“Roar—Medivh, you will fall into hell!”

The massive figure roared, but the sound it made was extremely weak. And with this shout, its huge body rapidly shrunk, becoming half its original size.

“This is—a blue dragon's soul?” Garona asked in surprise.

Roger didn't speak, but looked at the part connected to the blue dragon's soul, a bone between the upper and lower jaws. He curiously took it off and gently wiped it; it was as crystal clear as a sapphire.

“Damn mortal, put down your filthy hand.”

The blue dragon's soul pounced towards Roger, but unfortunately, it passed right through his body, causing him no harm whatsoever. On the contrary, this action caused its body to shrink even more.

Roger said playfully, “In that case, if I take this gem away, will you be freed?”

Roger interrupted him, “Alright! We are foolish mortals. Then, Your Excellency, the great blue dragon, how were you killed by Medivh? Did he ambush you?”

The blue dragon was exasperated, “Shut up! You damn mortal!”

Roger sneered; he naturally knew that he had touched the blue dragon's scar. Medivh didn't need to ambush it to defeat it; a simple head-on confrontation, a single spell, turned this clamoring blue dragon to ashes. If it weren't for the blue dragon's strong body and the many calcified parts, it probably wouldn't even have any bones left.

Garona looked at Roger in confusion, wondering if provoking it like that was a good idea.

Of course, it was good; otherwise, how would it recognize reality?

Roger said coldly, “Blue dragon, you are already dead. If you don't want your soul to die as well, then cooperate obediently; otherwise, I will send your soul to Medivh.”

“No! You can't do that!” The blue dragon cried out in despair.

“Your name!”

“Arcanus.”

“Very good!” Roger nodded in satisfaction, then asked, “This gem can preserve your soul, right?”

“Of course!” Arcanus said, “This is where my last magical essence is located, containing vast magical energy and many amazing functions. Of course, the main function is to serve as a container for my soul.”

Roger opened the system and appraised the gem.

Arcanus's Magical Essence: Contains powerful arcane energy. Long-term wear can improve one's arcane affinity, making it easier for the user to control arcane energy.
