The Story of Dusk

"Father…" Luna called him.

Modama nodded to his daughter as he made his way toward the couch nearby with arrogant aura emitted from his every move.

It was so easy for him to enter the mansion as he only need to manipulate all the guards along the way, it was an easy fit for him to do, on account the merely guards weren't difficult to subdue. He didn't need to bother to hide his present.

Modama walked past the entrance as easy as he walked into the garden.

"You have done a great job." Modama said in formal way.

"It's my duty." Luna answered him flatly.

There was no trace of warmth from the way both of them interacted with each other, almost as though they were an acquaintance who would talk about business.

"I need you to keep your eyes on Xiao Tianyao." Modama stated as he crossed his arms in front of his chest. "Made him as devoted to you as possible, I need him to be more infatuated by you until he willingly defied his brothers and the Emperor."

"Understood." Luna said solemnly.

It was Modama and The Emperor Xiao Zi's plan after all. They would trickily use Luna to revoke Xiao Tianyao's military power, as for Luna role was to sow discord between the two brothers and got as much information from Xiao Tianyao's side.

"There is another task for you." Modama said in eerie tone.

"What is it father?"

"Find out what Xiao Jun did to the remaining of Xinghe people." Modama stared right at Luna's eyes. "There is a group of people who help the remaining of Xinghe people to escape from Xinghe. Xiao Zi and I are very sure that it must have something to do with those brothers."

"Understood." Luna replied.

"We need more people to build our own force, so no one could trample people like us again! Like what they had done decades ago!" Modama's eyes flickered with anger.

He remembered how his parents and his sibling slaughtered right before his eyes, it was fortunate for him to be able to escape that hellish day.

Now, he would make sure all the Emperor of Azura descended, with named Xiao, would meet their end. Including Xiao Zi, the stupid Emperor who didn't even realized if he had been used for his own ambition. Eventually the Emperor would meet his end the moment Modama had done with him.

Luna stared back at her father calmly as she spoke with her soft voice. "I need Gong Xu to deliver my medicine the second day every month. Please tell him that I will be waiting for him at the southern gate of this mansion."

The Emperor had given her the layout of Xiao Tianyao's mansion before hand, thus Luna had knowledge about this mansion even before she came.

"I will tell him." Modama said, yet his eyes flashed with a hint of disgusted. "Luna, I don't a want mishap in this plan. I don't want hear an excuse, not even excuse from your illness can be tolerated. Do you understand?" He glared at his daughter.

"Understood."
