never contacted her in order to avoid implicating her.

Now they had been in G City for over 10 years and Chi Shuang wanted her craft and legacy to live on in a person who deserved it. She had always had an eye for people and they only reason they had ended up in such a dire situation was because of her blind love for her son.

Of course Chi Shuang knew his character was greedy and selfish but she had never expected he would harm his parents for worldly possessions.Why? In the end the business would have been split between the children.

Looking at the little girl with clear eyes who was speechless she felt fondness growing in her heart.

Currently Song Xia was contemplating Grandma Chi's offer and felt overwhelmed. She had never had a fashion mentor or teacher and was self- taught . In this lifetime it would be an honor to have Grandma Chi teach her to embroidery .

Should I or shouldn't I?

On top of being able to learn such a beautiful craft she was sure that Grandma Chi would help her improve her other design skills.

" Grandma Chi , are you sure you want to take me as your apprentice?"

Chi Shuang nodded,"Yes, I'm sure. It is not everyday I come across a talent like yours.Grandma has only had two disciples in her lifetime you will be the third.Your senior brother ran away overseas and has not returned yet .While my other apprentice sorely disappoint me. " Taking a deep breathe Grandma Chi held Song Xia hand ." Xiao Xia, before Grandma dies she wants to leave behind a good legacy. I have faith in you! Will you become my apprentice?"

Song Xia agreed," Master , it would be an honor to learn from you."

Chi Shuang eyes became slightly wet as she stated," Good.Good.Good."

Soon the beautiful moment was interrupted by Grandpa Si's grumbling.

"Old lady is it necessary to be so dramatic! What are you crying for! The little girl already agreed to be your apprentice . "

Grandpa Si put his arms around Grandma Chi in a half hug before whispering in your ear.

" How dare you talk as if you are going to die soon! If you dare ,don't blame me for chasing you to the afterlife!"

The place that Shen Xue wanted to eat at was a kebab, fried fish and hotpot diner. Song Xia could small the fragrant smell of meat and spices as soon as she entered the shop.

The diner truly had delicious food so it was overcrowded during a Friday afternoon. There were tables inside and outside with many people milling about.Soon it would be rush hour and become even busier.

Luckily Shen Xue had already reserved a table otherwise they would have no place to sit.Looking around the shop Song Xia couldn't see her friends . Before she decided to message them she heard a voice on the left.

" Xiao Xia! Xiao Yu and I have a table outside."

Shen Xue was wearing black skinny jeans and a white and gold batwing style top and a pair of gold framed sunglasses.

The fried fish and meat kebabs soon arrived.The fried fish came with various dipping sauces- lemon better, spicy chili, barbecue and sweet- chili . The fish was delicious, fresh and well- cooked. The batter was light and crispy.

The meat kebabs were also scrumptious and the three girls ate their full until their stomachs were bulging.Sweet-chili and lemon chicken kebabs where Song Xia 's favorite. While Shen Xue and Jin Yu preferred the peri-peri and barbecue lamb kebabs. The side dishes were Kimchi, green salads and potatoes chips.

The diner also served excellent egg tart so they ordered that for dessert. They sat and chatted while waiting for their order to come.

" Present time!" Grinned Shen Xue.

" For , Xiao Yu !"The bag that Jin Yu got was silver and white with the name Remi Vaganay.

In the bag were a pair of designer dove grey jeans and a sky blue blouse with pearl buŧŧons .

Remi Vaganay was a top tier brand in France. It was above what most people could afford but Shen Xue had no scruples gifting it to Jin Yu.

" Wow! Thank you so much Xue Er. "

" Next Xiao Xia!"Shen Xue said as she passed a bag to Song Xia.

The black bag that Song Xia got was from Bellissimo as stated in the elegant red print.

In the bag was a black aviator jacket with red trimming. It was stylish and cool . It was Song Xia's style and she adored it the moment she saw it.

" Thank you, Xue Er! I really like it!"Song Xia's While her face radiated from happiness.. She unintentionally dazzled her friends and some customers in the diner.
