The Strongest Primordial System

Chapter 14 - The first real battle & horror

The burning heat and shockwave that came from the martial art move made many watch with a hint of worry for the other contestant. Alex though remained calm, he knew from his training that letting emotions in would hinder even the most trained cultivator.

Spiritual Qi gathered quickly around Alex body creating a thin transparent blue aura that not many could notice. A few masters from other areas started to notice the fast disappearance of heaven and earth Qi and started thinking either a geniuses monster was battling or some new master reached a new cultivation tier. Either way most decided to check it out.

A red fist moved very quick toward his c.h.e.s.t but no movement was seen from Alex, until the closed hand was just about to slam hard in the intended target. He just leaning ever so slightly to his right and it missed .Although he missed the heat from the attack still managed to burn the clothing area near his heart.

Alex stepped back further noticing a tingling sensation from that area. This made a strange warm feeling running through his body. He couldn't help touch the area and starting to laugh like a mad man scaring a lot of the masters that had now arrived.

Another fist came forth but this time Alex dogged it better with no clothing getting singed. Even after a few more rounds Alex still couldn't help laughing from time to time. Pushing far back in the ring he stopped and said.

"Don't think me mad man but"

"I'm impressed to see your marital art technique"

"It makes my blood finally start to awaken for its slumber again"

"If I'm not wrong your spirit rot must be at least mid-level orange and be focus toward the element fire."

Although Alex said the openly it wasn't heard by others.

A shocked look came from the sickly pale boy. He got a little afraid from the info Alex managed to easily find out about him so fast and easy.

"There is no point hiding this from you but I'm sure in the end I can beat when you barely managed to doge my first attack"

Is that so Alex said and made a slight frown following after was a loud whooshing sounds and a few seconds later Alex had moved from his original spot to where his opponent was. He punched out and because the speed and relax manner the young pale man got push all the way back to the other side of the arena.

Yet again a shock face mixed with a deep pain expression could be from the pale young man, but he didn't stay shocked for long.

"Remember this rule"

"When a life form is in the brink of losing it might release a power stronger then what you could believe it could"

"So never let your guard down"

After a few minutes Alex stopped attacking and started to dodge the attacks instead. He did this not because most of his skin was gone but he notice a flaw in the martial art technique from his opponent and decided to wait for an opportunity. The flaw wasn't something a normal human could detect it was how the flame managed to have a heat strong enough to melt most metals but somehow not hurt the owner. As with many metals if you heat it to fast or cool it to fast it would break or become unstable.

Alex thought was what would happen if he either increased the heat quickly or just disturbed the connection to the technique for a short while.

One of his greatest abilities was his Qi sense, with it he was able to see and notice Qi far better than anyone except maybe the god like being One above all.

The system (Asura) even consider that Alex ability Qi sense was on the border of being a skill only a true god should have and have mastered.

Even with this many living or other things many may look the same but isn't in the end, this being the case Alex had to study the flow of Qi in his opponent a-bit to be sure to not infuse his qi in the wrong spot. He twisted his fists and imbued a small amount of heaven and earth Qi and attacked his opponent's median nerve and ulnar nerve on both arms. The force from the attack resulted in the nerve loosing there control. The Qi invaded the owners Qi and made another mess of things.

The result was horrifying. The young man skins and muscle was being fast consumed by the flames and what all could focus on was the smell of flesh being burned but mostly hear the horrible screams of the pale man. Even with the pain he tried all he could to get the control back, but he felt no response from his arms or hands so getting back the technique under control was impossible.

This result wasn't what Alex had wanted so what he did next was out of kindness. He quickly kicked him out of the arena then when the hurt man landed softly on the floor he rush up to him even faster giving him a punch to make him pass out then slipped him a transparent medicine pill.

The judge and all others was shocked how the battle ended and winning the final battle of the day Alex could rest few days for the other results to be clear. But he didn't care at the moment and just stayed with the young man helping him dissolve the pill and healing him. As you may have figured out by now Alex made a huge mistake.

He knew that his control over his own Qi was supreme but in the end he forgot that his Qi was far more concentrated then all other life forms.

"I'm sorry for the pain I caused you, it wasn't my intentions "

Looking up he saw a Young man with a white Chinese face mask bowing toward him. Then he remembered who it was.

Standing up slowly and still notice the young man with a white mask bowing he said.

"It looks like you didn't did it on purpose, you even healed me and improved my qi flow"

"It's a small price to pay"

Alex heaved a sigh of relief and thought back to a lesson he told himself after his new body was created. Even if you become a god in many peoples view you're still human in the end of the day and humans makes mistakes.

Alex straighten his back and ask

"So may I still know your name and history "

"I'm sure the problem you have with your body isn't something that happened by accident."
