Chapter 91 - Huo YanXiao v. Qin ZiMing (3)

The next day, Huo YanXiao went over to the Qin’s after work. 

Qin ZiMing had been gone on a business trip around City T the last few days and just got home today. 

He was in a rush. With his still mask on, he seemed to only be back to grab something from the house and was on his way out. 

Mrs. Qin was unhappy because Huo YanXiao was there. Seeing her son now, she seemed to have found something that she could lean on. She quickly walked over to him and said, “ZiMing, you are back? Mrs. Wang happened to make your favorite dish…”

Qin ZiMing greeted Qin Hai quickly before he turned to his mother and said, “No, I am not staying for dinner. I need to be somewhere.”

Having said that, he walked straight up to the second floor. 

Qin ZiMing walked out five minutes later, still with his mask on. 

He nodded at everyone and quickly walked out of the door.

He couldn’t let anyone see. He couldn’t even go into the office. He could only grab some important documents from the house and work from a hotel for a few days. 

He had just got to the metal gate outside of the mansion before he heard footsteps behind him. 

Qin ZiMing turned and saw Huo YanXiao standing on the path in the grassy area, looking at him with interest.

Qin ZiMing didn’t want to engage with him and was about to continue heading out. 

“So you don’t dare take off your mask?” said Huo YanXiao as he walked toward Qin ZiMing. 

There was fire in Qin ZiMing’s eyes. How did Huo YanXiao find out what happened last night?

After all, Nie AnAn couldn’t use her cellphone. She couldn’t have told Huo YanXiao. 

And Huo YanXiao wasn’t upset at the pictures that he saw?

“Is your face okay?” said Huo YanXiao as he raised his eyebrows. “I know a pretty good plastic surgeon.”

By now, Qin ZiMing had figured out that Huo YanXiao was purposefully waiting for him there. 

The entire time, Huo YanXiao had only met with Qin Hai at tea houses outside or the office of the Qin’s. He had never come over to have dinner over at the main Qin’s residence.

Today, Huo YanXiao was waiting for him there because he figured he’d had to go back to the Qin’s residence. 

Even the document was a setup from Huo YanXiao!

After Qin ZiMing had gotten off the plane today, his plan was to head over to the hotel right away. Except that the company that they have been working with said there’s a document that must be taken care of by tomorrow and they would like to have it back first thing in the morning. 

So he had no choice but to go and get it from the main house with his injuries!

Qin ZiMing had it figured out. Nie AnAn never sent a message to Huo YanXiao. Huo YanXiao had only done all those things just to test the water and that was that. 

He suddenly felt that all the injuries on his face and body were stirring. His anger made all his blood rushed to his head and his temples were throbbing violently. 

“Anything you want to do, you aim them at me,” said Huo YanXiao while enunciating every single word. “Do not go after her. Otherwise, I don’t mind taking over all of your stocks.”

Having said that, he turned and walked away.
