"So... what's your decision?"

Everyone was deeply shocked by all that Ling Tian had said.

That whole explanation was beyond what they could have imagined.

Ling Tian knew that it might even take a long time for them to absorb it, so he didn't rush them.

"Obviously you will not have any fame, status or anything like that since you will be starting over. There will be no great Tang family or great Zhang family, not even the title of Lord of the City...

If you can become very strong then you can have some title or have a powerful enough backing to be able to live peacefully."

Ling Tian knew that there were great families in the Immortal World. Even those families had created powerful sects and famous palaces.

"I really wouldn't mind starting over, as long as the family is united." Tang Zhi answered sincerely what she felt: "I have never cared about having a great status or anything like that, but what I care about is family unity and the welfare of everyone."

Everyone nodded soon after. If the family is united, then there wouldn't be much of a problem.

"And if some went with you into that world and became strong for several years, couldn't you come back here again so that when the rest of us go, we won't have a problem?" Long Cheng spoke after thinking it over. He as Lord of the City would have no problem if he left his position and went to a more wonderful place.

"Right, you could come back to this place again, couldn't you?" Zhang Chao asked curiously.

Ling Tian shook his head as he slowly explained, "By a coincidence of fate, I fell into this world, so I don't know if I can come back again."

Everyone listened carefully to Ling Tian.

"Besides, it may be that the Laws of Time and Space here could be different in the other world. If we spent a year here, at least 100 years could have passed in my world, or even the other way around. Therefore, if I go with some people there and we cultivate for an average of 10-20 years, in this world it could have been more than a thousand years. One of them is kind of 'funny' in a good way, but he is like a blood brother to me, so we became sworn brothers, and the other person, although she is also kind of playful, is a very good friend who also became my sworn sister."

When Ling Tian said the latter, he felt some sharp looks, especially at Zhang Xinya. He just shook his head pretending not to notice.

"Brother, I know you mentioned that you were taking care of some small children, but..." Mu Shen hesitated to ask about anything when he remembered the first time he spoke to Ling Tian: "Isn't your family with you supporting you?" He found it strange to think that Ling Tian was all alone in such a dangerous world with only those little children and the dangerous Immortals around.

Long Yuyin and Zhang Xinya also paid attention directly.

Ling Tian's personality and character showed everyone that he was an independent young man, as if he were a full grown man who had gone through the ups and downs of life and had matured completely, being completely different from those immature, arrogant, and crazy young people one could find almost anywhere. Yun Mengxin looked worriedly at Ling Tian. She knew Ling Tian's past life, as well as what happened to his family.

Ling Tian expressed with his eyes that she should not worry.

Then, Ling Tian looked at Mu Shen for several seconds before looking up at the sky recalling what had happened thousands of years ago and said

"My whole family was killed precisely by a cultivator when I was only about 12 years old..."
