When Randall returned to the Duke of Voltio’s house with the chocolates given to him by the king, a boy was just leaving through the front door.

The boy was wearing a dirty shirt and trousers, and was instantly recognizable as a commoner. He was probably in his mid-teens. He was a slender boy with short black hair.

As Randall wondered what on earth he was doing there, he spotted Randall, bowed his head deeply, and strode off.

“Who was that?”

As soon as he entered the front door, he asked the butler Johannes. He was told the boy seemed to be an acquaintance of Sophia.

“An acquaintance of Sophia’s?

Does he know Sofia?

Yes Yes, he visited suddenly, but he and the Mistress seemed to get along very well. Oh, yes, I didn’t leave the two alone together, so it’s okay

Johannes smiled slightly, as if teasing him, which made Randall feel annoyed.

“I haven’t asked that. You don’t have to say anything extra.” Randall said, annoyed.

“I am sorry Master”

“So, where’s Sophia?”

“I believe she is in her room with Master Orion”.

“She’s……… with Orion?”

“Yes. Is there something wrong?”

You wouldn’t leave her alone with the boy I just met, but you would leave her alone with Orion?

“Yes?”

Johannes was puzzled, but Randall passed by him and went up the stairs silently.

‘What is it with these people!’

Randall felt the urge to kick the walls around there in frustration for no apparent reason.

When he entered Sophia’s room, she was face to face with Orion with a difficult expression on her face.

Sophia looked up in surprise as Randall entered the room and stood up.

“Welcome back.”

She must have been very surprised that Randall had returned. She gave a small tilt of her head. Randall didn’t know what she was thinking, but he was annoyed.

‘This is my house, Is it so unusual for me to come home?’

Randall thought selfishly, putting aside the fact that he usually sleeps at the castle and never comes back to the mansion.

Randall silently held out a box of chocolates.

“It’s from His Majesty, he also told me to tell you to come visit him at the castle once in a while”.

“From my  father?”

Sophia took the box and then smiled happily. Sophia’s smile made Randall’s heart skip a beat. She doesn’t smile much in front of Randall. When Sophia, who has a gorgeous face, smiles, his eyes are drawn to her as if a large rose had opened.

Sophia’s smile nearly lifts Randall’s frayed emotions, but when she looks back at Orion with a smile, his mood plummeted.

Orion! Chocolate! Isolte, can I have some tea? Isolte, eat with us!”

Also “Orion.” Orion had been Sophia’s bodyguard since she had been living in the castle, but these two were too close, weren’t they? Randall thought quietly.

Sophia sat down on the sofa and began to open a box of chocolates, and Randall silently sat down directly across her. Sophia looked up at him curiously.

“Randall, do you want to eat chocolate too?”

I don’t need …… any.”

“Then what are you still doing here?”

“Is there a problem if I’m here?”

“What?……No, not at all. ……”

Sophia twisted her head several times and asked Isolte for a cup of tea for Randall.

Randall was angry at Orion, who grinned as he checked the contents of the chocolate box from behind Sophia

“Orion, is there something you want to say to me?”

‘No, nothing at all! Oh, Sophia, I want that chocolate with almonds on it”.

“This one…..is that Okay.”

Sophia picked up a piece of chocolate from the box and offered it to Orion. Then Orion opened his mouth and Sophia threw the chocolate into it.

Randall raised up one eyebrow.

What did Sophia do now? Did she Just feed Orion the chocolate?

Randall’s annoyance grew worse.

Orion was happy and demanded a second chocolate from Sophia. He naturally ate it from Sophia’s hand.

A pitter-patter sounded in the veins of Randall’s brain.

“What are you doing!”

Sophia widened her eyes as Randall shouted.

“What?”

“What’s wrong? You’ve got to be kidding me! Feeding Orion  chocolates in front of me?”

“Oh, ……, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to be rude”.

“That’s not it!”

Sophia didn’t understand what Randall was trying to say.

Sophia is Randall’s wife,  and she should never feed another “man” chocolates in front of her husband. It is one thing to be sneaking around with Orion, but to be so openly fraternizing with another man, what is she thinking?

“You’re my wife, aren’t you?”

“Yes, well, I am……..”

The face of Sophia, who had been looking at him with a puzzled look, became more and more quizzical.

Randall screamed, wondering if she still didn’t understand.

“I’m not sure what to say…..Oh my God,….! this is too funny……..!”

Suddenly Orion burst out laughing, and Randall’s angrily turned to him.

“What’s so funny?”

“What’s …… funny?”

With a squeaky laugh, Orion untied his hair and sat down next to Sophia.

“Master, I’m a woman, you know?”

“What?”

“Oh, didn’t you tell Randall? Orion is a woman”.

What?

Randall instinctively looked back at Isolte. Then she nodded, “Orion-sama is a woman,” she knew she too.

“……….”

Randall was silent, then he stood up and left the room silently.

After leaving the room, he remembered that he had forgotten to ask about the dark-haired boy he had seen earlier, but he had no energy left to visit Sophia again.
