The Revenge Turned To Love

Mishi and Xian both pulled away from each other. "Xian, do you remember the time when you were struggling with Maximus?" Mishi queried him. 

"Yes. It was a tough period but then your father invested for the first time," stated Xian. 

"Yes. Do you know what my father told me the day he invested in your business?" Mishi asked him. 

Xian shook his head in refusal. "He said there is a young boy who is working hard with his brother for two years to make the company grow. His approach is the most wonderful thing I ever encountered in business. That is why I decided to help him. I want to see where he takes his company," stated Mishi. She cupped his face in her soft hands.

"Xian, I know what is going on in your mind. You are thinking of giving upon your CEO position to save everyone. But you do not need to do that. Propose your model on which you and Mark were working for months," said Mishi. 

"But Mishi if we will do that at this time then the profit margin will be less," asserted Mark. Mishi released her hands from Xian's face and said, "I know. Let's bear this loss but we will gain the support of many builders. They will come forward to invest on this project at low costs which they won't find in any corporation," pronounced Mishi. 

"Mishi is saying absolutely right. That project is the key thing which can save Maximus and bring out Maximus from this drastic situation," stated Xian. 

"I will fund the project. Do not refuse for this because I am doing this as a business partner," declared Yuwan. Mishi grabbed Xian's hand who looked at her. "Let's do it," Xian then said. Mark came forward and they all have a group hug. Pulling away from each other Xian turned to Mishi and told her to go home. 

"I will go when things will turn right. I will work by your side until everything got back to the track," proclaimed Mishi with a warm smile on her lips. They all then went to the conference room which was on the 7th floor. They had decided to go for a live broadcast for the project launching.

Li Wei along with the other assistants set up the live broadcasting equipment in the conference hall. The screen was properly adjusted. Oppositely, Xian in the dressing room was getting ready when Mishi went in and took the tie from the drawer. "You are going to do your best in a while," Mishi said softly. She then tucked the tie on Xian's shirt. Xian leaned towards Mishi's lips and kissed them. Parting from her, he said, "Thank you again. You are with me – that's the biggest support for me."

"Let's go out. Everything is ready," said Mishi. Xian nodded and they came out of the room. 

Li Wei put the microphone on the Xian's blazer. "Maximus is going for live broadcast for the first time," Li Wei said. "All the best," he said and stepped back.

The bright lights fell onto Xian and the producer told him to start. The presentation was displayed on the white screen. Xian started with a formal greet and then started telling about the model on which his team was working upon for months. Mark and Li Wei were looking at the viewership ratings for them on the live screen. 

As the time passed, Xian went into the depth of the model, the small builders response started coming. Xian tried to maintain the presentation crisp and upto the point so that it would seem entertaining rather than boring. 

As soon as he finished everyone clapped for him. He smiled at them and asked Mark about the response. 

"It is not that great for now. We have wait for some hours to get the response from them," replied Mark. Xian nodded and looked at the employees who were working on the computers. They waited till evening in hope more responses will come. 

"I think it will take time as our name is disdained in the market," stated Mark. Xian's phone rang when he saw the name on the screen. "Uncle Yaixi," he mumbled and answered the call. Mishi looked at Xian who was on call with her uncle. After a minute, he cut the call and looked at Mishi. 

"Uncle is investing along with many of his business partners," Xian said with teary eyes. 

"What?" Mishi exclaimed.

"Sir, our emails are flooding with the mails of small builders," said an employee named Ethan Luo with a smile. Mark went with him to look at the computer. 

"Xian, these are thousands of mails at once. Oh my goodness!" Mark said with a broad smile.

"Xian, one of our investors also interested in this project. He wants to talk with you, right away," stated Yuwan and handed him the phone. "He is on the call," he stated. Xian put the phone near his ear and started talking with the investor. 

After he was done, he looked at Yuwan. "He wants to invest a huge amount of money," Xian said and thanked him. 

"Don't thank me. You got the investment because of this extraordinary model," stated Yuwan with a smile and patted his shoulder. "Xian, our debts will clear off in just a week if all these tiny builders invest in this project," asserted Mark. The employees started clapping there when Mishi sneaked out from there. 

Hu Shen was calling her. She answered the call. "You said you won't call me because I will come there, begging to you to save my husband's company," muttered Mishi. 

"You are smart. I did not thought Xian had such a project in his company but you see the highest is done by me just a minute ago, thus, making me the top investor of that project. If I will pull away the investment then-"

"You do not need to pull away because I will tell Xian not to accept it. We do not want to work with you Hu Shen. Now, never ever try calling me. Keep this in mind that you can never separate Mishi from Xian," pronounced Mishi and cut the call. She turned to go when she saw Yuwan there, looking at her. 

"I am proud of you," Yuwan said with a broad white teeth smile.
