3rd Person's POV (4 yrs. and 4 months old)

Life Moon form, Death Moon form, and Light and Dark Moon magic, seems like he got some new skills to test out, although he already know how to use the other elements, and are planning to create new ones out of light and dark magic, mehhh..... this might still work for him!

His smile turned up to a small smirk.

Though these skills came from the Moon, or created by the Moon, therefore these skills are also incorporated by the power of the Moon. Or is it a Light and Dark magic version of the Moon, or was it Moon's version of Light and Dark magic....? Huh? Now he’s confused, But... Yeah.... Ugh! Who is he kidding......

Thoughts taking a fleeting moment to be grasped, his stare at the ceiling felt like it could bore holes through, White just laying beside him on the pillow, staring at his host.

'Why are you talking to someone? Who -apparently- isn't there?'

'Shush White, I'm just conversing with the people at the 4th screen or wall for that matter.'

'Huh, the 4th what now?... haha, you and your silly ways.'

*Flushes internally*

'You didn't have to tease me!'

'Mmmh' still White’s chuckles were caught by Ken’s ears, him pouting childishly at the orb of white beside him. Smiling off that playful banter, he contentedly sighed and hugged the blanket to himself.

A thought came to him. He held out both his hands, focusing on the two energies at the palm.

One white orb having silvery black streaks appeared on his right palm and a dark orb having silvery white streaks appeared on his left palm, both are unstable for a moment.

‘WOW! They look so shiny!!!! Nope! Wait! Let's Focus! aaaannnnnddddddd...... There! They're stable now.’

‘Looking at it from close range, both emit strong magical powers, wait strong magical powers!? Oh I will be royally screwed if both my parents notice something off within my bedroom, more specifically the house! Quick, Create, Spacial Arcane and Elemental Barrier!’

‘Phew~ the room radiates a purple glow now, oh what's this?’

[You have successfully combined three types of magic to create a strong barrier, to make it far more stronger, would you like to incorporate also the light and dark magic?]

"Yes please." He replied not minding the jolly tone he used.

[Modifications complete! Skill in effect]

‘Woah! The surroundings of my walls look like space! Seems like mixing space, light, dark, arcane, and elemental magic really did the trick.’ Turning his gaze around, he nodded of his work. ‘Commence invisibility of the barrier.’

[Commencing command. Command in effect.]

‘The window system is on voice command, oh no wait, more like, my spells are on voice and thought command, including my windows too, I just said that didn't I? meh......’

A big yawn escaped his lips, with a content sigh he smiled to himself.

‘I'm going to sleep now... because it's already night, and in case you were wondering, I had just a little bit playtime with my scythe earlier this afternoon, at first it was hard since the handle would sometimes hit me on my head

But after a couple twirling and tossing into the air and catching it without grazing my arms, I'm pretty stable on it now, and as for the other two, they learned how to use their weapons pretty quickly, as they had taken half the time to get the hang of their weapons compared to mine, which was four hours later. hehe...

I'm sleepy goodnight!’ as do his thoughts drift through.

Third Person's POV (Ken 4yrs. and 8 months old)

Seeing as it had already been 4 months ago since the three companions had chosen to pick their weapon of choice, everyday they are trained vigorously, I know boring right? with their days only spent on training, but they’re kids, and in the mind of the author or more like their parent's minds, it's better to be prepared for the future, in this world where the strong tramples over the weak, oh but Ken, Wilbert, and Celine are strong, like really strong.

While the three are training under the heat of the sun, casting spells, weaving and slashing their weapons, or in Celine's case, shooting arrows, the three pairs of parents,-namely Ken's, Wilbert's, and Celine's Parents-, are sitting under the shade of a tree at the edge, south of the field, the adults are situated at a circle, seemingly discussing among themselves.

"I think the kids are strong enough to wonder even deeper to the forest, but into the elder forest, just where the majority of the weak monsters are situated." said Alfred, Ken's father.

"I agree with you Alfred, what's more better in learning how to fight, is to actually be in a fight." seconded by Erick, Wilbert's father.

"But won't they get hurt?" asked Kel, Celine's mother.

"Yeah, it'll be too dangerous for kids their age." said Vin, Celine's father.

"Don't worry, we'll accompany them in the shadows, because as you all know, my wife here is really good at illusions, and once we see other monsters that are too much for our kids to handle, we shall handle it ourselves." said Alfred.

"Oh you, stop complimenting my skills, compared to yours, I feel like an ant to a lion." said Lyn, Ken's mother, acting all dreamy and looked away from her husband, Alfred hugged his wife, and spoke sweet words to her making the both of them giggle. Sigh, Young adults.

"EHEM!... sorry for interrupting, let's go back to the topic at hand, so you mean, you want us to fight too Alfred?" asked Lorna, Wilbert's mother.

"Yes, and it would also be wise to exercise our magic, we might not know anytime soon, we would undergo a tragedy, and all of us are not prepared, what would happen to our children?" said Alfred, sentimental words coming off in waves through his words.

"Oh yeah, we heard about what happened to you in the past, but let's focus on the present, on the contrary, you're idea seems great, I'll allow you to let my daughter experience battle, since she would just stay at a nearby tree whenever me and my warriors are out and hunting with her." said Vin.

"Okay, now that we're all settled, we should probably be on our way, seeing as we still have to prepare for our meals." said Kel.

"I agree with her, I better go home to-." said Lorna, but got interrupted.

"And who said you guys would be going home, everyone in this circle are to take part in the hunt with the kids." said Alfred.

"You're kidding right?" said Lorna.

"Nope, I'm not kidding, don't think you'll get away again Lorna, last time I checked you're having trouble remembering how to evoke spells, but no worries me and my wife shall take the privilege of refreshing with you the spells that has been taught to us when we were still at the academy,

and If any one of you tries to sneak out of the group, within 500 meters away, you will be teleported back to the group, hehe." said Alfred smugly.

"Harsh, didn't think you'd drag us into this, but oh well, we're all here might as well get on with it." said Erick.

"That's the spirit! Now let's go tell the kids, Hey KIDS!." said Alfred all the while the others Erick excluded, are dumbfounded by Alfred's statement, but composed themselves a while after the initial shock and started packing out their things for the said trip to the forest.

Luckily, Alfred told everyone in advance to bring their own gear and weapon, Lyn, as a battle mage as she is, carries around with her, her staff with a sapphire jewel at the top, tightly secured to the staff with metal bindings with runes running along its lines,

And with a couple of chanting, evoke her mage dress, that of a robe with off shoulders, which clung tight to her curvy body while the lower part was loose, her get up looks like a T-shirt and shorts, but with leather boots up to her lower knees and the robe of course, with a strap she secured her staff at her back.

Meanwhile Kel and Vin are only wearing their tribes clothing, while Vin is carrying two curved swords, and Kel carrying bracelets. Lorna, who is an experienced battle mage, decided to be a support for the team, and brought with her, her floating orb of power,

Able togrant buffs and debuffs, while Erick, brought with him his Knight armor, with a shield and a double-edged sword, his armor is designed with gold linings, and the chest is shaped that of a lion.

And lastly Alfred, who only whore pants, a blue t-shirt and a leather jacket, coupled with gloves, as a battle mage along with Lyn and Lorna, did not carry with him any weapons, because he is experienced in fighting in close combat with or without magic, he has profound control over his magic.

After Alfred told the three kids of his plan, he quickly teleported them three 1 mile north of the field, and quickly ran back to their group and teleported themselves near the three only 1 mile northwest of the field.

The three were at a loss for words of the sudden teleportation, they looked at one another, trying to understand what just happened, and then returned to look in front, they each took a deep breath before exhaling in a controlled manner.

Now completely understanding their current situation they each could think clearly and plan for their next action. Ken turned to look at the other two at his right and said…

"Since papa has told us about what we should be doing here, we need to devise first a battle strategy to better tackle any situation we may encounter."

"You're right, first let us know what our roles would be, I shall be the one to lure out the monsters and make them focus on me so you guys can focus on taking it down." said Wilbert. Status: Apprentice Warrior

"I'll be on the lookout for monsters and know their locations, I'll attack from afar." said Celine. Status: Apprentice Archer(Sniper)

"Then I'll invoke buffs and debuffs, offensive and defensive spells, to assist and kill any monsters we'll come across, but of course I'll use my scythe too, hehe." said Ken. Status: Apprentice Battle Mage

"Now that we know our roles, let's go hunting!" said Wilbert in an excited tone and pumped his fist into the air-

"Yeah!!!" replied and followed by the other two. Ken noticed a blinking red light at the corner of his vision and willed his windows to open, he saw the red dot at the mission tabs, and opened it.

A quest/mission popped at his mission bar, and it stated, that they kill 20 monsters in the forest, and it also stated of a reward that will be given upon completion of the task, and a punishment if the task is not completed.

The reward and punishment was not stated, making Ken confused, but he closed the windows and averted his attention to the task at hand, while White is just quietly observing at the sidelines.

"I command thee, Arcane Magic: Area Sweep!" Ken activated the spell to scan over half a mile radius to see where the monsters of the forest are located, from afar the spell looked like a sweep of light, and illuminates the area under its effect.

In Ken's mind, every life form are illuminated in white color except for the occasional monsters with red color, animals are no exemption, only their color looks calm and content, while the monsters color looks chaotic and crackling with energy, preferably visible as red lightning, coursing through their body.

Ken cannot clearly picture out the shape of the living organisms -preferably animals monsters and even humans- around him, but the landscape looks just as it was before, along with the plants and trees and buildings -if ever there is one-, he discovered a monster northwest near their area.

"I found one, its north west of here." said Ken.

"Alright let's go." said Wilbert.

The three quickly went to the direction and upon arriving near a river, they saw a big wild boar with big and sharp tusks eating the remains of a deer, 100 meters away from them. This is no ordinary boar, as it eats like a starving carnivore -kind of like how wolves eat-, and upon close inspection, it's an evolution of a wild boar, a monster boar.

"Let's do this, Celine, go and climb a tree." said Wilbert, turning to his left.

"On it." said Celine.

"And Ken, let's lure it." said Wilbert, turning to his right.

"Okay." replied Ken.

Celine quickly climbed a nearby tree, where she can see the boar, and positioned herself so she would have a better aim at the target, while the other two prepared their weapons, Wilbert holding his sword on his right hand and his shield on his left arm, Ken held his scythe on his right arm with the tip of its blade facing away.

"Celine fire a poison arrow at it first, to slow its movements." said Ken.

"Okay!" Celine placed and draw a green arrow at the boar, and released it hitting the target close to its neck by its back.

A trickle of blood could be seen, the boar shouted an ear deafening sound, and the group quickly covered their ears to stop their eardrums from bursting, once the sound died down, the boar is already charging at the two.

"Quick dodge it!" The two separated from each other, as the boar went passed them.

"Taunt!*AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!*" Wilbert quickly casted an attention turning spell, and the boar directed its attention then charged at him to try and tackled him, which Wilbert easily dodged.

While he was dodging, another arrow flew into the air, the arrow was accompanied by the magic of the wind thus making it fly fast and hit the boar square in its left eye, blood gushing out it.

*SCREAAMMMM-*

"Arcane Magic: sound alteration, low volume!" Ken casted a spell directly at the boar that dissipated its sounds, making it look like a lunatic boar, screaming without a sound.

"Let's finish this, Ice Magic: freeze!" casted Ken, covering the lower body of the boar in thick blocks of ice.

"Enchanted Arrows: Duplicate Light!" Celine released a light arrow that split into two that circled one another then hit boar, with the incredible speed of light magic, the two arrows passed through the boars body creating two large holes the size of a tennis ball (A.N.: I inserted that, because I don't know how big I want the hole to be.), and the arrows stick themselves to the ground, the light of the arrow dissipating and merging into one.

"Sword Style: Triple Cut!" Wilbert quickly slashed his sword three times creating light waves that cut the boar thrice, breaking the blocks of ice at the bottom, but the boar still stands although breathing heavily, it started to charge at Wilbert, but with Ken's quick actions.

"Light Moon Magic: Cut of the Crescent Moon." he swiped a crescent shape from the bottom to the top vertically at the boar cutting the boar in half, effectively killing the creature.

*Sigh*

Ken, Wilbert and Celine heaved a sigh of relief, upon the end of the battle. Celine jumped down from the tree she was on, and met with the two, the three had smiles on their faces upon the completion of their first kill,

And decided to proceed with their task, while their parents watched them from afar, cloaked by Lyn's Illusion Magic, they can't help but sprout proud smiles across their faces of what their children had achieved, and of their teamwork.

Ken casted his searching spell again, and found out that a few monsters, a number of 10, 5 of them coming together, while 2 are together, and the other 3 are separated, all of these monsters attracted by the battle that broke out a few moments ago.

"Get ready you two, 10 monsters are approaching our location, surrounding us, Celine climb back again at a tree and see which monsters are approaching fast." said Ken, upon finishing his spell.

"Got it." said Celine and quickly climbed a tree near the two.

"Blessing of the Mother Nature: Nature's shields! Blessing of the Beastial Instincts: Focused senses of the Wild!" casted Ken, Buffing up Wilbert, giving him extra boosts in battle.

"Now that that's done, what do you see Celine?!" asked Ken in Celine's direction.

"It seems to be that a pack of 5 monsters are fast approaching our location, while two are not so far behind them, all 7 are coming north of our location, the other three are at the last, one is southwest, the other southeast, while the last one is west of our location." said Celine.

"Ready your arrows, and home 10 arrows at the monsters, all using slowing magic." said Ken.

"On it." said Celine, and prepared 1 slowing arrow on her bow and aimed at the sky.

"Multiply and slow my enemy’s pursuit, Enchanted Arrows: Multiple Slowing Seekers!" Celine released the arrow upward and multiplying into ten in the sky before changing direction and going directly at the 10 monsters approaching them, each hitting the monsters and slowing down their movements.

"I call the power of the Forest, show your wrath upon these monsters, Nature Magic: Forest Domain!" spreading his hands and channeling nature energy, into the palms of his hands, it created green glowing orbs that started to control the trees and plants around them,

Just in time for the 5 monsters showed up closely accompanied by the other 2, who seems to be flying in pair, followed by the other three, upon close inspection, the 5 monsters looks like wolves, the other two are large predator birds, and the other three are respectively looking like, a lion, a tiger, and a big snake.

The trees around them popped vines that held down the monsters still, the monsters struggled for a while and roared and hissed and screeched in anger, but still got immobilized.

"Target the pack of wolves first Wil! As they will be a problem if left together!" said Ken, while still channeling energy.

"On it." with three full strides Wilbert is directly in front of the pack of restrained wolves, he jumped into the air and dived into the center pointing his sword at the ground.

"Sword Magic: Porcupine Spears!" Long shaped swords of translucent energy stabbed the wolves multiple times around him, killing them effortlessly.

"Celine, kill the birds." said Ken.

"Right! Enchanted Arrows: Double element, Water and Fire!" Celine released two arrows, one blazing fire and the other a torrent of water, upon hitting their targets, one got burned down alive, and the other missing its main body and dismantled parts due to the force of the water, killing the two creatures.

"Now let me handle this." Ken released his hold of the forest's energy and the vines strangling the other three had its strength weakening. The big snake slithered out if its hold, while the lion and tiger monsters, slashed at the vines with their sharp claws, all three turning to Ken.

The snake quickly made action and slithered towards him, but---

"Arcane Magic: Telekinesis." Ken casted a spell that held the snake still, the other two monsters charged at his directions but with Ken's quick reaction, waved his hand and the body of the snake slapped the other two monsters sending them flying the other direction and landing near a boulder.

The tiger and lion, shook their heads to pry out their dizziness, Ken walked near them, and with the big snake still under his spell, directed his hands to the two monsters and wrapped the snake to the two monsters, tying the three into a bundle.

With the three not being able to move and their heads not being able to stretch or pull, with a wave of his hand, Ken draw a magic circle white in color, below the three monsters and chanted---

"Moon of this planet, send upon your light, to cleanse this monsters of evil, Light Moon Magic: Moon's Ray!" a silver light shined down upon the three monsters, disintegrating them down to a molecular level without leaving a mark or blood. The silver light dissipated and left small balls of light that disappeared too.

The ground was spared as it still appeared normal.

Wilbert and Celine joined Ken upon defeating the other three monsters, and rejoiced for their second victory, the battle may seem easy for them, but that is only because the monsters they have faced, are that of the weaker tier.

The group realized this outcome, the first to notice was Celine, seeing as she was not that very confident in her skills to wound a monster rather than kill it, so she was surprised by the results.

"Ken, Wil, I think the monsters we had just fought earlier, are weaker than I thought." said Celine.

"I thought so too, and seeing as I was able to kill 5 monsters at once, we must still be on lower grounds where weak monsters are located." replied Wilbert.

"I agree with you, although fighting those monsters were easy, we still aren't finished with the task at hand, and with the results of the battle, I think it's safe to say that we proceed further into the forest and enter its jungle portion, to better know the limitations of our skills and power, and to finish what we came here to do." said Ken.

"But we can't proceed to the jungle with an empty stomach, let's have lunch first, I'm starving." said Wilbert, thinking about food, the other two chuckled at his statement.

"You and your stomach again." replied Celine, as to which Wilbert crossed his arms and pouted.

"Oh don't be such a big baby, I shall cook the meat of the boar we killed earlier, although we have to clean and butcher it first to effectively use the meat." and upon the mention of meat, Wilbert's eyes shined in anticipation, and his mouth watered.

"I'll help!" Wilbert said enthusiastically.

"*chuckles* Me too." said Celine.

"Let's go, and let's be quick, there's no telling what kind of monsters still lurch within these forests." Ken said, caution, and alertness, evident on his voice.
