Zhao Lifei continued to pretend they were a newlywed couple which earned her a lot of freebies along the way. She saw it as a joke, but Yang Feng took it differently.

He was wistfully whisked away by her words, his brain humming joyful tunes as if he was on cloud nine. He stopped complaining and tugging her away from the stalls and was actually pulling her towards them just so she could continue whatever she was doing. He loved this side of her, with her arms wrapped around his biceps and a brilliant smile on that lovely face of hers.

After shopping, Yang Feng was still happy and compliant, even when they got into the car and the items were placed in the trunk. He turned towards his "wife," a grin on his face. "So wifey, are we going to complete the final stage of our married life—"

"Maybe in your dreams," She chuckled, sitting as far as she could from him and his wandering hands. Yang Feng scooted to her just as she scooted away and soon, she was pressed against the car window with Yang Feng hovering over her like a moth drawn to a flame.

Yang Feng placed the soundproof partition up. "We can't disappoint the stall owners now…" He teased, leaning in for a kiss which she tried to dodge, but couldn't as she has nowhere to run.

When their lips met, she stopped fighting against him as she tried to sync their lips. He greedily kissed her, his lips molding over hers, branding her as his, while she attempted to match his vigor.

He pulled back to allow her to breathe for the slightest second before kissing her deeply again, one hand going behind her neck, angling her head, while the other began to travel up her waist to which her body arched against his when his fingers brushed close to her bosom.

He began to place small kisses trailing from her jaw to her neck, finding his favorite spot where he bit down, causing a gasp of shock to leave her lips while she pressed a hand to her lips, muffling her moan when he licked the same area, blowing on it to soothe the pain before sucking on it, leaving a mark behind.

In a frenzy, he began to unbutton her top when she weakly squeaked out, "N-no…"

That was all it took for him to draw back, breathing hard but giving her space. He marveled at his work, the glaring red mark on her white as snow skin, her eyes slightly glazed over, her mouth parted, her lips looking so inviting, he wanted to devour her again.

She whispered, "N-not in the car…"

Yang Feng readily nodded, slightly disappointed that the two had stopped, but a bit glad that she had grown the courage to reject him instead of freezing on the spot and letting him have his way. He brushed the hair away from her face, the other hand settling on her cheek.

"Does that mean we can continue in the house?" He teased, leaning in for a quick kiss on her forehead before he began to button up her blouse, fixing her appearance for her, knowing she was particularly sensitive of it.

"Dream on."

"I always do."

He winked. She rolled her eyes.

Yang Feng sat on one of the kitchen counter stools, awestruck by the delightful scene before him. She looked so exquisite, so delectable, a complete temptation as she cooked for him. His eyes were glued to her, following every small movement of her body.

When she turned around, pan in hand, a plate in front of her, Yang Feng swallowed. Her face was slightly flushed, her hair a bit messy, sticking to her forehead while she cooked up a storm. She had unbuttoned her top a bit, revealing the dip of her breasts, teasing him, his eyes dilating when she bent over a bit to place the food onto the plate. She was torturing him, arousing him without even trying.

Yang Feng ground his teeth, his jaw going taut. Such a seductress this one was.

"I can practically feel you burning a hole through me." She mused, sprinkling chopped chives onto the final dish before settling the pan down, untying her apron.

"Stop looking at me and start eating your dinner."

Yang Feng lowly grumbled, "I'd rather eat you."

"Hm?" She asked, not hearing he said.

Yang Feng smirked, leaning closer, deciding to be mischievous and tease her as much as she had unknowingly done to him when her phone suddenly went off and she ran off to get it. Damnation! He cursed loudly inside of his head, ready to smash the device to pieces.

When he heard "Grandfather," he frowned. Of course, the old man would be calling her at this time.

"Yes, I have a dress picked out...Mhm, it suits the theme...Yes, I did go home today, but only for a short while— Well, you were at work and I didn't want to disturb you— Of course, of course, I know…"

She continued the conversation, causing Yang Feng to sulk by himself while he angrily chewed his food and aggressively drinking his soup. Her cooking was incredible, flavors exploding in his mouth. It was one of the most delicious things he ever ate, but he could not properly enjoy it because his lady was too busy talking to someone other than him. Granted, she was being a good and filial granddaughter, but he was a clingy man and he wanted her attention on him, always.

When he saw she was absentmindedly walking closer to him, he seized the chance to grab her waist, pulling her towards him. He wiped his mouth with a napkin, setting the utensil down to hug her. Because he was still seated and she was standing, he rested his head onto her body, like a needy child.

Zhao Lifei paused whatever she was saying before running a hand through his hair in quiet reassurance. "Yes, Grandfather, I understand… No, he hasn't asked yet— Huh, who told you? Yes, I did meet with Yang Enterprise— I'm planning on making the debut in a couple of weeks…"

Yang Feng could not resist it anymore. He was about to grab her phone, but right then, she nodded her head.

"Alright, have a good night grandfather." She placed the phone down, deciding it was time to address the clingy Yang Feng who had an upset expression that resembled a neglected puppy.

"The food has gone cold." He snapped, like a housewife angrily waiting for her husband to come home.

She chuckled at his behavior, running her fingers through his hair again, gently massaging his scalp, watching as the fire in his eyes slowly died out. "I'll reheat it—"

"It'll change the flavor."

"Then don't complain," She retorted, sitting down beside him.

"I have a new rule," He spoke up while attentively scooping the soup into a small bowl for her. "No phones on the dinner table from now on."

"The same goes for you then."

He grinned, placing the soup in front of her. "Of course."

To him, it was a fair exchange. No one dared to send him work so late at night, given his grouchiness. Only Chen Gaonan was stupid enough to email him schedule reminders, but it was part of his job, so Yang Feng ignored it.
