The Way of The Dao

Ling Tian felt something being created in his body, like some kind of mysterious object or artifact and that it was attracting all kinds of energies.

His Dantian trembled fiercely, his Consciousness Sea shook and his power went wildly on rampage. The energy around him gathered much faster and filled every corner of his body.

Then, a more powerful force formed in the heaven and headed towards Ling Tian.

The force bombarded Ling Tian fiercely and the giant Heavenly Sword in the sky seemed to disappear at any moment as this force attacked Ling Tian.

Ling Tian gritted his teeth as he finally felt the true force of Heaven's Will, wanting to restrain everything on him!

The shackle layer soon began to affect his soul and, together with the fierce and horrible Primordial Chaos Force, destroyed every cell and blood of Ling Tian.

The Heavenly Sword became fuzzier and its strength was reduced, but it still kept advancing against the formation and wanting to destroy it.

Ling Tian's aura was greatly reduced and his strength dropped by several levels; countless shackles that could be seen with the naked eye and were made of Heaven and Earth imprisoned at Ling Tian, pushing him down as his power dropped further and further.

"Looks like this world doesn't tolerate your existence! Hahaha!" Mo Leng noticed this and saw hope in being able to kill Ling Tian.

What seemed like a hurricane, like a huge torrent of spiritual energy, was gathering in Ling Tian's body, which was progressively suppressing him.

"Once we succeed in killing you, we will obtain your legacy and the sacred items of legend that helped you reach the Supremacy!" Mo Ling shouted excitedly as he finished executing the most powerful technique together with his brother.

Again, a strange circle like the previous one formed, but this time, it seemed to contain more trace of world principles and a hint of mysterious strength.

The pair of lights followed each other, as if they were fish swimming and forming the circle without interruption. The world force seemed to be attracted to these lights and strengthened it.

"If we were fighting in our peaks, we wouldn't even have the guts to do it! But now that you're being suppressed by the Heavenly Law, you won't be able to show your true strength and we'll have more opportunities to kill you!" Mo Leng roared as if he was about to get what he wanted the most as they looked with killing intent at Ling Tian.

Everyone could clearly tell that Ling Tian was being suppressed by the Laws of this lower plane, therefore, he would not be able to show his true strength. It was as if the Heavenly Law seemed to only attack Ling Tian and wanted to suppress him completely.

Moreover, the formation they had made could be used as for attacking and defending, so they had practically won!

"Hmph! You're looking at yourself too high!" Ling Tian snorted coldly as he looked at the technique both brothers had done. His body and strength were under unimaginable suppression, but he still didn't give up.

It would take more than Heaven's Will to break him...

The next moment, the world seemed to subvert as they felt that heaven was earth and earth was heaven. The world of clouds and blue landscape was beneath their feet, while mountains, rivers and land met their heads.

The luminous spheres moved and fiercely struck Ling Tian, knocking him back as he spat out more blood.

Ling Tian could no longer feel his body, let alone feel pain, with the layer of shackles trying to suppress everything.

All of Ling Tian's fury finally exploded and a chill filled the world as a breath flowed out of him.

Ling Tian's jet black eyes changed and glowed a golden color, exuding a majesty and power as the strength in his body exploded into several layers!

A shadow flew into the sky and dispersed before gathering again and covering the entire world.

Yun Mengxin felt a resonance in her soul on another level! With her soul filled with unimaginable joy and love!

This was a unique and long longed-for feeling that seemed to awaken and reach her again!

The shadow seemed to sweep away the clouds, as if they were a hindrance as it grew larger and larger.

Ling Tian felt like he could finally breathe easier as the suppressive force in his being subsided by a large amount. A flood of emotions, memories, knowledge, strength and more combined with him and made his soul grow to another level.

His understanding increased in every aspect and Ling Tian seemed to see the world opening up in another layer for him, as if he could control every part at will and be in control. His hand lightly grasped the space around him and faded away like dust before recreating itself and looking like a mirror that was reconstructed without losing even the smallest crystal, leaving it as good as new.

The True Heavenly Sword seemed to gain more strength as it once again became stronger and more solid, starting to create a few small cracks in the barrier of the formation.

Mo Leng and Mo Ling knew that this was the end and they had to give it their all as well. Ling Tian seemed to be at the end of the arrow with that unexplainable power he gained, probably from forcing his cultivation base into a huge power surge.

The others in the formation felt the breath of death and didn't spare any strength to want to survive. Every trace of Immortal Essence and Spiritual Energy poured completely over the formation, fueling it to the point of burning their own blood essences and immortal essences.

Their faces and bodies paled at the loss of blood and energy, consuming vast amounts of years of life to gain more power.

A bolt of lightning came from the sky and struck the formation, but unfortunately did little damage.

It was as if the Heavenly Law of this lower plane was not strong enough to break through these high-level defenses.

Another lightning bolt shot towards Ling Tian. But Ling Tian snorted coldly and the lightning scattered.

The sea of clouds stopped, the wind currents stopped, the lightning stopped, the rivers stopped, the cracks in the earth stopped... everything stopped...

Only breathing could be heard at this moment, as if time had stopped.

"However, there are other forces more powerful than these energies..."

Ling Tian finally began to use all his might and energy that he could, slightly recalling that feeling again in the face of true battles and especially when he could control the true World Principles of the entire Immortal realm at will.

The cycle of day and night moved faster to the point where the seasons of the year became discernible.

Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter!

The warm breeze of spring, the unbearable heat of summer, the fall and transition of autumn, the freezing cold blizzard of winter!

All the seasons were experienced in a lifetime!

Everyone's minds saw the scene happening, but they were not so quick to process them, as if a thin layer was before their eyes and prevented them from seeing deeply.

Mo Leng and Mo Ling were lost in feeling as they watched this scene. Their minds seemed to reach a new level of comprehension as they understood what the true state of Supremacy really meant.

They now understood that they were like frogs in the well. Even their Master would not be able to be able to do this at his peak, let alone in the state Ling Tian was in.

Ling Tian looked at the almost impenetrable formation and barrier protecting the Mo brothers and so on. This barrier made of water and combined with the strange cauldron would be very difficult to break through, even using the True Heavenly Sword.
