The Upgrade System

"What? A system really, what can you do?!?!"

[With the Upgrade System you can everything. For example, you can upgrade your shoes and it might give it an upgrade in agility]

[Note: Upgrade requires UP points and there is a chance of failure with the UP points and the item being lost]

[Dected that the user is in an injured state so the system will heal the user as a gift]

"Wow that's cool and now with a system, I can become rich!"

"I am happy about all of that but what's with this requirement being unknown, if I don't know what to do, how can I do it?"

[As the host gets stronger, the requirements will be revealed]

"I will look into this when I get home."

As Dan was walking home, he stumbled upon an old lady who needed help crossing the busy road but most people were just ignoring her and he wouldn't go out of his way too much to help others out, this didn't get in his way since he needed to cross the street as well he decides to help her out.

Right as Dan and the old lady crossed the street a notification from the system rang.

[Sub Quest: help 5 different people]

[Reward: Beginners Pack, 10 UP points]

[Accept or Reject]

Obviously, with such a simple quest Dan accepted.

With that quest accepted, Dan started to look for anyone he could help but surprisingly, no one needed help.

Just like that Dan got home.

As he got into his room, he saw a picture of himself and Lily together after they had graduated college 2 years ago.

It brought back memories of how they used to hang out every day and all the things they did.

Actually he still couldn't understand the abrupt ending of their relationship. They even had plans to go to the beach next Saturday but guess that's not coming true.

As he kept thinking about that he slowly fell asleep.
