The Villainess’ Beloved Plan: The Struggles to Avoid a Doomed End

Accompanied by Cedric, Sophia was proceeding down the port side gangway towards the stern of the ship. Although the sea surface was calm, with not many waves, the sound of the waves hitting the hull of the ship was echoing as the ship was moving forward.

The third level of the ship meant that the spray from the waves did not reach her, but as they proceeded towards the stern, there were fewer people, and Sophia began to feel uneasy.

The ship’s railings are high enough to reach Sofia’s chest, but what would happen if she accidentally fell overboard? The dark sea stirs such fears.

“Mr Cedric. Are you sure Randall is over here?”

Why did Randall go to the stern? There are no outstanding entertainment facilities on the stern as far as I can think of. I think there was a small casino on the stern on the second floor, but I don’t think Randall will go to the casino, and this is the third floor.

Cedric nodded with a smile, “Yes.”

Cedric is a reliable service staff member. I don’t think he would lie. Randall must have had an idea and called Sophia to the unpopular stern.

‘No way, he would never confess ……. A sermon then? He can do that sort of thing in our room, and I don’t think I’ve done anything today that would make him angry:

Why did Randall head stern in the first place? If he wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the dance party, he could just go back to the area where the Royal Suite is located. It’s very quiet and cosy there because it’s not easy to get in there, except for those staying in the Royal Suite.

Then is it the casino on the second floor? Even with that Randall, you might want to ruffle some feathers. If it’s a casino, Sophia wanted to go in at least once, and if she could, she’d like to try at least one thing.

‘If she won the jackpot, she’d be a millionaire – but the Duke of Voltio are already rich, so money is not a problem. Even if I had a lot of money, I couldn’t think of anything to spend it on.’

‘When I hear the word luxury, the only thing I can think of is eating as many sweets as I want. I don’t think I could spend it all, even if there was a mountain of gold coins in front of me. Sophia was totally ready to go to the casino, even though Randall was not necessarily in the casino.’

When Sophia reached the stern of the ship, she looked around. No one was there.

“Mr Cedric, is Randall–”

Is he in the casino on the second floor? She was about to ask him.

Cedric, who had been smiling at her, suddenly grabbed her. Sophia screamed in surprise and quickly covered her head, but Cedric’s aim was not to hit her.

When Cedric grabbed her around the waist and held her up, Sophia turned blue at the thought of a possibility.

In front of her, a sea of complete darkness–.

She looked up at Cedric’s face, which was hideous and cruel– ‘Why?’

“Sophia…!”

Amidst Sophia’s screams as she was thrown into the air, Sophia thought she heard Randall’s voice calling her name, for sure.
