The Upgrade System

Jason took his remaining men back to his base and as he was going there, he started to ask some questions to the system.

'Can you tell how powerful that new mutated deer was?'

{It was a Qi Gathering Stage 2 deer}

'What!? Something that powerful was just a stage 2 animal?'

'I am a Stage 1 cultivator, shouldn't that mean I am close to its level? Why couldn't I even fight back.'

{Each stage is about 50% more powerful compared to the previous stage. It isn't exact and some people can become more powerful but that is very rare}

'Doesn't this mean that the gap between each stage will keep expanding the higher leveled you are?'

{Yep, you got that right. The 50% boost will mean a lot more as you keep going through the levels. This is especially the case when you break through to a whole new realm}

'Why? Isn't it the same as breaking through the stage but just a different ranking system?'

{Oh no, I can see why you would think that as you have just become a cultivator but breaking through a realm puts you in a completely different position}

'Well, how much stronger do you get?'

Jason finished off his question as he got to his base and decided to go to his room to rest and think about his next steps.

He quickly thought up a very simple plan.

He would bring his gang with him to the edge of the forest to kill a level 1 mutated animal along with some vehicles this time to run away if he needed to in order to see the exp that he could get from killing a level 1 mutated animal.

Depending on the amount of exp he would get, he had different plans.
