"Gege, I will just order simple food. Fried chicken and stir-fry vegetables. Is that okay for you?"

Jian Kang Lu just nodded. He really didn't have any preferences for his meal. As a doctor, they trained to eat anything. When you're still in the internship and residency, anything will taste great just to fill your stomach. That's why Jian Kang Lu likes to eat good food at good restaurants, but also doesn't mind eating anything anywhere.

When they arrived at the apartment, his kitten took a bath first and then prepared dinner while Jian Kang Lu took a bath. It's been almost three weeks since the last time they made love. Even though the beast inside him is hard to restrain, at least this beast knows how to act civilised. Disturbing a university student at their final exam is really an unforgiven and uncivilised act.

Even though his kitten was tired, he still made apple juice for both of them.. Jian Kang Lu really feels his health and life standard has improved since his kitten lived with him. They live together for almost 10 months now. And each day filled with happiness for him.

Jian Kang Lu is glad his kitten will spend his summer break with him here due to his internship. If he had to spend another 2 months without his kitten, Jian Kang Lu really feels that he will turn insane from the loneliness. He could not sleep well without his kitten in his arms.

When they have their dinner, Jian Kang Lu asks his kitten, "How's your day, TangTang?"

He enjoyed his kitten's soft and clear voice telling him how his exam went, and also his dinner with his friends. Listening to his kitten's voice always manages to ease Jian Kang Lu's tired and boring day.

"TangTang, maybe you can't meet your mom and your sister for this summer break. Don't you miss them?" Jian Kang Lu asks while sipping his apple juice. He knew his kitten worried about his mom.

Bai Yutang really wants to meet his mom. After his father was gone, he felt that he needed to spend more time with his mom and his sister. He still missed his father so much. A familiar face that now starts to fade away, since he can't meet him again.

Seeing his kitten just silent, Jian Kang Lu sighed. "TangTang, how if we invite your mom and your sister here? Your sister also has her summer break, and it will be nice for her to have holiday here with your mom. That way, you can also meet both of them."

Bai Yutang was stunned. That's really a great idea. And shows how much his lover cares for him and his family. But… Once again, Bai Yutang felt that money was the problem.

Looking at his kitten's expression, Jian Kang Lu could guess what's on his kitten's mind. He already knew that money is a sensitive matter to his kitten. It was a very dangerous land to step on.

Thus he says slowly, "You could use your own savings for their ticket. And for their accommodation, they could live here at the guest room. And they could cook here too. Why don't you ask them first, and listen to their opinion about this matter?"

Bai Yutang finished his apple juice while calculating. That way, they won't spend much money. And his sister also will be happy to have vacation here. B city has so many tourist spots, and all those spots could be reached by bus. So it was cheap and won't be an expensive holiday for them.

Bai Yutang smiles, "Thank you Gege, I think they will be very happy. But I need to ask them if they mind staying here."

Jian Kang Lu already finished his juice. He stood up and walked towards his kitten. He just kissed his kitten's head softly, and tousled his hair. "I think your mom also will be relieved and feel safe if she could see where you live right now. And your sister will love this city in summer. I could arrange for her to meet some of my relatives here around her age, so she could have friends here and spend her holiday well."

Bai Yutang nods and hugs his lover. They sleep early that night.

Bai Yutang wakes up in the morning feeling refreshed after finally having slept for more than 7 hour. Unfortunately he had to cancel his plan to cook this morning. All due to his lover's fault. Bai Yutang understands that they haven't made love for 3 weeks. But rolling around and spending more than 1 hour in the bed will make them late for Jian Kang Lu's Saturday round if Bai Yutang is still cooking.

Bai Yutang had to admit, after 3 weeks and those tiring exams, to make love with your loved one really felt amazing. His lover was a little bit wild and cruel today. Knowing that after three weeks of abstinence turn Bai Yutang became really sensitive, his lover just teased him over and over, and didn't let him to cum. After that, they have lunch with the residents. While his lover teaches his residents, Bai Yutang calls his mom. Few minutes were spent asking about his mother's health and what she's been doing lately. Then Bai Yutang finally asks.

"Mom, do you want to come here and visit me? MeiMei also have her summer break, and both of you haven't got any vacation lately."

Bai Yutang could hear nothing. Until half a minute later, her mother's voice finally heard.

"I would like to, and it was also good for Xiao Ren. But.."

Bai Yutang knows what is bothering her mother's mind. Just like what was bothering him.

"Train tickets are not that expensive. And.. Jian Ge offered both of you a stay at his apartment. You could see where I live now. I could sleep in Jian Ge's room. You and MeiMei could sleep in my room. Jian Ge also said that you're free to cook there."

Bai Yutang clears his throat before continuing. "Jian Ge works from morning until night, so you won't bother him. I'll also work for my internship, so maybe I could not accompany you in the noon time. But it will be nice if we could spend time together even just to have breakfast and dinner together."

His mom didn't say anything, but finally she said, "If Xiao Ren agreed, then maybe we can go there. For how long?"

Bai Yutang relieved, "Up to you mom, you could talk to Xiao Ren about this matter first. Just let me know later."

At night, when they're having dinner at their favourite Korean restaurant, his sister calls him.

"Gege!!! I want to go there. I promised I won't disturb you and Jian Ge. Can we stay there for one week?"

Bai Yutang is glad he listens to his lover's advice. To hear his sister's excitement, he smiled and felt happy. He remembers, the last time they had vacation to B city was four years ago when Bai Yutang accepted into T university. They're going to one of the hot spring resorts here, and visiting many tourist spots like the palace and the temple. Thus, his mother and his sister won't get lost here.

"Let's just buy one way ticket. If you want to spend more time here, you can." Bai Yutang replied gently to his sister.

Bai Yutang told his sister whether she needed Jian Kang Lu to introduce her to his relatives so she has friends here. But her sister rejected it.

"I don't think we could burden Jian Ge more than this, Gege.. Don't worry, I have few friends from my university there. I could go with them to play together. I'll bring mom too. So you and Jian Ge won't be bothered with us."

With that arrangement, his sister and his mom said they will come next month, mid of July. That way, Bai Yutang could familiarise himself with his internship and prepare for their arrival.

Jian Kang Lu and Bai Yutang pick both of them in the train station in the midst of summer wave in mid July. B city in summer is hot and humid. Bai Yutang saw his sister wearing a red light dress and she ran to him, hugged him tight.

"Thank you, Gege.." Her sister whispered. Bai Yuren thought she won't have any vacation again, but here she is, in B city.

It's Saturday afternoon, the four of them are going to the shopping mall first and will have dinner later in the hotpot restaurant where Bai Yutang and Jian Kang Lu are having their first meal together. Bai Yuren was really happy when Jian Kang Lu bought many things for her in the shopping mall.

"It's really nice to have a little sister. My own brother is so cold and didn't have any reaction when I bought him things." Jian Kang Lu defends himself when Bai Yutang reminds him not to spoil his sister.

Then he whispered into his kitten's ear, "Besides, i don't think that i was wrong to spoil my future sister in law."

Bai Yutang's face turns red, and finally gives up. Letting his lover throw the money to please his sister.

Bai Yuren really loves the food in the restaurant. Her face is red after trying the spicy soup and finished the tender Wagyu meat. "This is the best hotpot restaurant I ever taste, Jian Ge!"

Jian Kang Lu smiled to see his kitten's sister chat lively and didn't hesitate to order for more. His kitten's little sister is definitely more fun compared to a cold and calm brother of his own.

"If you want to, on Wednesday I will be back home earlier. Why don't we try my favourite Italian restaurant that day. You'll love it."

Bai Yuren nods frantically and they dominate the conversation. Bai Yutang saw his mother smile to see her daughter so happy. Just like when their father was still alive. 

His mother asked him about his internship. Because Bai Yutang often worked with that firm previously for his side job, he managed to fit in no time. Other than working over time, sometimes until 9 pm, he didn't feel any differences with doing his project and side job.

Bai Yutang still manages to cook a simple breakfast every morning for his lover. And that makes him happy. He once thought that he'll be too tired once he starts his internship. But compared to his project and exam last time, he didn't feel burdened. Maybe because he felt no pressure.

Compared to him, Tang Yuxuan needed more time to adjust himself, since Tang Yuxuan never took a side job before. But these last few days, Tang Yuxuan is already accustomed and works faster.

Liu Xiang on the other hand, living like zombies these days. The pressure is hard when you're doing an internship with a prodigy in the best firm. Moreover, this prodigy graduated this month, and strives to apply in Zhen Guo's firm after he finished his internship. Thus they seem like competing with each other to prove that they are worthy to work there.

Bai Yuren also complimented the apartment where her brother lived. Bai Yuren really feels that her brother is so lucky to have a friend like Jian Kang Lu. Her favourite part is the small library in Jian Kang Lu's apartment.

"If you found any book that you like, you could just take it home. I finished reading all of that." Jian Kang Lu offered Bai Yuren when he saw Bai Yuren flipped through the book shelf.

Bai Yuren happily received that offer. She finally spent two weeks in B city. His mom came back earlier one week before, and said that she wasn't comfortable leaving their house for too long. But her mother told her that if she wanted to spend more time here, she could. Thus Bai Yuren spent another week without her mom.

When their mom came back home, Bai Yuren proudly told his brother she managed to apply for a scholarship. So her brother doesn't need to worry about her tuition this year. She already told Bai Yutang two months ago when her scholarship was approved. But to hear both of them praised her again, just make her feel good.

As a reward for her scholarship acceptance, Jian Kang Lu gave her a new mobile phone as a gift. Bai Yuren is so happy, this is the latest model from one of the most expensive brands. She even hugged Jian Kang Lu and almost cried. Her phone is the model from three years ago. She was supposed to get a new phone last year from her father as a gift for her university admission. But.. Sometimes life goes into a different direction from what you expect.

She likes it here in B city, in the apartment where her brother lives with Jian Kang Lu. She likes Jian Kang Lu so much. His knowledge is wide, and sometimes they talk and joke about the life of medical faculty students. This friend of his brother also pampered her so much. She could taste excellent food in the high class restaurant many times while she stayed here, and Jian Kang Lu also gave her pocket money.

"Don't tell your brother. Just take it to make me at ease if you're going out with your friends later."

But, no matter how pure and dense Bai Yuren is about the relationship between man and man, Bai Yuren could still notice that her brother's relationship with Jian Kang Lu is not an ordinary friendship.

Not only once did she see how Jian Kang Lu looked at his brother with eyes full of affection. Or how every small movement from him is intimate and always protects his brother with his gesture.

Almost all the time she heard that gentle and doting tone from Jian Kang Lu, exclusively directed to his brother. And his brother answered in the same soft and doting tone.

And most of all, she saw how her brother serve Jian Kang Lu for their breakfast attentively, and her brother always be the first to put things Jian Kang Lu liked to his plate, pouring the water or juice when his glass almost empty, and also took the plate and replace it with the dessert once Jian Kang Lu finished his meal. Never in Bai Yuren's life saw her brother treat someone like that.

Lastly, when they were having dinner in the French restaurant, she saw from the mirror behind his brother, how Jian Kang Lu brushed her brother's hand lightly under the table when she was walking from the toilet.

Inside her heart, she knows that something is happening between them. Surprisingly, she feels happy instead of sad nor disgusted. To see her brother's face brightened, and that gentle smile curved from her brother's lips, makes her happy too.

Jian Kang Lu is a man that every girl wants to have as a husband. And most importantly, this man put her brother as his priority. Always listen to his brother, and also ask for his opinion.

Bai Yuren didn't know whether she guessed right about her brother and this man's relationship. But if it was true, then she will support anything that makes her brother happy.

Her brother is the best brother in the world, and Bai Yuren wants to be the best sister in the world for him.
