The Revenge Turned To Love

Xia and Yuwan have returned from their honeymoon trip in the early morning. As they came into the house, Xia sat on the couch. "Ahh, finally home," said Xia in a happy tone. 

"I'm going to the office. You should take rest today and then from tomorrow you can start," muttered Yuwan, looking at Xia.

"Okay but aren't you tired?," inquired Xia. 

"No, it's just a few hours' travel. Mishi is also doing everything alone there for five days so I should go. I'll announce your marriage with me too," stated Yuwan and slid his hands inside the pants pockets. 

"Umm..Yes. Mishi is doing everything alone. Then I should also come because what will I do here.In the office I can see the work." Xia put her point. 

"No, take rest for today. I'll check the things. Okay, then I should get ready," saying this Yuwan went inside his room. After a minute, he called Xia from there. Xia went inside his room and asked what happened. 

Rubbing his forehead with two of his fingers he said, "actually we are husband-wife now so shift your things in this room. I'll hire a maid too as we will mostly be busy so she will do the household chores." 

Xia nodded and told him that she would hire the maid. Yuwan thanked her and went inside the washroom. Xia too went to her room and after freshening up she went to the kitchen to prepare the breakfast for them. After she was done, she set the table and put the plates and bowls there. But then Yuwan came there and thanked her for making breakfast.

"Don't thank me for small things," murmured Xia. Yuwan smiled and told her to eat. Xia put the freshly prepared orange juice for Yuwan in a glass. They continued eating when Yuwan and Xia at the same time felt the absence of Xiu Ping. 

The atmosphere became sad. "If he would be here then…" Xia cut Yuwan's words and said, "then he would've been happy to see us together." She then looked into Yuwan's eyes. Their eyes were wet because tears formed there. 

"It was my mistake for not listening to him," murmured Yuwan and then lowered his eyes. Tears fell from his eyes. Xia immediately got up from the chair and went to him. "Don't cry," Xia said in a low voice and then wiped off the tears from his face. Yuwan put his head on her stomach while Xia was caressing her head. 

"He's seeing us. He's happy that you're finally married," Xia consoled Yuwan. 

"But still if he would be here then things would be different. We humans regret for the things when we lose them," whispered Yuwan in a sad voice. Xia continued caressing his head for a while when Yuwan raised his head. 

"I'm happy you're with me else it would be difficult for me to survive," said Yuwan and got up from the chair. They were standing close with each other when Yuwan said that he had to go to the office as he was done eating. He grabbed the juice glass and walked away from there while Xia watched him going away. 

Yuwan after some time left the house. As he walked out of the house, Yuwan saw a car outside. He walked to the man and asked him why he was parking the car there. 

"Mishi madam has sent the car for you. I'm her driver, Shui Zhang. Please get in," stated Shui. Yuwan nodded and got into the car, leaving from there to the office. 

"Did she hire you?," inquired Yuwan

"Yes. Mishi madam is really nice. She gave me the job at the time when no one helped me," answered Shui Zhang.

"Hmm. She is a nice lady. Are you enjoying the work then?," asked Yuwan.

"Yes sir," replied Shui Zhang. Yuwan saw the man and he looked much older. "Don't call me sir. You're much older than me. Call me by my name. It's Yuwan Ping," said Yuwan in a polite way. Shui nodded and felt happy as he got really nice bosses unlike his previous jobs where he was abused badly. 

Reaching the office, the employees passing across him greeted him. He went to the elevator and pressed the button. Reaching his cabinet he found Qiang and Mishi there with bouquets in their hands. A wide smile carved on Yuwan's lips. 

"So, congratulations on getting married, Yuwan Sir." Mishi said with a cheerful voice and then handed him the bouquet, so did Qiang. He thanked them and asked Mishi why she was calling him sir. 

"Because you didn't even tell me that you're privately marrying. You don't consider me your friend," said Mishi while folding her arms. 

"Aiye...for that I'm really sorry. But I wasn't in….." Mishi cut Yuwan's words and said, "it's fine. I know you were sad too. Well it's good now that you're married to Xia. Invite me soon to give the party." 

Yuwan smiled and then said , "I'll call my close ones in a small wedding reception. Qiang, thanks for planning that trip with dad. We really enjoyed it there." Mishi told them she's going to her cabinet as she had a really important meeting in a while and left from there.

Qiang smiled and inquired, "so did you and Xia get closed?"

"What? We just married. I mean we both are great friends but I want to give time to everything," replied Yuwan and sat on the chair.

"I know how unromantic you are. Take her out from now on and give her ample time," stated Qiang. 

"I'm not unromantic. I want her to be comfortable with me. I mean it was sudden for her too. She married me under those circumstances. Don't worry I know that I'm married now so I've to take care of her in a more gentle way." Yuwan assured Qiang. 

"I agree with you. I should leave too. Your marriage announcement will be done in a while," said Qiang. 

"Give bonuses this month in the salary to all employees," stated Yuwan to Qiang to which he nodded and left from there. Yuwan's Secretary entered the cabinet. Greeting him she first congratulated him and then told him about his day's schedule. 

Yuwan thanked her and then left for the managers meeting which was going to be started in five minutes.

Mark was walking through the corridor after checking the operations in the department when he saw Yin coming to his direction. He walked towards her with slow steps and told his Secretary to go to Li Wei to discuss the report. The Secretary nodded and left from there. 

Yin greeted Mark and told him that she decided to join the work. Mark smiled and told her she did right. "Mark, I want to eat dinner with you tonight. I mean if...you…" Yin stuttered. 

Mark was startled to hear this. "Are you asking me out?," asked Mark. 

Yin with lower eyes nodded her head. "Yes...I mean...I thought about this," murmured Yin. Mark smiled and said, "Thanks. Thanks for thinking about this. I'll book a restaurant for our dinner."

"But why this sudden decision?," inquired Mark with a raised brow. "I'm asking out of curiosity," Mark then cleared himself. He then told her that they should go to his cabinet. Yin nodded and they left to his cabinet. Sitting on the couch, opposite to each other Mark looked at her, looking for the answer for the question he asked.

"Lau Lan helped me. I mean it's like a second chance for me. Indeed I did wrong which isn't forgivable but you all forgave me, especially Mishi. The chance I get this time I can't lose it. I want to feel what happiness feels like. The day we went to the club was really a nice day. I'm happy that you waited for me till now." Yin told Mark about her deep inner feelings. 

Mark got immense pleasure hearing that. "I really love you a lot. I was at fault too. Let's enjoy our life from now on with each other. I will never let you go even if you want to," muttered Mark in a serious tone. 

Yin smiled slightly. Talking for a while she got up from the sofa and told him she should leave when Mark told her that he will come to her cabin in the evening at 5 o'clock. Yin agreed on that and left from there.

"Thanks. Finally things are going good. After Mishi and Xian will be married, our family will be reunited and we will all live happily," thought Mark in his mind. He went to his desk and opened the desktop. Checking the stocks first he landed on the other page where he had to work on the upcoming project with an oil company for the construction. 

A message pinged on his mobile. "Brother Mark, it's Chunhua. I want to meet you. I can't tell others so when you"ll be free please call me." Mark got tensed reading the message. He called her immediately and then left for her agency.
