The Revenge Turned To Love

Chapter 272 - Forgive Me

Mishi got a call from Xian who was helping Samuel in the studies. She got up from the bed and picked the phone from sofa table. Putting it near her ear she asked Xian why he called during his working time.

"Mishi, Chang is injured. Not that much but a little bit," Xian said from the other side.

"What?" Mishi exclaimed. Fear ran her entire body and her hands started trembling. "Wh- what happened to Chang? Where is he?" Mishi asked him with a trembled voice.

"He is in the hospital. I am taking him home. Don't worry. He is absolutely fine. I informed you because I thought you might see it from news and I don't want that. We are coming home," Xian replied from the other side.

"Okay, I am waiting," Mishi said and cut the call. Samuel, who was sitting on the bed saw Mishi's tensed face. "What happened, Mommy?" Samuel asked her. Mishi turned to look at him. "Nothing, my child," she said as she wiped her eyes, not wanted Sam to notice the tears in her eyes.

She walked to him and embraced him in a warm hug. Samuel too wrapped his tiny hands around his mother. "Is dad okay, mommy?" Sam asked.

"Hmm. He is okay. He is coming home," Mishi told him as she caressed Sam's head lovingly. She released him and then told him to continue studying as she was going downstairs. "Okay, mommy," replied Samuel. Mishi ruffled his hair and went down the bed. Walking out of the room, she saw Yin in the living hall and told her to look after Sam. Yin nodded and went upstairs while Mishi went outside the house, waiting for Xian's car to come there.

She was walking back and forth, looking for Xian's car. After waiting there for 15 minutes, she saw Xian's car coming there. As it halted, she went to the backdoor. Without waiting for even a second, she pulled the door to open it. "Mishi," Mark called her name as he stepped down the car followed by Chang whose lips were bruised.

"Sisi," he murmured when Mishi lifted her hand cupped his face in her hands. "How did this happen? You never fight then?" she said and saw Chang's one hand was on his stomach. "You are injured there too," she asked with a tensed look.

Xian came out of the car and stood near Mishi. "Let's go in. You can ask him there. He needs rest," Xian stated. Mishi nodded and they came inside the house. Sitting on the couch, Mishi asked Chang again how he was injured.

"Sisi, I- the thing is" he wasn't able to speak as he didn't know how would he tell his sister about the truth of their parents' demise when Xian spoke, "Mishi, don't be angry, okay. Chang was working on the case where he has to-"

"You again worked on that? Last time Xian got hurt and this time you. Can't you understand my words? Why are still behind that case?" Mishi shouted at him. As an elder sister, her anger was obvious. Chang and Chunhua are the most precious to her. "You never used to defy me. What has happened to you now? Do you not consider me your sister anymore?" Mishi angrily asked him.

"Sisi," Chang murmured and lowered his eyes.

"Mishi, first listen to him. Don't get angry at him. He is injured and-"

"Xian, you should not come between siblings. He needs a scolding. He never acted this way instead, he is smart and decisive. How come is he acting like this?" Mishi muttered in anger.

"Sisi, you are going wrong. I only listen to you. First listen to me. I was finding our parents' murderers," Chang replied, looking into her eyes.

"What?" Mishi exclaimed in surprise. "But wasn't it done by Lui Lan?" Mishi asked him.

"No. Lee Shan Bin, father of Zhao Bin did that," Chang answered. Mishi was stunned and shocked to hear that.

"What are you saying?" Mishi queried him confusedly. Chang then narrated her the entire incident. "Sisi, he was the one who killed our parents," Chang said and started crying. Mishi got up from her seat and embraced him. She was crying too. "But isn't this happened because of me? Dad refused the marriage and – and" her voice choked and she started crying profusely.

Forthwith, Xian went near to her and stood behind her. He wrapped his hand around Mishi. "It wasn't your fault. Who knew thing like this would happened?" Xian muttered and then put his hand on her head. "Stop crying," he said and put his other hand on Chang's head. "Stop crying you both." Chang rested his head Xian's stomach while Mishi rested her head on his chest.

"I miss them a lot. I wish I could be older then I would have saved them. Our parents did nothing wrong and they have to lose their lives, brother," Chang said while sobbing. Mark patted Chang's back, telling him to calm down. But he wasn't able to. Mishi wiped off the tears from her cheeks and bent on her knees.

She grabbed Chang's face, placing her hands on either side of his face. Wiping the tears from his face she said, "You did so much for Chun and I. You are an older brother to us. Don't cry because it hurts your sisters. Today they both will be happy, seeing their son. The son who brought the truth upfront and took care of his both sisters," Mishi stated and planted a soft kiss on his forehead.

Leaning back, she wiped his face from the back of her palm. "Chang, Sisi," they heard the voice of Chunhua. They all turned to look at her who came running to them. Chang and Mishi got up when Chunhua hugged Chang tightly. "How can you get hurt? My heart sank when I saw the news," Chunhua stated and tightened her grip around Chang.

"Sorry. You always used to say to me that I don't do fights so I thought to pick one," Chang joked. Mark, Mishi and Xian laughed at his joke when Chunhua hit him hard on his stomach. "Ahh," Chang screamed in pain. "I'm injured there, Chun," he complained.

"Oh! Forgive me for hurting you there but you did wrong. You made your both sisters worry," muttered Chunhua and crossed her arms.

"Forgive me," he said and then hugged his both sisters.
