The System of a Vampire

43 Guilds will fall and Armies will burn

It had been a few hours since the battle began and the Guilders were steadily making their way through the hoard of dead Elves. If it hadn't been for these undead then they would have already been wiped out through the sheer numbers of the opposition.

Goeki was surrounded by ghastly green flames while his sword was consumed in black fire, his advancement had mutated and become a Hell Fire Knight. His flames had become vicious and far more deadly than they were before, his range and arsenal of attacks had grown as well.

He was running interference for the undead by striking out at Guilders when the opportunity presented itself but he could only do so much against the onslaught of the entire remaining Guild Association.

Stein meanwhile had headed the army of undead Elves giving a buff to them, he was a Death Knight. His class was meant to be one of the upper echelons of hell, he was meant to lead an undead army to truly show his worth. Still though with this level of pressure being forced upon him he was feeling overwhelmed as he slashed another oncoming Guilder.

During this whole event all those who were part of the Coven were wondering where Draig was and how he was unaware of the situation. Unfortunately they were not in a position to be searching for their leader, they had to assume he would intervene before it was too late.

In the room Draig began to stir and as he woke a pressure began to descend onto the battlefield causing the conflict to halt.

Looking around Draig suddenly caught a sniff of the blood in the air, he felt hungry. His crimson eyes seemed to glow with this thought but he was brought from his hunger as he looked upon the sleeping form next to him.

Draig cracked a small smile as he silently left the bed before tucking Sylvie in gently. Smiling as he left the room his blood lust finally surged forth.

'Who dares to try their might against me' thought Draig as a Murder of Crows flooded the hall until suddenly they disappeared.

Out of the battlefield though everyone was in awe of the pressure they had felt but a few minutes later they noticed the moon light was no longer shining as it was before. In fact, it had even grown darker.

Casting their eyes towards the sky they soon found the cause of the problem. Crows, hundreds of them had crowded and blocked the light of the moon from reaching the earth but that wasn't the most concerning thing.

No, instead they watched as these crows converged in the sky until a human figure was displayed. In the resplendent light of the moon a sinister shadow was cast over this person causing him to be unrecognizable.

Draig looking down upon the Guilders felt his blood boil, it wasn't from anger. Instead it was from his desire finally coming to fruition. He would eliminate all those who had accosted him in the past, the ones who had segregated and secluded him.

A wicked smile played across his face as he called for the elders and the old Elf he had turned mentally, they appeared quickly and the Guild Leaders who had been among the troops froze on the spot witnessing these men appear. They suddenly had a horrible premonition about the outcome of this situation.

"Go and handle your people, keep the strong and cull the week" ordered Draig as he too descended onto the battlefield.

He began calling for the blood on the battlefield, similar to how he had done to create his Rapier funneling the blood on a whim. This blood began to surround Draig and harden until it became a Black Crimson looking light armor, the rest continued funneling until it became a cane head by a skull.

The cane shrunk down before more blood funneled towards it and hardened, this continued several times until it wouldn't condense any further.

"Now we can continue" chuckled Draig looking fierce but elegant in a twisted way.

Pointing forward with his cane a bolt of lightning suddenly shot out and pierced three Guilders, by this point shocking the rest back into action.

He did not care and swung his cane actually crunching the bones of his opponent on impact, it was a brutal scene as this monster casually strolled through the battlefield his eyes on the leaders. Any who stepped onto his path were unable to penetrate his armor and were doomed to receive some sort of attack from the bizarre weapon.

Pointing out with his cane again the crowd became bewildered as they saw the cane itself activate a skill. Multiple blades of wind flung out and cleared the way for Draig to approach the leaders, each of them tensing as they watched this monster step closer to them leisurely.

"Seems we meet again Guild Heads" stated Draig as he surveyed the surroundings casually.

"You may all continue" ordered Draig breaking everyone from their trance.

"On to business, I am curious why you have chosen this moment to make a move. I am sure you are aware of the situation at hand" stated Draig taking a pause to hear some type of response.

"Simple we chose the best moment to get rid of you and your house of freaks." stated the Suave man, he knew it was pointless saying anything else so spoke his mind.

Unfortunately for him his head ended up an ornament on the ground.

"I see, so you would rather be annihilated than to work together for victory" asked Draig concealing his skepticism.

"Who is to say whether we would be annihilated, we saw an opportunity to be rid of you and we took it" answered the Old Potion Master

"I can understand your reasoning but not the timing behind it. It would've done more for you if you had waited and chosen the last battle to be rid of me. It is too late for that option now though" stated Draig tapping his cane on the ground and sending a spike of earth through the Old Potion Masters Chest.

The remaining Guild Masters had reached for their weapon but found themselves frozen on the spot, looking towards Draig they saw into the very depths of this monster's gaze. Overwhelming disgust was the most prevalent of the emotions in that gaze, vindication was a close second with glee being the third. These Guild Masters gave up on their intent to battle causing Draig's gaze to only be filled with more disgust.

'Trash like this doesn't even deserve a chance to fight' thought Draig as he punched the tip of his cane into the bodies of these Guild Master rapidly and they began to shrivel crudely.

A small glow took over the skull on the cane, looking closely you could see a similarity to a certain staff. A pale hand rubbed the top of the skull affectionately as he relished in the screams and sounds of death occurring all around him like a symphony.

'At least these fools were kind enough to bring me more soldiers and resources' thought Draig as a pressure began choking the area.
