Touring around the Iron Mountain Temple, Shen Futian couldn’t help but think of the origin of this Tieshan Temple.

According to legend, this Tieshan Temple was built at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, and when it comes to building this Tieshan Temple, we have to say a person.

That is the strict Buddha tune.

This person, whose name is not small, is the first monk of the Han nationality.

It was he who valued the treasure land in front of him and built the original Iron Mountain Temple here.

Then through various dynasties, Tieshan Temple also underwent round after round of expansion, until the era of Wanli of the Ming Dynasty, reaching its most prosperous time.

At that time, it formed a group of 14 temples centered on Tieshan Temple, including Wangu Temple, Qingliang Temple, Longshan Temple and so on, and was known as the ‘Little Jiuhua’ in the entire northern Jiangsu and eastern Anhui regions.

It’s small, but it’s not small at all.

You must know that Jiuhua Mountain is one of the four major Buddha mountains, and with a temple with a layer of groups, it can be called Little Jiuhua, which shows that the incense here was flourishing at that time.

It has reached the point of cooking oil on fire.

As for the treasures of ancient temples, it can be said that they have been widely spread since the establishment of Tieshan Temple.

It’s just that the terrain around Tieshan Temple is too complicated, and for people at that time, it was impossible to hunt for treasure like a headless fly.

Even in this era, it is exactly the same, after all, this place has been designated as a national forest park, but it is not an existence that ordinary people can break ground.

Therefore, this treasure has been sleeping all this time, and it has not been possible to find out his specific location.

However, when it comes to the treasures of this ancient temple, it has to be said that the founder of Tieshan Temple is Yan Buddha.

This person is not an ordinary person, and it can even be said that he exists beyond ordinary people.

He was born in 117 AD in Linhuai, Hui Province.

At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Buddhism had already been introduced to China, and it was most popular in the Linhuai generation.

It can be said that Yan Buddha Tuan was deeply infected by Buddhism from childhood to adulthood, and even obeyed Buddhism since childhood.

In order to fulfill his ideal, he entered Luoyang when he was young.

At that time, Luoyang, as the first important town of Buddhism in the Eastern Han Dynasty, was the only place for translating scriptures in the Han Dynasty, and it could even be said to be the center of the spread of Buddhism in the Han Dynasty.

Yan Buddha, who was dedicated to serving the country, went to Luoyang to seek the Dharma, and even there are records of Yan Buddha in the history of Buddhism today.

It is said that he is ‘enlightened, sensitive and studious, faithful and natural, and then a monk!’ ’

In this way, Yan Buddha became the first monk of the Han Chinese ethnic group to become a monk, and he was also the first assistant in the Chinese scripture translation and the first Chinese monk to write.

Speaking of this, I have to say something else.

According to legend, when it was still the Ling Emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty, An Xuan, a Buddhist believer from Rest lived in Luoyang.

As for An Xuan, there is no relevant historical record today, but it is very likely that this person was a Shangren who came to Luoyang to do business, helped the Eastern Han government in trade or finance, and was thus made a riding lieutenant.

An Xuan lived in Huaxia for a long time, learned Chinese language, often discussed morality with monks, and then came up with the idea of translating scriptures.

It’s just that translating the scriptures is a very huge siege, and An Xuan clearly knows that it is impossible to complete it with the help of his own strength, so he looks everywhere to stop it.

At this time, Yan Buddha Tuo appeared in front of An Xuan’s eyes, he was not only proficient in Hu language, but also had a deep Buddhist practice, and became An Xuan’s best collaborator.

The two adopted the method of An Xuan’s dictation, and Yan Fo used pen records to translate.

Their joint translation of the Dharma Mirror Sutra has been highly regarded in Buddhist history.

Even surpassing the founder of Buddhist sutra translation, An Shigao.

That is, after the strict Buddhist tuning, many monks in India and the Western Regions who were not proficient in Chinese used this method to translate the scriptures, which can be said to have contributed to the spread of Buddhism in China.

In 182 AD, Yan Buddha returned to his hometown of Linhuai and decided to cultivate a dojo and concentrate on the study of Buddhism.

And this is how the origin of the Iron Mountain Temple came about.

It took fifteen years to build the entire Iron Mountain Temple.

After the successful cultivation of Tieshan Temple, Yan Buddha Tuo wanted his Kaishan Dojo to continue and be as firm as the iron rivers and mountains, so he named it ‘Tieshan Temple’. ’

As a generation of senior monks, Yan Buddha is highly respected and has a very good reputation among the monks, which is why there is a later thing.

That’s Zhang Jiao!

Before Zhang Jiao rebelled, he spread the Taiping Dao in private, and this person’s means were also extremely high, and he used means such as helping people to cure diseases, and won the hearts of countless people.

Although Yan Buddha and Zhang Jiao are not of the same sect, and the Buddha is different, they both admire each other’s talents and personalities.

Zhang Jiao even spared no effort to travel from the distant Jizhou Julu to Su Province to place strict Buddhist tunes.

The two really saw each other at first sight, tasting tea and playing games, talking about the past and the present, quite intrigued.

Yan Buddha devoted himself to the study of Buddhist scriptures, and at this time, Zhang Jiao was also not a mortal, and the number of Taiping Dao believers under his command even exceeded 100,000.

It was a great threat to the Eastern Han Dynasty.

Taiping Dao is a branch of Taoism, dedicated to the emperor and Laozi as the ancestors.

At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the most famous plague in Chinese history broke out, and hundreds of people fell ill and then died.

This great plague greatly weakened the national strength of the Eastern Han Dynasty, and the mediocre Emperor Han Ling still trusted eunuchs, intoxicated and drunk in the life of gold fans, and even openly sold officials and knights, and the officials knew to loot the people’s fat and people’s ointment, and the entire Eastern Han Dynasty fell into a dark abyss.

Zhang Jiao traveled with his two younger brothers, Zhang Bao and Zhang Liang, in this dark and chaotic era, to spread the idea of the ‘Taiping Dao’.

The darkness of society caused the people to turn to faith to seek liberation, and the peasant uprisings at that time were very ordinary, and the people armed against the rule of the Eastern Han Dynasty.

Zhangjiao’s uprising was also well planned.

He called himself ‘General Tiangong’, and the rebel army was wrapped in yellow scarves and launched a fierce attack on the rulers of the Eastern Han Dynasty, and because the uprising had been fully prepared in the early stage, it was extremely powerful.

In the end of the day, the world responded, and the Jingshi shook.

Wherever the Yellow Turban Army went, it punished officials, attacked landlords and tyrants, opened warehouses and released grain, and provided relief to the victims, and the whole country responded quickly, and the rebel army swept through the vast area north of the Yangtze River.

During this period, the rebels collected a lot of treasures as funds for the rebels.

The Eastern Han Ling Emperor Jin Ye finished his clothes and ordered the prefectures and counties to recruit their own men and horses to deal with the Yellow Turban Army.

In this way, the clan nobles, prefecture and county magistrates, and landlords in various places rose up one after another to assist the Eastern Han court in besieging the Yellow Turban Army, and took the opportunity to seize territory and expand their power.

In this way, the entire Eastern Han Dynasty fell into a state of fragmentation.

It was because of the addition of these landlords that the Yellow Turban Army was divided by armed forces in various places, coupled with the Yellow Turban Army’s lack of combat experience, the rebel army began to lose.

However, the most important thing is that the general Zhang Jiao of the Tiangong unfortunately died of illness, and the main force of the Yellow Turban Army failed one after another after nine months of fierce fighting.

It is under this premise that there is a later treasure of the ancient temple.

It was precisely because of this that Zhang Jiao found a place to hide all the treasures looted during the uprising.

That is, the treasure of Iron Mountain Temple!
