The Universe Conspired For Us To Meet

"Tring! Tring! Tring!"

"Why is it that when I'm in the middle of something important only I've someone interrupting me with their calls or knocks?" Ronnie was exasperated.

"It's okay darling, it must be something important. Or else why would somebody call you. Go now. We'll continue later." Jayne winked at Ronnie and tried to comfort him with a peck on his lips.

She put on the shirt and tidied her messed up hair with the blush still hanging on her face.

Though Ronnie felt slightly better, he nevertheless  cursed inwardly for those extremely disturbing calls at the wrong time.

"Hello?" Ronnie said over the phone.

Sensing his Master's annoyed tone, the butler blurted out, "Good afternoon sir! Sorry to disturb you. But Madam Shirley Symonds is here."

In between all his busy activities, Ronnie had totally forgotten that it was Christmas today and he'd told Shirley to do their dress today as well.

"Oh right! Get the driver to bring her here to Seaview.(AN: The name of the mansion) We'll get ready from here only. Also ask her if she's had her lunch. Make sure to treat her well." Ronnie instructed the Butler and hung up.

"Jayne quick go shower. Shirley is on her way. We need to get ready for today's party." Ronnie told Jayne.

Jayne answered, "Party? But I don't even know anybody. I guess you should be going alone Ronnie. I'll stay back here and relax till you come back."

Ronnie didn't reply but walked up to her picked her up and started heading towards the washroom.

Jayne was taken aback by him suddenly picking her up. She gasped and tightened her grip around him. "Ronnie! Put me down! You took me by surprise. Uff!"

"Let's shower together. Saves water. Saves time. I can even seal your nonstop ranting mouth." Ronnie whispered in her ears.

Jayne's ears turned red and slowly the redness starting creeping up to her face. "No! No! I can shower myself. You don't come with me." She hurriedly freed herself and ran to the washroom and locked the door and rested against the door of  the bathroom.

Ronnie chuckled and walked out of the room.

James and his team went to the Army Headquarters to meet General Abey Chopra. But since the bombings had caused huge destruction to life and property everywhere, an investigation team under the head of General Abey Chopra was created.

When the team went to visit the General, he was not present at his office. So they decided to drop off the documents at the General's office.

Daniel West then called Ronnie to inform him about the progress. He ordered them to come back to London.

So the entire team took the next flight back to London.

What they didn't know was though the documents were kept right on the General's table, the office cleaning staff who had come to clean the General's office, misplaced the documents while rearranging the other files.

Thus, even when the General returned back to his office, it didn't reach him since it had got mixed up with the other files. Since he was too busy, he didn't even get to contact Ronnie too.
