The Revenge Turned To Love

Zhao was reading a file, sitting on a swivel chair in his cabinet when he got a call. He looked at the phone and saw Chang's number. "Why is he calling me?" Zhao wondered and answered the call.

"Hello, Chang. You called after a long time. How are you?" Zhao asked, putting the file on the desk. 

"Hello Brother. I am good. How are you?" Chang asked. 

"I am also good," replied Zhao. 

"Brother, I want to meet you. When you will be free?" Chang asked. 

"I am free now. Is something urgent?" Zhao asked. 

"Yes, there is something important I have to talk about with you. Brother, do not let anyone see you when you will come to meet me at Yellow Café. I am waiting for you there," Chang asserted. 

"Okay. I am coming," Zhao replied and hung up the call. He called his secretary to tell him that he was going out to meet the client with whom he was starting the new project. Picking his blazer, he left for the Yellow café house. 

In twenty minutes, he reached there and parked his car. As he entered in, he saw Chang was sitting around a round table, far from the window side. Chang got up from the chair as he saw Zhao there and waved at him. Zhao smiled and went to him. They both shook hands with each other and sat on the chairs. "Which coffee do you want to take?" Zhao asked. 

"Americano," replied Zhao. Chang told him to wait there and went to the counter. He gave the orders there and in a minute, came to the table where they were sitting. Sitting on the chair, Zhao asked him why did he call him and then called in the café which was quite isolated from the city. 

"Actually brother, there is something you should know. I want your help too in that matter," asserted Chang. 

"What do you want to tell me?" Zhao asked him curiously and sipped the Americano. 

"Do you know your father is a well known Mafia not with his original name but an alias- 'The Tiger'?" Chang asked Zhao straight away without beating around the bush. Hearing that Zhao straightened his back and gazed into Chang's eyes. "What are you saying? My father is a Mafia? I think you are having a misunderstanding. He is the owner of world class Hotels and Restaurants," asserted Zhao and laughed. 

Chang clasped his fingers together and placed his hands at the table. "Means you don't know! He even fooled his own son. Do you know he was the reason Sisi never found a stable job? Don't tell me you don't know because you started distancing yourself after sometime," stated Chang. 

"I am sorry for that. It is because I left the home and he thought Mishi was the reason of it. So, he made sure not to let her be hired by anyone," stated Zhao. "But when she met-"

"But he did not able to do such a thing with brother Xian. I would say he did not contact him, why? If you had known that he was the one who was making our lives miserable you would have gone to your house a long ago but you did not do anything, why?" Chang queried him.

Zhao took a deep breath. "That's because I found out about this later… very late. Like she had married Xian and then I found about this. Since you know this then I will tell you. Zhu Rui, my wife, was the one who informed dad about my life outside the house. She even told him that I am close to Mishi. That's why he did so. I am really sorry for that," Zhao asserted and lowered his eyes.

"You are wrong. Your wife was not the one who did that. It was her cousin brother Gan Dewei. Do you even know what your father is doing? How did he build this large empire of his?" Chang questioned him. Zhao confusedly looked at him. "It cannot be true. I know my father has done wrong to Mishi and you two but he cannot-"

Chang cut Zhao's words in the middle. "Brother, your father has killed many innocents," Chang pronounced.

"Chang, I don't know what Gan Dewei told you but he is a notorious guy even Zhu Rui says that after her mother's death he became like that," stated Zhao.

Chang sneered at Zhao. "Your father killed the father of a girl who has no one left. Gan Dewei is one of his men who works for him. Why? Because he has threatened him as well that he will kill her sister," Chang stated.

"What?" Zhao exclaimed with a shocking look.

"Your father never told you about this and never let you know about this. He started those hotels to prevent that wrong work because of which his empire was built. Because of him many innocents lost their lives and their loved ones are suffering till now. I know it will be hard to believe that your own father has done such things but this is the biggest truth of your father.

In a week, a hearing is going to happen and Gan Dewei will be accused of the crimes he had never done but he can't say anything because of his sister. I want your help in gathering the evidence against Lee Shan Bin and only you can do it," Chang pronounced.

Zhao knitted his brows in confusion. "I do not know what to say? I have never once noticed anything wrong from his side and he was the one who wanted me to marry Zhu Rui then why would he kill her? I mean… I still cannot believe without any proof," asserted Zhao.

"Brother, if I had the evidence then everything would be sorted out in split of a second. I would have never accused your father with no reason. Bit I don't have any evidence right at this moment that's why I asked you to help," Chang opined. Zhao looked at him but he was confused after hearing such acquisitions against his father.
