Liu Rachael had to silently grit her teeth, unable to speak her thought to Duan Chengyu.

"I prefer having brunch, that way I'll save money on buying food once rather than twice."

She saw as his smile widened when he heard the reason she gave for not eating breakfast early in the morning. This made her heart flutter from their dazzling effect.

"I see, but you don't have to worry about that anymore, because you now have free access to the food in the pantry and kitchen and when it runs out I can always have the driver either send you to the grocery store or have the food delivered to the house."

Liu Rachael stared at him, "Is he for real?!"

Duan Chengyu reached across to gentle brush her hair to the side, that seemed to pull her out of her temporary stupor. There was hardly any space left between them, as her brėȧst lightly brushed that of his ċhėst, if she thought her cheek was already hot, they became even more inflamed from the closeness.

"I..I'm...Sor..ry...Chair...man...Duan....I'll...have...break...fast...with..you...some other time!"

As soon as she words left her mouth, Liu Rachael fled to her room, forgetting that she hadn't finished serving the remaining breakfast that was on the kitchen counter.
