Chapter 5.16 – Be Good And Don’t Move

Watching Xiang Han escape, Xu Yan Ze also had no desire to linger. He stood up and said, “This humble one also has matters to deal with. Farewell, Your Majesty.”

Wei Zhao’s expression grew extremely ugly. Just as the two of them were about to cross each other, he suddenly spoke. His voice was low but filled with mockery, “Is this the life that you wanted? It’s been less than a month since your wedding but the Jin family has already arranged for people to warm his bed…”

“You’re crazy.” Xu Yan Ze couldn’t be bothered to entertain him. Saying those two words, he left.

In an instant, Wei Zhao’s face turned green from anger. He smashed his fist into the stone table in front of him, and then… his face nearly contorted from the pain.

Xu Yan Ze arrived at the guild very soon. Meanwhile, Xiang Han had been called by the old madam before he could even leave the manor.

“I heard that you’ve sent Dai Shuang and Cong Lu to the mercenary guild?”

It was the first time Xiang Han heard these names, he didn’t realise who she was talking about. But after hearing the words ‘mercenary guild’ he finally understood and laughed, “Isn’t Yan Ze lacking servants by his side? Oh right, Grandmother, do you still have the… miracle fruit?”

When the old madam heard this, her expression changed and no longer cared about the two servants. “Why are you asking this?”

“It’s… Xu Yan Ze who needs it.”

Every miracle fruit was precious as they required a long time of care and preservation. Moreover, it was only effective for 12 hours upon consumption. Xiang Han deliberately said things in a roundabout manner, hoping that the old madam would give it to him.

Sure enough, the old madam misunderstood and believed that Xu Yan Ze had been stimulated by the servants and had come round to it. She immediately laughed and said, “We do. However, there’s only one left. Your grandmother will call Nanny Li to go get it.”

After leaving the North Courtyard, Xiang Han was holding a brocade box. He felt that it was particularly hot in his hands especially since it was obtained through trickery.

He took a deep breath and silently thought: I’m sorry, grandmother. In the future, I’ll definitely make it up to you.

Considering the possibility that the third prince may still be in Chenghui Courtyard, Xiang Han didn’t return immediately but took a longer route and found the steward. He quietly asked, “Uncle Zhang, what about the matter which I requested for your help earlier?”

When he heard this, Steward Zhang hurriedly pulled him into the warehouse and stuck up a thumb. “Young Master, I’ve just obtained these few jars, they’ve been fermenting for over 50 years. They’re definitely strong.”

“Mn, very good.” Xiang Han nodded and asked, “What about the weak alcohol?”

“What?”

“I’m asking about the wine that won’t make one drunk.”

“Ah, there’s a jar of fruit wine here.”

“Very good.” Xiang Han couldn’t stop nodding and joyously said, “Send all these to Chenghui Courtyard.”

“Everything?” Steward Zhang was surprised.

Xiang Han thought about it and realised that it might be a little impossible to finish all of this. “Mix all the stronger alcohol into one jar and send it over in addition to the fruit wine.”

“Mix?”

“That’s right. Send them all by dinner time.”

Steward Zhang felt his heart ache and after Xiang Han left, he shook his head, “What a waste.”

That night, Xu Yan Ze came back to a table full of food and was astonished, “What’s going on…”

Before he could finish speaking, he saw Xiang Han appear from the inner chamber and froze.

Xiang Han was dressed in red, similar to what he wore in the bridal chamber that night. But because he’d lost weight recently, he appeared even more handsome. Seeing Xu Yan Ze staring at him, he felt embarrassed and asked in a low voice, “What’s wrong?”

“Ahem, nothing.” Xu Yan Ze returned to his senses in an instant, and hurriedly covered it up with a cough, “Is this… what you mean by doing things properly?”

“Yeah.” Xiang Han nodded vigorously. He had to follow through with his act. Since he’d already said so, he would have to do it for real.

He quickly pulled Xu Yan Ze into the next room and pointed at the robes on the bed. “I’ve prepared yours too. Hurry up and put it on.”

Xu Yan Ze stroked the cloth subconsciously, an indescribable joy rose in his heart. He was getting married. The last time didn’t count. It was Yan Xiao Ze’s experience. This time, it was his wedding. Once again, he had a family and even a partner. They’ll stay together for life and grow old together. This was something that he’d never thought about before transmigrating, something he dared not think about.

“Thank you.” He abruptly pulled Xiang Han into an embrace. His voice was filled with repressed emotions.

Xiang Han was stunned. After returning to his senses, he patted Xu Yan Ze’s back and said, “Hurry up and put it on. The food is getting cold.”

“Mn.” Xu Yan Ze finally released him after planting a kiss on his forehead.

Once again, Xiang Han was frozen. He touched his forehead with a tinge of guilt. He had planned to push the other person under him and thus prepared all of this. But Xu Yan Ze seemed to have been… touched by him?

What to do? He suddenly couldn’t bring himself to do it.

He silently slipped away. After looking at the two jugs of wine on the table, he encouraged himself: Everything was in place now, the last step was all that’s needed. He definitely couldn’t be soft-hearted now!

[Is Big A there? Later on no matter what, as long as it’s not life-threatening, don’t pull me back.] He suddenly recalled this matter and quickly reminded the system. He really didn’t want to leave a psychological trauma.

[Don’t worry, Mr Xiang. We won’t do something so immoral.] Big A said regretfully.

[Mn.] Xiang Han nodded in satisfaction. After thinking about it carefully, he made sure that there was nothing wrong before sitting down at the table.

Soon, Xu Yan Ze came out. His jade-like skin made him appear even more stunning. Xiang Han couldn’t help but fall into a daze and when the other man finally stood in front of him, he quickly got up to pour their drinks.

The corners of Xu Yan Ze’s lips rose and after taking the cup, he asked, “Why did you bring the entire wine jar here?”

He coughed, “I heard that you drank with my cousins with bowls. I was afraid there wouldn’t be enough.”

“That was in order to get them drunk. Today is our wedding night, how can we drink to that extent?” Xu Yan Ze expressed. After pouring out a cup for himself, he poured one for Xiang Han.

Xiang Han quickly stopped him. He picked up another jar and told him, “I’m drinking this one.”

Seeing the suspicion on Xu Yan Ze’s face, he explained, “Didn’t I just recover? My stomach is still weak, can’t I drink fruit wine instead?” Sometimes the truth was more believable than lies. This was something Xu Yan Ze had taught him.

Sure enough, Xu Yan Ze’s heart ached upon hearing this. He put down the jar and said, “Since that’s the case, you shouldn’t drink any.”

“No, it’s okay. It’s important to exchange a cup of wine. At the very least, I can still drink a little. But you don’t have to mind me, just drink to your heart’s content.” Xiang Han hurriedly refused. What a joke. If there was no one to accompany him to drink, how would Xu Yan Ze be bothered to drink by himself?

“Alright, then just drink less.” Recalling how the physician said there was nothing major, Xu Yan Ze relaxed.

The two of them shared a moment before breaking out into laughter. Then, they both picked up their cups and linked their arms, finishing it in one go.

Xu Yan Ze was evidently excited. As long as it was Xiang Han who poured the wine, he would finish it all up.

After some time, Xiang Han couldn’t help but grow wary. Why was this person getting more sober the more he drank?

Watching Xiang Han pour yet another cup for him, Xu Yan Ze finally stopped him. He turned to look at the other person expectantly, “Little fool. Don’t you think it’s time for us to go to rest?”

“Ah? Ah, y-yeah. One more… this is the last.”

Thinking that the effects of alcohol would only grow stronger over time, Xiang Han put aside his worry. After finishing the meal, he helped the other person take a bath and deliberately dragged out the time.

When they changed into another set of clothes and returned to their chambers, Xu Yan Ze was unsurprisingly unsteady on his feet. His eyes seemed clear but when he gazed in a direction, he was silent.

“Yan Ze?” Xiang Han probed.

Xu Yan Ze turned around to look at him. With a small grin, he called out, “Little Fool.”

Xiang Han coughed lightly, “You’re not allowed to call me Little Fool.”

“What do I call you, then?” Xu Yan Ze looked at him doubtfully.

Xiang Han saw his expression and immediately gained a new hope for pushing him down. He tried again, “Call me hubby.”

Xu Yan Ze nodded and obediently called out, “Hubby.”

A grin immediately broke out on Xiang Han’s face. He lifted his claw and touched his face. Mustering up his courage, he ordered, “Be good, take off all your clothes and lie down. You’re not allowed to move.”

He didn’t refuse and immediately followed accordingly. Xiang Han grew excited, “As expected, you’re only obedient after you’re drunk.”

“What?” Xu Yan Ze turned back, puzzled.

“Nothing.” Xiang Han quickly pushed him down and happily said, “Be good and don’t move. Your hubby is going to love you.”

Saying so, he smoothly removed his robes and got onto Xu Yan Ze’s body. After kissing and touching him over, he saw that Xu Yan Ze didn’t resist and let out a chuckle.

At this time, Xu Yan Ze’s face was bright red and his fists were tightly clenched by his side, evidently having endured for a painfully long time. To avoid being detected, he had turned to face away to hide his expression.

In reality, he had already suspected something amiss when Xiang Han was pouring one cup after another for him. Especially since this wine was the kind that wouldn’t cause one to feel its effects immediately, but grew over time. He was evidently trying to get him drunk.

After realising this point, he immediately grew alert. If he continued to drink, there was a high possibility the little fool might succeed. Thus, he had to call for a stop, wanting to see what the other person was planning.

He never imagined that this was what Xiang Han had been plotting. It was truly a tooth-achingly sweet surprise. With the blood rushing to his head, he had to hold himself back from flipping Xiang Han down onto the bed and pressing him under his body. At the same time, he was curious as to what Xiang Han would do and thus, chose to endure.

Xiang Han continued to caress him and after he believed that the foreplay had gone on long enough, his hands inched downwards. In an instant, alarm bells rang through Xu Yan Ze’s head. This situation… seemed a bit off?

He never thought that under the little fool’s delicious-looking appearance laid the heart of a gong. This was impossible. Everything else aside, the little fool’s technique alone wasn’t good enough. A while ago he had spent much effort to study all those books he got from Jin Er. His experience was definitely more than this little fool’s.

Finally, he could no longer bear it and flipped Xiang Han around, pinning him onto the bed. His hands expertly reached towards his robes across the bed and retrieved the jade ointment. As if he’d done it before, he poured out a substantial amount before reaching towards a certain place.

This series of actions was as fluid as running water. Xiang Han was stunned and frozen stiff until he felt something foreign invade him. He abruptly regained his senses and began to struggle, “You were faking it?”

Xu Yan Ze firmly pinned him down while his hands continued to work. Feigning ignorance, he asked, “Faking what, Hubby?”

“I…” Xiang Han choked before looking at him suspiciously. He tried to get up while asking, “Didn’t I tell you not to move?”

“But I feel that moving will make it feel better.” Xu Yan Ze adopted an aggrieved expression but his hands did not stop. While talking, he’d already entered Xiang Han. Taking advantage of the tipsiness from the alcohol, he wantonly began to move without refrain.

With a groan, Xiang Han’s breaths grew urgent. He was like a tiny sail amidst the stormy sea, dreaming of a chance to struggle.

However, Xu Yan Ze deliberately called out to him, ‘Hubby, am I going too slow?’ or ‘Hubby, does it feel good?’. This infuriated Xiang Han until he’d ran out of breath and could only beg for mercy through sobs.

Watching Xiang Han escape, Xu Yan Ze also had no desire to linger. He stood up and said, “This humble one also has matters to deal with. Farewell, Your Majesty.”
