Chapter 40: Clearly Here to Wreak Havoc!

Mo Heng had rushed Tangtang to the best pediatric hospital in Yuncheng.

It was Tangtang’s first time visiting a hospital. The moment she stepped through the doors, she was shocked by all the ear-piercing screams coming from the hospital corridor…

Especially… the scent of disinfectant, a smell she had never come across before.

The little mermaid collapsed on Mo Heng’s shoulder, shivering. Was this the place where they dissected mermaids?!!

Why would Big Brother Mo Heng bring her here?

Was he truly about to give her to a research organization? To dissect her??

Boohoo… Tangtang was extremely regretful.

Was it because Big Brother had discovered that she had secretly spit out her veggies at lunch? Big Brother Mo Heng was angry. He didn’t want her anymore!

Tangtang tightly hugged Mo Heng’s neck and pointed towards the entrance of the hospital. “Go—”

She was determined not to follow Mo Heng inside.

It seemed as though all little children feared hospitals. Even little mermaids were no exception.

Mo Heng recalled how he had also been frightened of hospitals when he was a child. He’d been scared of check-ups, as well as injections… One time, when he’d gone to the dentist for a check-up, he had almost brought down their roof.

When he recalled his childhood days, Mo Heng smiled brightly. It was rare for such a smile to appear on his face. He didn’t even realize that the grim aura shrouding him had lifted, and that he now looked like an anxious stay-at-home dad as he held Tangtang in his arms.

However, Mo Heng hadn’t brought Tangtang here for a full body check-up!

He was here because… He had other urgent matters to attend to—

Mo Heng gently patted Tangtang’s back with his large, warm hand and said, “Tangtang is such a good girl. Big Brother has some things to attend to. Behave, alright?”

When Tangtang heard Mo Heng’s inner thoughts, she realized that Mo Heng wasn’t here to bring her for a check-up. However, she was still afraid.

She forced a calm look on her round, tiny face, pretending to be unperturbed, and nodded her head.

Mo Heng adjusted her mini sunglasses and mask in order to prevent anyone from recognizing her. Then, he looked for the emergency room.

When he found it, he heard someone bawling mournfully from inside.

Soon after, there was the sound of something shattering…

Which was soon followed by a lady apologizing. “I’m sorry, doctor. Don’t worry, I’ll pay for all the damaged items. I will pay for everything!”

The loud bawling caused Tangtang’s ears to hurt, and she silently stretched out her chubby hands and plugged her ears.

Mo Heng took a deep breath before pushing the door open and walking into the room, an exasperated look on his face.

The emergency room looked as though a hurricane had swept through it. It was in complete disarray.

Medical notes were scattered across the floor, and even the doctor’s stethoscope was on the ground, broken into two pieces…

A fierce-looking little boy with the temperament of an old man was holding a needle syringe in his hand. He was backed against a corner, screaming at the top of his lungs. He seemed to be threatening everyone present—anyone who dared to come closer would die with him.

The nurses thought that Mo Heng was the next patient in queue. Just as they were about to escort him out, the little boy’s mother spotted Mo Heng. When she saw him, she had the same expression on her face as a drowning man who suddenly discovers a life-saving piece of drift wood. She hurriedly explained, “Nurse, he is my younger brother!”

Only then did Mo Heng say reluctantly, “Sis, what on earth happened here?”

Mo Yun explained, “Kai Kai was being mischievous. He rolled down the staircase. I was worried that he injured his head, and so I rushed him to the hospital. I wanted to arrange a brain CT so they could check and make sure he was okay, but this child—”

He clearly wasn’t at the hospital for a check-up. He was here to wreak havoc!

Mo Heng didn’t find this unusual situation strange, however. He was used to it.

Unable to handle her five-year-old son, Mo Yun helplessly begged Mo Heng to help her: “Mo Heng, please help me. This child fears you the most!”

He didn’t fear Mo Heng the most!

He was just the only one who didn’t spoil him!

Everyone else spoiled the child to the point that he disregarded all rules and orders. He was simply a devil incarnate.

The moment Mo Heng saw him, he had a headache. He didn’t like this nephew of his at all!
