The Sharingan Hyuga

With a full of Ice Armor along with an Ice Spear, Xerx stopped the Gaint Ogre's Ax with a b_a_r_e hand surprising even the Ogre. He coldly spoke, "freeze". The Ax began to freeze making the Ogre abandoning it as his hand was once again about to get freeze along with the weapon.

Then, he raised his Ice spear which increases its size to a Giant Ice spear to that of the Ogre's weapon and pierced it which made a hole in its arm making it screaming with pain.

Asta and Noelle were shocked by seeing this transformation of Xerx whose face devoid of all expression and looked very cold. He stared back at Asta, "don't interfere with this battle from now onwards and watch your vice-captain".

It roared and tried to punch him but before it even reached him, He already disappeared from there with high speed and appeared behind it and pierced its leg with the Ice spear in his hand and leave it there along with the leg which slowly began to freeze him.

The Ogre created the club intending to destroy the spear which was stuck in its leg. But then, Xerx created another Giant Ice spear and pierced the other leg too causing it to fall on its knees. It kept screaming in pain.

Xerx didn't give it the time to get free any longer as he knew he can't maintain this form for longer and what is going to happen after that. He dashed to the front and jumped up high in the air and created Giant Ice Spear again and threw it towards its Heart.

But at the right time, it was able to move a little bit and the attack missed the heart but got pierced in the middle of its c_h_e_s_t. As it began to freeze its c_h_e_s_t, it hurriedly pulled it out with great difficulty forgetting the fact that its legs are completely frozen.

As it pulled the Ice spear, a small hole was formed surprising Xerx, "I guess, its defense is very high there, huh? I might need to use more force then". Then, it created a club and tried to free its frozen legs and the spears which pierced them to the other side.

Before it did that. He closed his eyes and raised his two arms while using a large amount of mana and created dozen of Giant spears which were floating above him. "Die". As he motioned his hand, all the spears pierced the Giant Ogre which is on its knees.

It tried to block it with the club but the first one which collided with the club destroyed it like a piece of cake. The remaining ones pierced him in various places and immobilized him. Many of the attacks even came off the other side of its body except for a couple of ones.

He dashed and jumped forward and pushed the one which managed to pierce its heart but wasn't able to do it completely. Upon using external force, the Ice spear manages to pierce the heart and thereby freeze it.

Asta and Noelle dumbfoundedly looked at Xerx who single-handedly managed to defeat and froze that monster. Xerx smiled while looking at the Ogre which was almost frozen completely, "well, to defeat this kind of monster and saving to of them. It's not a bad ending".

Meanwhile, Asta and Noelle were also got excited to see such an amazing fight but their excitement didn't last long as they heard a roar, "No...". Xerx was surprised to hear the human speech from this monster as it spoke in a rage, "I will kill you all, humans". As the Giant Ogre began to become even bigger while red-colored mana surged around it and melted the Ice.

It healed its wounds as it transformed. The two tusks in its mouth gone and a bighorn appeared on its head. Two Giant Axes appeared in each hand and attacked Xerx with extremely high speed which even Noelle and Asta weren't able to follow.

As the battle went on, half of the town gets destroyed making Asta and Noelle move around while watching the battle. Xerx was panting as his breathing gets heavier by every second. He mumbled, "it seems my time is almost up. I should use that attack. I only have one chance. Cough* Cough*". He coughed a bit of blood and wiped it off.

Then, he spoke with Asta and after a while, "we only got one shot. Understand?". As Asta nodded, He created the Ice dragon and rode on it. Although it seemed like a regular one, in this mode, this one head dragon can use Ice breath which is a lot stronger than twin-headed.

As he stood on top of the dragon and stared in its eyes with determination, it shivered as it felt chills, not because of the Ice but it got a strong feeling something bad going to happen. It wanted to finish him before he even gets to do something. It jumped and use all of its strength to hack him along with the Ice dragon.

But the attack didn't get land on it as it dodged the attack and used Ice breath from his left side. As it started to freeze his body again, It turned and tried to block the attack with its Axes. Xerx controlled it and increased the power of it while continuously using the Ice breath which is forcing the Ogre to move continuously backward despite trying to use all of its strength.

The intensity of the Ice breath increased again as Xerx raised his hand. An Ice trident appeared in his hands and he jumped forward towards the Orge just at the moment the Ice breath managed to blast the Axes away leaving his neck vulnerable.

He pierced the neck with the Giant Ice trident which instantly frozen his neck and cut off the connection between the head and the body. But before it tries to recover miraculously, the Ice dragon picked up Asta who rode on it and cut the head of the Ogre with his Anti-Magic sword.

As Asta and Noelle raised their hands in excitement, The Ice dragon disappeared suddenly making Asta fall but he landed successfully and he heard a loud thud and found Xerx on the ground.

Both of them immediately dashed towards him to help him out. As they flipped him over, the ice armor disappeared and the grimoire beside him starting to become transparent. They screamed, "Xerx".

Xerx spoke with a smile and forced himself to speak a few more words than his limit "there was no other choice. Tell the captain I died protecting the pride of our squad. Tell everyone that Purple Orca isn't just a one-man squad which depends on its captain. Tell the captain that I'm sorry for....".

He wasn't able to say anything more as he wanted to and his breathing, as well as his heartbeat, stopped. As Asta's mind was in a mess, "how....what just happened? until now, he is fine. How did he end up in this state suddenly..." As Asta and Noelle grieve his death, meanwhile, Shuichi mumbled, "what a fool".

He activated his Tensei-RinneSharingan and disappeared from his room. A while later as Asta and Noelle carried his dead body to their HQ, In the spirit world, Xerx spirit walking away with others to cross the bridge, "well, I have done what I can. I have no regrets".

As he was about to reach the end, someone stopped him by placing a hand on his shoulder from behind. He turned back and was taken back to find Shuichi glaring at him. "Captain?"
