The Revenge Turned To Love

Chapter 165 - The Memory Of Mishi!

As soon as Mishi's lips touched Xian, their eyes met. Xian once again felt the touch was familiar. His mind was again filled with those questions of being in love with Mishi.

"Um….Xi-Xian," whispered Mishi when Xian immediately leaned back onto his seat. "I- I am sorry. That was a mistake," murmured Mishi, not able to look into his eyes.

Xian started the engine, thus driving away from there. There was an awkward silence between the two. Both were thinking about the incident but in a different way.

"What would he be thinking? I should've leaned back at that time," thought Mishi and internally cursed herself for acting clumsy.

"Why is her touch familiar to me? But why is she always acting as if we two are strangers who have never met each other. Wait, her leg is also injured. But, how? I should ask that," thought Xian then broke the ice.

"Mishi, how did your foot get injured?," asked Xian, keeping his gaze fixed on the road.

"I was into an accident," answered Mishi.

"Accident?," murmured Xian and looked at her. He then turned his head towards the road. "How long?," Xian further asked.

"It has been a month. The accident was deadly as I have lost my past 8 years memories. I don't even remember what happened in those years," stated Mingmei. Xian was shocked to hear this. Suddenly a huge truck passed by which triggered Xian.

He lost control on brakes and felt severe pain in his head. The flashes appeared again. He was holding someone's hand when he saw blood flowing down his head. His breathings became unusual. He was jerking his head when he saw himself in front of Mishi in wedding clothes. Their car was almost going to hit a vehicle when Mishi shouted his name and unknowingly grabbed his arm.

The flash vanished and Xian saw they were going to hit. Immediately he turned the car and applied the brakes. They were now on the side of the road, saved from hitting against a pole. Xian laid his head back, closed his eyes as sweats formed on his forehead. Mishi was scared too when she saw sweat on Xian's forehead.

Relaxing for a few more minutes, Mishi took out the handkerchief from her sling bag and wiped off the sweat that had formed on Xian's forehead. Xian breaths were stabilized and the next second he hugged Mishi tightly. Mishi didn't expect such a thing from him.

Mishi touched his shoulder tightly and patted on it. "It's fine. We are okay," Mishi said in her soft, soothing tone. Xian was confused about the memory he just saw. He released her and said, "I should call a driver." Mishi agreed with him.

After 30 minutes, the driver reached there. Mishi and Xian were in the backseat when Xian told the driver to drive them to Xin Mansion and told him the location. The driver nodded and drove them away.

After an hour, they reached Xin mansion. Chang was already outside to take her sister inside the house. As Xian stepped out holding Mishi, a smile carved on Chang's lips. "They two are looking so good together," thought Chang and walked to them.

Grabbing Mishi's hand, Chang thanked Xian to which Xian said it

was his responsibility. "Take care of your foot, Mishi," said Xian.

"You too. Have a good rest," muttered Mishi.

"Okay, I should leave. Thanks for the gifts again." Saying this Xian got into the car and left from there. Chang took inside Mishi.

In the car Xian was thinking about the flashes he got. "I was married to her? But why did my family hide this fact from me? Or I'm thinking too much. But she also has a memory loss like. It's all getting complicated," thought Xian and rested his head on the seat's crook, closing his eyes.

Bai came to home with a smiling face when she saw Xian's family was laughing with each other talking about something in the living room.

"Let's see what's the reason of their happiness?," murmured Bai and stopped at her place.

"Mom, I myself was them. I almost entered Xian's. Cabinet when I saw Mishi was making a knot for him in the tie. They were literally so close and I interrupted them by calling Mishi.

"Why did you do that?," asked Lan Zhan.

"That way they will be more confused and want to learn more about each other," reasoned Lau Lan.

"So, they all want them to get close? I've to execute my plan before they two actually get closed. I don't know why this Mark gets on my nerves. I've to teach him a good lesson so that he will no longer put his nose in between Xian and me," thought Bai.

She then walked to them and happily said, "What an occasion! You all are happy after such a long time. It's rare to see you all like this. Won't you share your happiness with me? After all I'm also a part of this family."

The colour of their faces went off as Bai came there. "You aren't the part of our family and will never be. You have no right to be involved in our happiness. You were the reason Xian was in dismay for 6 years. You ruin the lives of the people so just go away from here," Yin angrily said.

Bai started laughing and all got confused. She then stopped and slapped Yin hard. Mark and others stood up. "I think you are forgetting that you're a murderer who was forgiven by Mishi," yelled Bai at her.

Mark came forward. "Apologize to her," muttered Mark.

"Why should I? Huh- this time I won't spare you all. How dare she tell me that I ruin lives? I'll now ruin your life, Yin. Be ready to be thrown out of this house by Xian. You came to me saying that you want to throw out Mishi from Xian's life. Mishi is a great soul who forgave you but you know I'm not," shouted Bai at her and then walked upstairs to Xian's room.

Yin started crying. Biyu caressed her back and told her not to listen to her words. Mark took Yin away from there to her room. "Mom, you should also go to your room," suggested Lau. Biyu nodded and left from there.

"What now?," asked Lan Zhan looking at Lau.

"Nothing. Let's see what she'll do?," murmured Lau Lan.

"Danzae has found a man who was on that bridge a few minutes ago. The man saw a truck going that way. Mei Fen has also been involved in the investigation by Danzae," said Lan Zhan.

"Let's go to the room. I've to tell you something," said Lau Lan to Lan Zhan, leaving the living room. Xian just then entered the house and went to her mother's room first to check on her and then went upstairs.

As he entered he saw Bai who was sitting on his bed, crying. He was confused seeing her when Bai immediately wiped off her tears. "Xian, you came back. I was waiting for you since long," said Bai in a low voice.

Xian walked to her and asked, "why are you crying?"

"I'm just worried that your family won't accept me ever as your other half," stated Bai and then got up from the bed. "Leave it, such things happen in a house. The most important thing is you love me," said Bai hugging Xian tightly.

Xian didn't say anything. "Xian, you won't leave me right? The day you got into the accident I was so scared. It felt like I lost you. Didn't you notice that day I came late?," muttered Bai.

Xian released her grip from him and then told her not to cry. "What happened? Did someone say something to you?," questioned Xian.

"The day you got into the accident, Yin told me that I'm the reason for your condition. I take the lives of the people. Today also they told me the same thing. They all were accusing me," said Bai while showing her fake tears.

"Yin said this?," asked Xian with an unbelievable look.

"You think I'm lying?," asked Bai.

"No, I mean…" Bai cut his words and said, "Don't you know she always loved you. She never was happy with my relationship with you. She always wanted to be with you but you always treated her as a friend. Fine, Xian I understand she's your friend. I'll gulp this thing down my throat which she told me- that I take lives." Bai tried gaining Xian's sympathy.

"Bai, I'll talk to her. Don't be sad about this. I'm tired so I wanted some rest. You should go to your room. We will talk at dinner time," Xian assured Bai, which made her happy.

Bai nodded and left from there. As soon as she came out she said, "woah! I'm good at acting. Yin, I'll now throw you out of this house at any cost." Saying this she smiled evilly.

Xian in the room was thinking about his memory. "Bai is lying to me and all the other members in my house. What is exactly going on? I have to find the truth as soon as possible before Bai will do something," murmured Xian.
