The Second Empire of Azeroth

#140 - Fire Divinity

The entire Molten Core was covered in lava, leaving Roger with nowhere to step. However, he remained calm, directly Blinked to Exeuctus's mountain, used Arcane Hand to grab its neck, and forced it to float above the lava.

Ragnaros angrily hurled the Hammer of Sulfuron, directly smashing Exeuctus to death.

Roger Blinked into the air and cast Levitate on himself. He looked at Exeuctus's corpse with regret, "What a waste of a mount!"

Ragnaros roared, "Damn mortal!"

Countless flames erupted from the lava, rushing towards Roger in the air.

However, before the flames could reach Roger, he used the heat from the lava to leave his original position.

The flames transformed into fire dragons and pursued him. Roger weaved and dodged in the air, using Blink whenever he couldn't avoid them. Moreover, he continuously attacked Ragnaros with the Thunderfury sword. Although each strike was insignificant to Ragnaros, the accumulated damage gradually took its toll.

Ragnaros had absorbed much of Thunderaan's power, which was originally under Ragnaros's control. However, after being struck by the Thunderfury sword's lightning, these wind elemental powers seemed to awaken, wanting to break free from Ragnaros's control and return to the Thunderfury sword. How could Ragnaros relinquish these wind elements? This would not only weaken him but also strengthen Roger.

However, as more and more wind elements were awakened, Ragnaros's control began to fail.

The wind elements began to detach from Ragnaros's body, surging into the Thunderfury sword. Ragnaros's size began to shrink, and the Thunderfury sword's power grew stronger.

With this ebb and flow, Ragnaros couldn't help but feel terrified.

He knew he couldn't delay any longer; otherwise, he would be worn to death by Roger.

Thinking of this, Ragnaros recalled the Hammer of Sulfuron and slammed it hard on the ground. Countless flames rose from the lava, surging towards Roger from all directions.

Faced with this all-encompassing attack, Roger finally couldn't dodge.

He immediately cast a Mana Shield on himself and then Blinked directly behind Ragnaros. He leaped high, using gravity to jump towards Ragnaros, and plunged the Thunderfury sword into its body.

"Rumble--"

Countless lightning bolts rampaged within Ragnaros's body, constantly tearing at it. Ragnaros's body was, after all, elemental and not as stable as a flesh-and-blood body. Under the violent lightning attacks, the struck areas immediately turned into balls of flame, blasting Roger away.

Roger fell into the lava, instantly activating Flame Body. The Grandmaster-level Flame Body still couldn't survive in the lava. Roger used the remaining skill points to upgrade Flame Body to the Legendary level, and the lava was no longer a threat to Roger.

He Blinked again, activated Gale Steps in mid-air, and crashed into that "wound."

Ragnaros was extremely surprised; he hadn't expected Roger to dare enter his body. He knew that the flames within his body were hotter than lava and could burn any living being to death.

However, Roger not only entered but also thrived.

He infused Arcane Energy into the Thunderfury sword, which, through the sword's conversion, formed a violent lightning storm.

Gales and lightning continuously tore at Ragnaros's body, and Ragnaros howled in pain.

He could no longer maintain his body. Countless flames poured out of the places broken by lightning, and Ragnaros's power grew weaker and weaker.

"Damn mortal! I won't spare you!"

After leaving behind a harsh threat, Ragnaros's body collapsed and was banished back to the elemental plane.

The elements of Azeroth are very similar to demons. Demons can only be killed in the Twisting Nether, and elements can only be destroyed in the elemental plane.

Roger only destroyed Ragnaros's projection, and even that took a great deal of effort. If he faced the real Ragnaros, Roger would have no way to win.

[Killed Fire Lord Ragnaros, Fire Affinity increased, Fire Resistance increased, obtained Fire Divinity]

Fire Divinity?

Roger was a little surprised; this reward was somewhat unexpected. He knew that even Ragnaros hadn't mastered much Fire Divinity. If Roger mastered Fire Divinity, he could completely enter the Fire Elemental Plane and completely kill Ragnaros.

However, seeing "Extremely Weak" in the status bar, Roger abandoned this unrealistic idea.

He began to collect the remaining Essence of the Fire Lord from Ragnaros because it was an important material for crafting the Hand of Ragnaros.

As for the other material, it was the Hammer of Sulfuron left behind by Ragnaros. This Hammer of Sulfuron was mostly forged from black iron ore, but it also contained a large number of rare ores, such as Thorium, Elementium Ore, and so on.

As Roger collected the Essence of the Fire Lord, he unexpectedly discovered that the Fire Divinity was increasing little by little.

It seemed that this Essence of the Fire Lord was the embodiment of Fire Divinity.

Roger suddenly felt sorry for those players. After they killed Ragnaros, they gave the Essence of the Fire Lord to that elf, which was a huge loss.

As the Fire Divinity continued to increase, the Blademaster Yi actually began to level up again, stopping only at level 70. Moreover, his Flame Body actually improved to the Mythic level.

This was his first Mythic-level skill.

Moreover, as the Fire Divinity continued to increase, the power of Flame Body also increased. If he continued to enhance Fire Divinity like this, he might be able to sweep across Azeroth with just Flame Body.

Roger finished collecting all the Essence of the Fire Lord and then put away the Hammer of Sulfuron. He glanced at the Molten Core, which was full of magma, and thought that perhaps he could build a permanent crystal charging device here. That way, he wouldn't lack power for the Apexis Tank in the future.

A steel torrent was just around the corner!

Thinking of doing it, Roger created a huge charging device and then connected it to the outside, placing hundreds of crystals for charging. At the current rate, a batch of crystals could be replaced every two days.

After finishing, Roger walked out of the Molten Core.

The Red Dragon Squad saw Roger come out and ran over quickly.

"Your Excellency, are you alright?"

"I'm fine!" Roger shook his head, looking at the mess on the ground. Was this what Ragnaros had done?

The Red Dragon Squad said, "Powerful flames erupted just now, and we lost dozens of Orcs."

"Lost is lost!" Roger didn't care about the lives of the Orcs. He told the Red Dragon Squad about the Molten Core's ability to charge crystals and asked them to replace the crystals every two days before going to find Magni.
