Ling Tian watched the two people as his blade easily repelled the demon beast behind him. Although his cultivation is one stage less than the demon beast, he is, after all, a powerful immortal. His immortal essence is not something that a mere demon beast of the Foundation Establishment can face.

"Cof, Cof..." Ling Tian coughed about twice to get those two out of their daze.

"Huh?"

"Ah! E-excuse us sir, f-forgive us, w-we were a bit shocked... Where are my manners?, my name is Long Cheng and this is my daughter Long Yuyin, what did your eminence want to ask?" Clumsily Long Cheng greeted this person with respectful tone. He knew that this young man's power was beyond his Legend rank, so he would obviously be respectful to him.

Long Yuyin nodded as she bowed to greet as a bright light passed in her beautiful eyes.

"Okay, don't worry..." Ling Tian solemnly nodded as he continued to speak: "I want to know the name of this place, or the name of the continent. Is there a city near here?"

Long Cheng was stunned for a few seconds before responding: "Mmm, we know that by our ancestors this continent was called the Divine Star, and part of that name was used to call our home the Star City. We are the only human settlement that exists on this continent, we have never seen any human beyond the mountains. There are only the demonic creatures that we have faced since we became conscious, wanting to raze our city to the ground. This is the first strongest demon beast we've ever faced. I almost forgot, thank you for defeating that demon beast, I am the Lord of the City and I fear that if that creature were to reach the city it would cause a great tragedy." Long Cheng bowed in gratitude, even his daughter Long Yuyin bowed in gratitude to Ling Tian as well.

"Hmm, fine..." Ling Tian nodded softly as he wondered: 'Divine Star Continent? I have not heard of this place anywhere, perhaps it is a small world on a much lower plane... Only human settlement? Confrontation of demonic beasts? Mmm, judging by what the lord of the city said, they haven't faced a demonic beast that was on the stage of the Foundation Establishment...'

Ling Tian stopped thinking. He wanted to investigate the place and see if he could find a way off this plane.

"What is today's date? Month or day?" Ling Tian asked, hoping that the date would have some reference to the immortal world or at least to the world of cultivation.

"It is the 9th day of the seventh month in the year 1520 of the Bright Wind era..." Long Cheng replied as he thought: 'He's not really from around here, could it be that there are human settlements beyond the mountains that we don't know about?'

Ling Tian wrote it down in his mind. Apparently this little world had its own history.

Suddenly, Ling Tian began to notice that his body felt slightly heavy.

"Where is that Star City? I am lost, since I am not from this place, so I would like to know where the city is. Once I'm done I could go and take a break..." Ling Tian decided to ask for the location of the city. After taking a look around, he would go to the Star City to look for more information about this continent.

"Let me take you to the City, it's the least I can do to thank you for saving my daughter's life and mine, as well as eliminate a potential danger to the Star City. I must reward you somehow!" Long Cheng spoke gratefully of being able to return home alive with his precious daughter.

Even Long Yuyin nodded in response, as she hoped to relate to him.

"Don't worry, I didn't expect anything in return for saving you. Just tell me the direction to the city, after looking around, I'll come." Ling Tian planned to look around first to see the continent.

Long Cheng wanted to escort Ling Tian back to the Star City. He wanted to talk about the wonders of the city and the dangers that always existed because of the demon beasts, hoping to somehow convince Ling Tian to stay in the city and become a protector. With his power, any threat would be easily eradicated. It would even give him the same status and respect at the level of the Lord of the City.

But what he didn't count on was that Ling Tian only asked him for the address of the city. Apparently he wasn't planning on traveling with them.

Long Cheng wanted to convince Ling Tian to go with them, but seeing Ling Tian's indifferent look, he knew it would be useless to persuade, so he raised his arm and pointed in the direction of a place: "The Star City is in that direction sir, it will take almost 2 days to get from this place."

"When you arrive in town, ask for the address of the Mansion of the Lord of the City. That's where I live. Better yet, I'll leave someone to wait for you and ask for me, he'll guide you there. You will be greatly appreciated. I will arrange for the best residence for your rest and fulfill any requirements you may have!" Long Cheng immediately added the arrangements he would make to thank Ling Tian.

Ling Tian liked this somewhat shy young woman, reminding him of his two female disciples.

"Ling Tian." He responded with a pleasant smile before turning around and standing on his immortal sword as it slowly flew into the sky and disappeared into the horizon, leaving the two people in the place stupefied.
