The Revenge Turned To Love

Chapter 295 - Don't Ruin Our Brotherly Relationship

Mark came to the roof and saw Xian was sitting on the floor, his back was rested the railings as his eyes were closed. Mark saw the broken phone of Xian lying at the floor. He went to Xian and sat beside him. "Lan Zhan told me everything," Mark said.

"He is going nuts. I told him not to tell anyone the lies," Xian said, his eyes were still closed and Mark could feel the in Xian's eyes.

"Xian, Lan Zhan, I and Lau Lan we three never had the parents. We were abandoned by our families from birth. We empathize with your pain more than anyone," Mark proclaimed.

"If he had abandoned me when I was just born then it would not have been hurting me this much. At least, I do not have to remember those painful memories. I remembered the day when I was at the hospital bed. I was in half unconscious state and I can hear the conversation of that doctor with mom.

He was asking her where was her husband as some medicines and injections were to be purchased. Doctor was telling her that if I would be saved then that would be a miracle. I heard my mom's cries, her sobs. But I thought he was busy somewhere and would come. But he did not.

If what Lan Zhan was saying is truth then my father should have told mom and not to left her in the middle. When he returned home, the first word he said that I….I should have been died in that hospital." Xian paused as his voiced got heavy. He gulped and lowered his eyes.

"He could have said something else but why that only? In my class, kids used to tell how their fathers gave them gift but what did my father gave me? Such a curse!

They used to fight earlier but I had never thought that I was the reason of their fights. I wanted to kill him so badly but… but for mom I stopped myself. Even if he was blackmailed then why did he fight with mom those days?" Xian muttered and wiped the tears off his eyes and cheeks.

"Xian, you were a kid back then so, maybe you could not understand the things. I know you have suffered a lot because of those incidents but what about mom? She spent her entire life in us. Don't you think mom has the right to enjoy her life? Most importantly she still loves your father. Maybe the misunderstandings are too huge that we aren't able to shoo them away till now.

As the second son of Biyu Zhang, I can only advice you to meet your father and clear these misunderstandings not for us but for you and mom," Mark asserted as he peered into the eyes of Xian.

"Mom also hates him so, there is nothing left. Let those misunderstandings be there," Xian replied and averted his gaze from Mark.

Mark chuckled. "You are an ignorant son. How could you never find that mom misses your father a lot," Mark pronounced. "She looks at your photos with your father. The day she met your father, she was indeed angry but at the same time she was happy. She was so desperate to meet him but she stopped herself because of you." Mark was trying his best to make understand Xian that he was doing wrong with the three lives.

"Mark, don't ruin our brotherly relationship because of my father. I know mom more than you. I hope this answered your questions towards my this behavior. That man is not worthy of anyone especially my mother. She pleaded him not to leave us but what he did?" Xian questioned and again tears started pouring his eyes.

Biyu and Shui Zhang could be seen sitting inside a café. There was an awkward silence between the two when Biyu initiated the conversation. "Thank you for the other day," Biyu told Shui Zhang.

"I did my duty as a citizen," replied Shui Zhang.

"No," stated Biyu. Shui Zhang looked at her and then averted his gaze. "You did you what a husband does. That day we did not divorce each other and you just left us. Why did you hide such a big truth from your own wife?" Biyu asked as tears formed in her eyes.

"What are you talking about?" Shui Zhang muttered and then picked his keypad phone from the table. Biyu looked at his hands which were dried up which clearly showed he did not look after himself all these years.

"I must leave. I have got work to do," muttered Shui and stood up the chair.

"I miss you," Biyu said. Shui Zhang halted. "I wanted to say this that day as well but you left. Shui, let's tell Xian the truth," Biyu stated.

"Don't take his name in front of me. Don't you know how much I hate him?" Shui Zhang angrily said. "I don't want to tell anyone anything. Never ever try to find me because I do not miss you two. I am happy in my life," Shui muttered and at the same time he clenched his fists.

"Why? Why are you again abandoning us? This time when things can turn right you must embrace us. You must come to us and say that you missed us. Do you know the words that you say to Xian in anger that day engraved in his heart. To save your son, you risked your life then why do you resist the truth? Today, Xian and I have everything except you: a father and a husband.

Clear your misunderstandings with him and tell him how much you love your son. For him you accepted this life full of miseries and I know when you will tell the truth-"

Shui Zhang cut Biyu's words in the middle. "Biyu, there is only truth that I do not want to get close to him neither I want to get closer to you. I don't want to be harsh because as a mother you will feel bad hearing about your son," Shui Zhang pronounced and left the café.
