The System of a Vampire

Draig was continuing his journey to the gate when a hand came out of a rift and threw him back to the Farm house violently.

"I said you cant leave" stated Zarra stepping out of the rift

Draig felt his body ache, he stood up and wheezed before he looked at Zarra with red eyes his elongated canines gleaming in the sun as his claws punctured his palms. He made a beeline to Zarra showing off his enhanced speed and started swinging at Zarra wildly, they were uncoordinated and couldn't land.

"Such a waste, all this raw power but no skill, no talent and you dare to bare those baby fangs at me" said Zarra back handing Draig and launching him back again, but he wasn't done he slashed his own palms and scattered his blood into the air as they took shape.

"Oh you use runes, I happen to dabble in them as well" said Zarra as he drew in the air and sent them at Draig.

The runes crashed into each other creating a mist from the blood, Zarra narrowed his eyes but struck the moment Draig appeared sending his body crashing back, but Draig followed the blow and rolled back to his feet launching into the air charging again.

"You are tenacious, that isn't a compliment" said Zarra as he spun around and kicked Draig in the side of the head with stone crushing force.

Draig remained on the ground breathing heavily as he heard footsteps approaching him, Zarra crouched down and poked him in the side of the head with his staff.

"You feel better now" asked Zarra, a dark mage he may be but he didn't carve his reputation in hate. He only treated his enemies with true hostility.

"No, I still want to leave" said Draig trying to catch his breath

"Too bad kid, now remove this curse. I spoke to those arrogant fools from the guild and I assure you this time you will get what you are owed" said Zarra,

Draig sighed and took his index finger and punctured the black causing a black mist to be released, Zarra looked at the method a bit interested but figured he too old to be trying to master a new set of skills.

"I will be leaving, try and clean up that mess you call a fighting style or else your gonna die an early death" said Zarra leaving Draig lying there

Draig slowly lifted himself off the ground groaning from the pain coursing through his body, he pulled out a potion and drank it heartily, he felt it take effect immediately and stood completely before returning to the house. He figured it would be best if he went ahead and tried to practice a bit of the skills he gained from the dwarf bloodline, it was forging and enchanting. He didn't understand how such ugly little creatures could be so resourceful and brilliant but there generations of work had paid off for him now.

He searched the the farmland for stones of the right specifications but found it lacking, he couldn't build a forge like this. He needed materials he himself wasn't sure how to make, he would have to put that plan on hold then.

Draig left for the forbidden zone once again, if he couldn't advance in the bloodline trait of dwarfs then he would advance his System.

Skulking through the forbidden zone like a silent specter of death he searched and searched but found no creatures, he was becoming impatient until he decided to just casually explore the forbidden zone.

Draig collected any plants he saw because of his innate understanding from the goblin bloodline, continuing to explore he consoled himself in the fact that the trip wasn't a complete waste. Until caught scent of blood, Draig smiled at the chances and dashed towards the smells origins.

Looking down he saw two orcs fighting maliciously, he wondered what for.

'These guy rarely fight each other' thought Draig

He waited for the two to fight it out so he would gain an easy meal but they were taking forever, he had to admit there stamina was something to be admired but he was eager for his advancement. Those thoughts guiding his hand he struck quickly aiming for the throat with his claws, the two orcs yelled out in shock before swinging at their assailant.

Draig unprepared for retaliation took the hits head on and coughed up blood, the orcs stared at him angrily before their lifeblood began flowing. Confused about the delay Draig decided he would need to examine or read about monsters but he had no way to contact people unless he ran into them in the forbidden zone.

Shaking his head, Draig stood up and bit into the Orcs crinkling his nose in disgust. Orcs were not cleanly beings as compared to others and the scent assaulting his nose at point blank almost made Draig reconsider but he was too close to advancing to not get his fill.

Before he had even finished consuming the first orc he felt his system ready for advancement taking him to intermediate Vampire status, his hair faded until it was ash colored and his blood consumption became much greater as the orc became a husk within seconds after the advancement.

Draig admired himself for a second before biting into the second orc and within a couple of minutes it was shriveled as well.

Draig searched them and came across some things he found were worth the damage he took initially, a anvil of sorts. He didn't know its origins but he could sense a power coming from it, it was something unique. Among the things he found valuable gems and gold and silver, Draig considered himself lucky and returned to the farm.

Draig was looking at his system and saw he actually had a decision to make as far as his skills went, there was three options available along with his initial upgrades to his existing race traits.

'Bloodmancer, Lords sword skill, Toxic magic' were his options he chose the bloodmancer skill and the Toxic Magic

He saw the tips of his nails become black, apparently it was an active skill.

He arrived at the farm around sunset and sat in his basement staring at the anvil curiously.
