The Second Empire of Azeroth

#113 - The Purpose of Tichondrius

“Boom!”

A large hole exploded in the deck of the Arathor, and Anatheron flew into the sky from the hole.

He didn't fly up on his own; he was knocked up by someone.

Reaching the highest point, Anatheron began to fall. He hurriedly flapped his tattered wings to steady himself.

Anatheron looked down in horror. He had cast six or seven spells at Roger and Arathor, but none of them could break through Roger's magic shield.

Roger, with just one punch, sent him flying out of the ship's cabin.

Roger's strength was already irresistible. Anatheron turned and ran.

However, before he could fly far, Roger's Arcane Hand grabbed him back.

Anatheron transformed into a swarm of bats, breaking free from the Arcane Hand.

Just as the bats were about to scatter, Roger teleported over, unleashing his full arcane power, enveloping all the bats.

Arcane power formed a whirlwind around Roger, grinding all the bats into powder.

The spell was broken, and Anatheron's figure was revealed.

His body was tattered and torn, and he looked at Roger in fear, "Rogers, please stop!"

Roger tilted his head and looked at him.

“I know it's useless to say anything now!” Anatheron said hurriedly, “But aren't you curious why I had to attack the Arathor?”

“Tell me!” Roger gave him a chance.

Anatheron said, “This is all a plot by my master, Kil'jaeden.

He wants to capture your family to coerce you into joining the Burning Legion.”

“I guessed it!” Roger said indifferently, “If you can't say anything useful, you can die.”

Anatheron waved his hand hurriedly, “Lord Rogers, if you don't kill me, I can help you gather information about the Legion.”

Roger raised his eyebrows, somewhat tempted.

Just then, the inside of Khadgar's Fortress suddenly became restless. Roger looked at Anatheron with a cold face, “Are you stalling for time?”

“No, I didn't—”

But Roger didn't give him a chance to explain. Arcane power directly tore Anatheron's body apart, sending him back to the Twisting Nether.

After killing Anatheron, Roger landed on the deck.

[Killed Dreadlord Anatheron, Arcane Master level increased. Gained skill: Blood Siphon Aura]

Blood Siphon Aura: Passive skill, life magic, within the aura range, you can intercept part of the life force lost by the enemy to restore the injuries of yourself and your allies.

Interesting!

Aurelia walked over, “Has something happened in Khadgar's Fortress?”

Roger nodded, casually patched the hole in the deck, and then said, “I'll go see what happened.”

Aurelia nodded, she was a little worried.

There were many treasures of Dalaran inside Khadgar's Fortress. If the demons stole them, who knows what kind of storm would arise.

When Roger teleported to Khadgar's Fortress, the castle was already in chaos.

The thorn beasts raised by the mages were running around, but the mages couldn't care less about them, and were all looking for the enemies who had sneaked in.

“What happened?” Roger stopped a few mages and asked.

The mages saw Roger and hurriedly saluted.

“Lord Rogers, the demons stole the Book of Medivh.” The mages said in panic.

The Book of Medivh contained many dangerous spells, opening the Dark Portal was just one of them.

So the mages were very panicked. They had to retrieve the Book of Medivh, otherwise they would not be able to explain to Khadgar.

Roger was not surprised at all. The demons were very persistent about the Book of Medivh.

Later, they even directed the undead army to break through Dalaran and seize the Book of Medivh, and then summoned Archimonde.

What's going on?

Sargeras, with such strong strength, didn't have other ways to summon?

Couldn't he just write a spell book himself and let the Dreadlords bring it over?

It had been said before that it was to summon Archimonde.

If that's the case, then Kil'jaeden replaced Ner'zhul with someone else to become the Lich King.

That is to say, history corrected itself, Kel'Thuzad would inevitably spread the Scourge plague, Arthas would eventually fall, Lordaeron would inevitably be destroyed, the high elves would inevitably suffer disaster, and Sylvanas would inevitably die!

Roger's face turned cold. The so-called historical correction theory was just someone pushing it behind the scenes.

Now Roger was even more certain that someone must be at work for him to stay in the river of time for so long.

The mastermind behind the scenes did not dare to face Roger directly, and could only tamper with the river of time.

Roger sneered in his heart: I'll see what you're capable of!

Tichondrius teleported back to the demon camp, flipping through the Book of Medivh in his hand with satisfaction.

Anatheron's death was his inescapable responsibility, but with the Book of Medivh, he believed that the master would not pursue his responsibility.

After all, with the Book of Medivh, the master's next plan could be carried out.

An eredar mage teleported over, “Lord Tichondrius, Khadgar is leading the mages to attack this way.”

Tichondrius rolled his eyes, “You lead the people to block Khadgar and hold the position.”

After speaking, he teleported away directly.

The eredar mage was a little dazed, but Tichondrius's order could not be disobeyed.

He could only bite the bullet and direct the demons to fight.

Then the mages who lost the Book of Medivh did not care about their own casualties at all, and chose the most powerful spells, not hesitating to perish together with the demons.

Khadgar was like an enraged lion, his hair disheveled, his eyes bloodshot, and every spell used the maximum mana, pursuing a quick battle and quick resolution.

“Boom—”

The huge fireball cleared the demons in front of him. Khadgar immediately rushed forward along the cleared path, ignoring the demons next to him.

Because the mages would help him block the demons on both sides, and Roger was behind him to protect him.

Roger shook his head helplessly. According to the Dreadlord's character, Tichondrius had already run away.

Khadgar must also know, but he was unwilling.

Just right, Roger also planned to capture the demon camp and end this unnecessary war.

With Khadgar charging forward, he was happy to clear the obstacles for him from behind.

Sargeras's Scepter was waved, and one magic explosion after another was thrown to the place with the most demons.

Although killing these low-level demons did not give any experience, Roger was still constantly mowing the grass.

Reality is not a game. The more demons he killed, the more mages he would save, and the more sparks the Alliance could retain.

The Scourge was about to appear, and Azeroth would once again fall into crisis.

Preserving more sparks in Draenor would allow it to recover faster in the future.

Under the leadership of the mages, the Alliance advanced triumphantly, directly capturing the demon camp transformed by the mana furnace Ella.

At this time, the demon's fel cannons had not yet been completed, all the demon craftsmen were slaughtered by the Allied forces, and the materials for manufacturing the fel cannons were all taken into the Alliance's bag.
