My name is Claude, Claude Jami. Due to being great at what I do, I’m a well-known bandit within our local, remote area. I don’t mean to toot my own horn but I’m pretty strong. Hella strong, even. I can beat an average adventurer using only a single arm. 

Today, while I was having a good time robbing a carriage, something unexpected happened. One of the carriage passengers, a young lady who looked well-bred, threatened to beat me and my friends up.

She mentioned a skill called [Heater].

“It’s probably just some lousy skill that warms things up or something.” (Bandit)

“Just so you know, our leader’s skill is called [Explosive Fist]. His fist is packed with such an enormous amount of magic power that even a single punch can become lethal!” (Bandit)

Us bandits make a living using sheer strength. All of my friends are capable men who have fought hundreds of battles. I have triumphed against all of my opponents using my [Explosive Fist], there’s no way a weak-looking girl would be able to beat me.

As I was laughing with my friends, the young girl crouched closer to the ground.

But things turned out beyond my expectations.

Slave trading is actually a very lucrative business. I only need to provide weapons for myself and my friends, as well as compensation for them. 

While I was mentally calculating how much this young lady would be worth…

A loud, deafening noise.

I was hurled back due to the blast before I knew it. Then, I hit my against a tree, taking my breath away.

What, what, what?!

What happened?!!

“Leader got hit! What the hell is going on?” (Bandit)

"Damn, is she a magician?” (Other Bandit)

"You bastard! Don’t underestimate the Jami household!” (Other Other Bandit)

My friends shouted loudly when they realized I had been blasted off.

I can’t believe I got too arrogant and let my guard down. What an idiot. But regardless of how many moves she has in store, we have the numerical advantage. She doesn’t stand a chance against my friends’ simultaneous attac–

Kaboom!

Baaaaaaaaaaam!

Zugaaaaan!

It was horrible to watch. My friends were mercilessly blasted even before they had the chance to attack.

A nightmare. This is a nightmare.

We were demolished by a young lady with a mere [Heater Skill].

When I came back to my senses, I was tied up and thrown into a village prison.

Then something shocking happened. To our surprise, our rival bandit group was thrown into the same prison as us a week later. A senior bandit (aniki) from the group Gale, an intimidating jerk, and even Valiant Asseker. The village was filled with bandits after only a short amount of time. Moreover, every new inmate claimed that the young girl and her maid were the ones who put them in prison.

The black-haired young lady earned the title ‘Bandit Slayer’

People also started to call her the [Scorching Witch].
