The Villain's Bodyguard

Inside of a dimly lit hallway, one could see a girl stealthily running. She would look around every corner before ducking down and taking cover again. Each movement was done with precision and care as to prevent a single sound from leaking out.

This person was of course Ru Gu Meng as she traveled back to her room from the royal library. Her body felt dead tired however, that feeling gave her more motivation to not relax before she made it to her room.

After all, at this moment when she was feeling extremely weak wouldn't Feng Qi just beat her bloody as revenge?!

For three years she has watching fondly over his amazingly violent and ruthless ways while always supporting him. Even when he massacred a bunch of the protagonist's friends throwing the entire world into an outrage, she just complimented his abilities to piss people off!

But, Now that she was no longer behind the safety of a screen, she found herself wishing that he was a bit softer. In the book at twelve years old, he had already committed murder around 20 times and she didn't intend to make it 21 anytime soon.

Rushing around another corner, Meng breathed out in relief when she finally saw her room. This was definitely the first time that she was happy to see this place.

Quietly, Meng opened the door and closed it before letting the tension out of her body and leaning against the closed door . Her eyes were closed as she smiled to herself. It's been this long and Feng Qi still hasn't made a move? Maybe he wouldn't get revenge on her afterall and decided to just accept the situation.

Her eyes opened up full of light however turned dark when she saw that state of her room. It was a complete massacre.

Across the entire floor there were heads and ripped up bodies with their insides covering everything.

Meng didn't know if to laugh or cry when she saw such a 'horrific' scene in her room. 'If Feng Qi was already this creative he will surely live up to her expectations in the book.'

Too tired to care, Meng ignored the mess and dragged herself to her bed and was about to collapse....

"Your Highness Meng!" Su Lou's shouted when she saw that the girl finally came back. She was originally watching from the side to see how distorted Meng's expression would look when she saw the state of her beloved dolls. However, against all expectations, Meng barely glanced at them before moving on.

Some of them were even personally created by the most highly distinguished artists in the Sun Kingdom! Su Lou wanted to rip out her hair when she saw how nonchalant the girl acted about her once favorite toys. She had assured Feng Qi that this would work in hurting Meng and he even promised her a level 1 Martial Dan pill if Meng started to cry!

One had to know that a level 1 Martial Dan pill could give someone at her level 2 martial rank enough support to nearly reach level 3!

Yet, the dumb brat in front of her only walked by and ignored them! Su Lou glared at the girl for ruining her chance to get a dan pill, making her face as honest as a saint while her eyes were as venomous as a snake.

"H..how could you just turn your back on such a situation!? Someone is clearly disrespecting you by destroying all of your dolls aren't you allowing yourself to be walked over by ignoring it. You have to know that these dolls costed one million gold coins and took the emperor years to collect!"

Meng stared tiredly at the angry girl who at this point had her cheeks puffed out in anger.
