The Spoiled Girl
Chapter 1397 The First Attempt At Treatment
When Louis and Taylor arrived, Scott was still smashing things, and the living room had become a warzone of noise and flying objects.
Taylor asked a maid to take Amy to a guest room to sleep, and then ran with Louis to the living room where Scott was busy throwing a tantrum.
As soon as they entered the room, they saw that Scott's eyes were bloodshot, and that he was about to smash another vase on the ground.
Louis rushed in, ran to Scott, gave him a restraining hug, and comforted him in a soft voice. "Scott, I'm here. I'm here. Don't be afraid!"
However, at this moment, Scott didn't recognize Louis at all. He smashed the vase in his hand, and it broke immediately upon hitting the ground. The shards flew everywhere, cutting their cheeks and arms.
Scott reacted violently as soon as he was freed. He grabbed Louis's arm and bit into it like a savage beast.
Louis didn't care about his injury, and he kept comforting Scott, telling him, "Scott, Scott, it's me, your brother. Don't be afraid. I'll protect you!"
Comforted by Louis, Scott slowly calmed down.
He looked at Louis and called out in a hoarse voice, "Brother." He was in a daze and couldn't show any emotion.
Seeing that he had settled down, Taylor walked closer to Scott and tried to speak with him.
However, as soon as Scott saw her drawing near, he immediately became vigilant and looked at her suspiciously.
"Maybe he has forgotten who you are, because he hasn't seen you for a long time. He is not feeling well today. You should talk to him tomorrow," Louis said in a soft voice while watching Scott, who was on alert.
Taylor sighed. She understood that it was impossible for her to force Scott to let his guard down enough to trust her and speak to her today, so she simply replied, "Hmm." Then, she turned around and left the room to find Amy in the other room.
Scott had smashed the vase so loudly that Amy had woken up.
But because Taylor had not been by her side and she was afraid of being alone, she had hidden herself under the quilt.
When she heard the footsteps approach, she quietly pulled the quilt down a little to peep out at the room. Only part of her head was showing from under
ine after some rest!" Emily weakly sank down on the sofa.
When the photo had left her sight earlier, Emily had heard two different voices speaking in her mind.
One voice had said, "It's just a photo. It's a fake. Don't be afraid. Don't forget your purpose!"
The other voice had argued, "Don't you remember anything when you see this photo? Have you forgotten what you did to her? How can you just forget everything?"
The two conflicting voices had kept arguing in her mind.
Emily had felt a deep distress, and her had brain became preoccupied with these two opposing voices, which sounded just like two enemies quarreling with each other.
It was so noisy that Emily had developed a splitting migraine.
In the end, her desire to heal had overcome her, so she had finally forced herself to calm down.
Through the strength of her need to be stronger, she had ultimately come back to her senses, though it had required a huge effort.
"Okay, have some rest. You can tell me how you feel once you feel more rested!" Taylor knew that Emily was very tired and that the experience had been very painful, but Emily had to go through this process.
Taylor walked over and knelt behind Emily. She stretched her hands out and slowly began massaging Emily's temples to help her fight off the fatigue.
The two women were busy quietly soothing themselves in the study, while in the living room, Jacob could not calm down to concentrate on his work at all.
