He really wanted to abandon the problem-filled S.H.I.E.L.D., even if it was much better to rebuild it in the ruins, but unfortunately he was out of that opportunity, and if he followed the normal timeline, Nick Fury would have just scrapped S.H.I.E.L.D. and gone underground as originally planned.

"You're on the third floor of No. Solon Deadly Silence Plaza, our f-11's are only eight miles away, get that woman on the phone or I can blow up the building before you can run down the hall." The man's voice on the phone was gentle, but the message in his words was chilling.

So he gave up and spoke the phone to the woman's ear.

"Are you kidding me? I'm working! The old fool said almost everything" the woman caught the phone with her shoulder and then complained to the other end of the line.

"I didn't say anything" heard the woman and the big man standing by defended himself, but unfortunately no one paid any attention to him.

"This matter is more urgent"

"I know, but I'm not going anywhere with Hydra."

"Natasha Barton is missing and there's another force involved, the energy emitted by the Tesseract has exploded and we can't wait for a second time."

"Okay, give me a minute." After saying that, Natasha signaled for the other party to come and get the phone, then kicked it over.

Sitting at the street table, Steve looked at his best friend Stark's building and fell into a memory, taking out a pen and paper, he began drawing against his memories.

Feeling depressed Steve left the area and looking at the vastly changed city Steve found a boxing gym and started to let off some steam.

The fight went on for a while until everyone started disappearing and Steve didn't feel anything out of the ordinary.

Nick Fury walked in, it was normal almost every time this guy appeared in public he cleared the crowd.

"Can't sleep?" Nick Fury walked in and spoke up.

"I've been sleeping for 70 years sir, I think I've slept long enough" Steve answered Nick Fury as he boxed.

"Then you should take a walk, celebrate and see the world."

"The world was at war while I was asleep and when I woke up they said the war was over and we had won, but they didn't say what we had lost."

"We've made a lot of mistakes along the way, some just a short time ago."

"Got any assignments for me?"

"Yes,"

"Let me fit into the world?"

"It's for you to save him!"

Chapter 68: The Delivery Man Comes

"Wanda, pack up your dog toys, Jesus, he's a hellish three-headed dog not a chihuahua, some days he's really smarter than you why did you buy him these dog toys" Chang Man yelled at Wanda with a frustrated look on his face.
