The Revenge Turned To Love

Chapter 128 - Xian's Emotions!

The old man waited there for almost two hours but Mishi didn't come there. He asked the receptionist about this and the receptionist told him that he had to wait. In the late evening Mishi reached there with her Secretary and found the man on the sofa. She ran to him and then greeted him.

The old man was happy seeing her and then greeted her. "Please uncle come this way. We will talk about this in my office," stated Mishi. The man nodded and followed her. They get into the VIP elevator where Mishi inquired if the man had taken the meals.

"Yes, I've eaten lunch," answered the old man. They reached Mishi's cabinet when Mishi told her Secretary that he should go home. From there Mishi left with the old man to her cabinet.

"Please have a seat uncle," Mishi offered the man. The man thanked her and got seated on the sofa there. Mishi put the water in a glass and then gave him the water. Checking her phone she sat opposite to the man and asked about his name.

"My name is Wang Shui Zhang."

"I think I will call you uncle. Well, sorry you've to wait for long." Mishi said politely.

"It's fine, madam. I can understand. Running such a big company is difficult." Shui Zhang expressed his understanding.

Mishi smiled hearing him. "Please don't call me madam. Call me Mishi. I will love that. Don't hesitate," stated Mishi. Shui Zhang nodded.

"Please drive me to the office in the morning and in the evening too. The HR department will make your salary and will inform you by tomorrow. Don't worry it's the permanent job. You can work here as long as you want to." Mishi assured Shui Zhang.

He became emotional and rubbed his eyes. "Thank you. Thanks a lot. You helped me in a time when no one did." Shui Zhang expressed his gratitude towards her.

"You don't need to thank me. I used to be like that in earlier times then someone helped me too," said Mishi and recalled the day Yuwan took her to the TMS. "Well my home address is this. Please be there at 7:30 am," stated Mishi. Shui Zhang assured her that he will be on time. After talking with Shui Zhang for a while , they left the office around 6 pm.

Mishi looked at her, sitting inside the car. "2 missed calls. Xian must be waiting for me," murmured Mishi. She messaged Xian that she will meet him near his office. She then started the engine and left from there.

After an hour she reached there and saw Xian's car. She got out of the car and went to him. Knocking at the window she waved at Xian. Xian was delighted to see her immediately come out of his car.

"You've become busy. A true businesswoman." Complemented Xian. Mishi smiled hearing this and told him that they should drink coffee in the cafe. Xian nodded and they both got inside the cafe where Mishi used to work.

The owner smiled seeing her and told one of the boys to take their order. "Two Americanos, please." Mishi ordered. The boy nodded and handed her two cups. Mishi and Xian sat quite far from the entrance, which was a somewhat isolated seat.

"I used to work here," murmured Mishi with a gentle smile on her lips.

"Hmm. I know," said Xian.

"Of course you will know. You fired me from my two jobs on the same day," Mishi said in an angry tone. Xian smiled hearing her and held her hand. Rubbing her hand lovingly he said, "if I wouldn't have fired you then how would I have met you?"

Mishi noticed that Xian isn't as happy and cheerful as he used to be. They both finished their coffees and then came out of the cafe. They both walked in the pavilion for sometime. Mishi was leaning her head on his shoulder, tightly holding his arm.

They both kept walking until they came near a small water stream bridge. They both stood there for sometime. Xian was looking at his reflection in the water.

"What is going on inside your mind? Why don't you tell me?," whispered Mishi. Xian turned his eyes to look at her. He saw the concern in Mishi's eyes for him.

"Work pressure," lied Xian.

Mishi turned to him. "Don't lie. Is it because of your father?" Mishi asked straightforwardly without beating around the bush. Xian studied Mishi's eyes and nodded. Mishi kissed on his cheek and leaned back. Xian smiled seeing her reaction.

"Someone told me that by showing love you can forget the pain," murmured Mishi. Xian smiled hearing her.

"I love you." Said Xian and put Mishi's one hand inside his pocket.

"I love you too," responded Mishi with a warm smile. Both got immersed into the deep eyes of each other when a raindrop fell on Mishi's forehead. "Ahh," Mishi passed a low scream and touched her forehead. The rain started pouring down and the drops were heavy.

Xian and Mishi ran back and arrived in front of Maximus. The rain was showering heavily. "I think we should stay in the office for a while till it stops," murmured Xian. Mishi nodded and they both got in.

Mishi's hair and clothes were wet because of the rain, so was Xian's. He wiped off the raindrops from Mishi's face and then went towards the other end of his cabinet, taking out a towel and a pair of clothes.

He came to her and told her to dry herself. "It's not needed. You should wear them," said Mishi looking at the clothes that Xian gave her.

"I don't want you to fall sick," said Xian. "I also don't want that. So you have to wear these. I won't listen to any of your sweet talks. Go in and change." Mishi ordered Xian. Xian wanted to refuse but seeing Mishi's glare he wasn't able to.

He walked towards the washroom when he turned back. "Mishi, please wear these. I'm okay," Xian again said. Mishi glared at him and Xian had to go in.

In that time Mishi dried her hair from the other towel. She took off her blazer and then wiped her shirt. She unbuttoned her first two buttons and wiped her neck area when Xian came out.

Mishi turned to him and told him that rain wasn't stopping. Xian put the towel on the sofa and increased the warmer temperature through a remote. He looked at her and said, "we have to spend the night together all alone in this office if rain won't stop."

"Don't go out alone, from this cabinet. Ghosts can be there," whispered Xian in Mishi's ear. She hit him at the shoulder and told him not to say any such thing.

The lights turned off and she tightly held Xian's arms. Xian smiled at her reaction. "Why isn't generating operating?," asked Mishi while stammering.

"Maybe some fault," murmured Xian and snaked his arm around Mishi's waist. "I'm here so don't worry," assured Xian. They both sat on the couch there when Xian put his head on Mishi's shoulder. "Let's be like this for sometime," murmured Xian. Mishi nodded and then put her right hand on his head, patting at it lovingly.

Xian closed his eyes and said, "I was an unwanted child for him. He never wanted me to be in this world." Tears were also pouring down from his eyes. Hearing these words Mishi was startled for a while when the tears from Xian's eyes fell on her hand.

"Xian," whispered Mishi. She cupped his face in her hands and made him look at her. Her heart was broken to thousands of pieces seeing Xian. He was crying like a child. The pain was visible through his face, the sufferings he had gone through which Mishi couldn't even explain were visible on the face of Xian.

Controlling her tears, Mishi wiped off the tears from his eyes from her one hand. "Cry as much as you want. I know it's painful to you" murmured Mishi and caressed his shoulder from the other.

Xian tightly hugged her and started crying profusely. "I could've died Mishi but that man never came in those two weeks. Every father cares for his child but he never did. I used to convince myself saying that he's busy at work but he wasn't.

He said I had a normal fever and I shouldn't be born. He never came to my school to take me home." Stuttered Xian while sobbing.

Mishi couldn't control her tears and put her one palm on her mouth hearing this. She caressed Xian's back. "But your mother always wanted to have you. We all love you Xian so don't think about him." Mishi said in her soft voice but soon broke down. Xian leaned back and wiped off his tears.

"Don't cry because of me," murmured Xian and wiped off Mishi's face.

"How can't I? I love you a lot and it's my first time seeing you like this," Mishi said while crying. Xian cupped her face up. "Don't cry." Muttered Xian and wiped off the tears with his thumb. He tucked her hair strands behind her ear when Mishi kissed on his lips and then leaned back. "Don't cry from now on like this. My heart won't be able to take it."

Xian smiled and nodded at her.
