The Rise of Purple Phoenix

The northern mountains were the coldest place in the country. As Lloyd climbed, temperature decreased rapidly.

Normal earth stage cultivator would be frozen to death. Because of his bloodline, Lloyd didn't feel uncomfortable and continued without a problem in this temperature.

The snow below his feet increased and it became difficult to move.

Lloyd could see crystal bear at sometimes and he would bypass it without alerting it.

The journey was difficult for Lloyd. This was the first time, he did something like this. Before he was at his home entire his life.

As he climbed, air become thinned as the amount of oxygen in the air decreased. He rested for some time as it took some time to adjust to the environment.

As he climbed, he finally reached the location of the cave. As he looked inside, he found that the entrance was sealed by ice.

He came forward to the cave and touched the ice sealing the cave.

As soon as he touched the ice, it retreated as it was alive and made room for Lloyd to enter.

"what the hell?" Lloyd said as he entered the cave.

The ice sealed the entrance as soon as entered.

Lloyd looked back as he sighed and thought, 'Now, there is no way to retreat'

The path of the cave was big enough to fit a carriage. As he walked deeper into the cave. The temperature decreased as he could see ice forming on his skin.

Till now, he maintained the temperature using his bloodline but now it was not enough.

Lloyd started to circulate his qi around his body as he saw ice melt and he felt little better.

'what's going on here? Why is it freezing here?' Lloyd thought.

From what he knows, temperature trends to be higher in the cave than outside but here it was the opposite.

After walking sometimes, Lloyd reached a large room. He saw a small mountain in the middle of the room.

As he walked in, he saw the mountain shake and it started to move.

Lloyd looked carefully and found out that the mountain is actually a beast. He looked at the beast's rank through the system.

"HOLLLLLY SHIIIIIITTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Lloyd screamed. He almost shitted his pant.

The thing before him was a Rank 7 beast.

Rank 4 beast has the power equal to a heaven stage cultivator. But the beast before him was 3 ranks above heaven stage. How terrifying is that?

"what are you?" a voice resounded in the cave.

"you look like a human but not human"

"your bloodline purity even rivals the Phoenix but you aren't a phoenix"

Lloyd was still in shock by the beast's rank when he heard the voice. He managed to stabilize his feelings after a few attempts.

"shouldn't you introduce yourself before asking about others" Lloyd tried to muster up courage and answer but his voice was low and still contained fear.

"And are you the one who called me here?" Lloyd asked for confirmation. He wanted to complete his mission.

"yes," the voice said.

The beast before him was a giant bird. It was deep blue in color. It was the ice phoenix. He saw its picture number of times.

Ice Phoenix and fire phoenix appearance were same except for its color.

Lloyd was surprised that he was called here by the ice phoenix itself. If anyone from ice phoenix clan finds that ice phoenix was present here. They may even come running and prostrate and worship it.

Ice Phoenix turns and looked at Lloyd with its glittering blue eyes.

His face came forwards and examined Lloyd carefully. Lloyd felt as he was naked and Phoenix saw everything about him.

"My name is Eira," the ice phoenix said.
