The Spoiled Girl
Chapter 1331 The Wanted Men
A few minutes later, the location of Cherish's phone was determined, and the exact position was sent to Carlos's phone.
Following the instructions on the GPS map, Carlos walked slowly along a path, but he felt that something was wrong.
Considering various factors, the apartment he had chosen for Nora was not in a very bustling area, but it was also not remote.
There were several roads leading out of the coffee shop. And following the GPS, after an initial detour, he was heading into a rather lonely and grim area. 'Why would Cherish come here all on her own?' he thought.
Still following the directions of the map, Carlos reached a particularly desolate area–the entrance of a dark alley.
However, the alley was deserted. A terrible feeling of foreboding arose in his heart. He frowned and walked quickly towards the dot shown on the map, where he found Cherish's phone lying in the deep bush near the entrance of the alley.
The phone's screen was cracked, and it was powered off.
The broken phone made Carlos tremble with fear.
Something must have befallen Cherish!
After reaching the location and finding the damaged mobile phone, Carlos immediately called Perrin to inform him of the situation, and then he mobilized the police force to confiscate the surveillance video of a nearby merchant. They instantly began to analyze the recording to see if they could find any sign of Cherish.
As expected, they saw Cherish leaving the coffee shop. It seemed that she was following two men. But then she disappeared down the alley, which was a blind zone. The surveillance camera lost all trace of her then, and they were clueless as to what happened in the alley. But five minutes later, the two men who had been followed by Cherish came out, carrying a sack.
A policeman zoomed in on the faces of the two criminals. One of the policemen said with a dark gleam in his eyes, "Aren't those two suspects the wanted criminals we have been looking for recently?"
"Wanted criminals?" Turning to the policeman in panic, Carlos asked, "What kind of crimes are they wanted for?"
The policeman looke
didn't lie to us," the other man agreed with a laugh.
'The Mo woman?' When the surname "Mo" reached Cherish's ears, the first image that came to her mind was that of Nora's scowling face.
Since the last time when they had met, Cherish had developed a bad impression about Nora. No matter what Nora said or did to appease Cherish, she would not believe her.
In addition to the fact that Cherish was investigating the recorder, she also had rivalled Nora with regards to Carlos. If Nora wanted to hurt her because of these things, it would make sense.
But it was just too vile and sinister to hurt her in this way.
By now, Cherish couldn't think logically anymore. When she saw the first man approaching her, she began weeping. She pleaded hoarsely, "I'm begging you. I can give you anything you want. Please don't hurt me. I can pay you a lot of money. I can pay you ten times more than Nora! Please just don't hurt me!"
But the two men merely smiled at her. One of them said, "Little girl, we don't need your money. You're so beautiful, and we're not going to let you go so easily."
The other man also nodded and added, "As you can see, there is no one else here. Isn't it just so fortunate that we can do whatever we like to you here?"
All of a sudden, the man seemed to think of something. "Oh! How about this deal? If you can make us happy today, we will let you live. What do you think?"
