The Tycoon's Secret Bride

A male officer stood by the vending machine when Duan Chengyu walked up to him to ask about his helper. The policeman turned to look at who was calling for him, surprisingly he saw two well dressed men rather than the single voice he heard earlier. He gave each of them a nod and said, "Good morning, if you make a left you will see a double door straight ahead, go through it and all the way to the end of the corridor you will see a sign that reads "patrol unit" that's where you may your friend."

"Thank you officer!"

"No problem, that's what I'm here for."

The two shook hands as both Duan Chengyu and his driver briskly walked to where the policeman had directed them. Shortly after, they saw a single glass door whom from the outside came voices from within and phone ringing almost none stop. Pulling at the metal handle by the door, the Chairman of Cinopec Group walked inside to see six officers in plain uniform on their desk and a woman sat by one of them. When they saw who walked in, all the eyes in the room kept following the two men.

"Good morning, is there an Officer Song here?!"

From the time Duan Chengyu spoke to the other officer that led him to the patrol unit, up until when he walked into the office, he managed to maintain the veneer of civility while speaking, even though his mind was in disarray. He looked around, but could not see his helper, while he did this the policeman he was asking about rose up from his seat to look at him squarely in the eyes.

"Yes, I'm here for her. Where is she?!"

Not seeing Liu Rachael at the patrol unit made Duan Chengyu to lose his composure, causing him to raise his voice at the police officer.
