The Way of The Dao

After a few seconds, the group reappeared thousands of miles away from Star City, in a place with abundant vegetation and flora; a huge tree stood out in the middle of the place.

Except for the women and Ling Tian's disciples, the others felt dizzy and some felt like vomiting.

"Take some time and try to get used to that feeling because you will experience it a few more times." Ling Tian looked at everyone's condition and said. At once, he looked at the place and smiled slightly as he saw the huge change.

"Isn't this the place where that little old tree used to be?" Shan Qingwu instantly recognized the place, looking in awe at the huge change that had occurred.

Flowers were growing beautifully all over the place, plants and herbs were spreading on the once infertile soil while numerous healthy leafy trees could be seen in the surroundings.

What mostly stood out, yet, was the huge, leafy tree that stood tall in the middle of the entire landscape.

"That's right, Qingwu." Ling Tian nodded at Shan Qingwu's question and added, "This place benefited from the energy and vegetation grew in abundance."

"Will this place help us get out of the world?" Hao Zhentian and the others looked carefully at every detail of the place in search of something that was important. Then he asked again, "By the way, Master, how exactly will we get out of this world, do you have any method?"

Everyone could not help but wonder what method Ling Tian would use to get out of this world. They weren't even sure that they could get out by themselves, so they were curious about what Ling Tian would do.

Ling Tian lowered Lan Yin and Qing Sha from between his arms and walked calmly towards the big tree. As he walked, he said with a smirk, "I will tear space." The little white fox followed over his shoulder.

Tearing the space?!

These words shocked Hao Zhentian and the others. What did this mean, could Ling Tian really "tear" space? Could it be that easy?

Although they were aware that they could tear space if they used all their power because this was a small world, the only thing that would result would be that they would create those space cracks and might even die! And if that wasn't enough, they could be sucked into the horrible dimension of the void and be torn apart by terrible energies!

Hao Zhentian and the others had thought that they would be teleported to the other world in some mysterious way, so they were stunned to learn about this.

"So we' ll enter the void?" Ying Chen frowned. Although everyone had once entered the void for a few seconds, they were still somewhat reluctant and scared despite having a high cultivation.

Even Immortals would undoubtedly die if they fell into the void dimension!

"Is that void dimension so horrible?" Xuanyuan Ling asked the question that most had in mind. She didn't know much about this dimension.

Ying Cheng helplessly smiled and said, "I can tell you that anyone would rather face divine tribulation than enter the void dimension... that place is another dimension of space, a null space with no real substance where you can get lost forever or be destroyed by destructive forces..."

"Will we be all right?" Tang Zhi asked at once, beginning to feel somewhat afraid.

"Don't worry." Yun Mengxin noticed the sudden change in expression from all of them and said, "He knows how to travel and move in the void and avoid those destructive energies." Ling Tian was already experienced in this.

This soothed the tense hearts of the others, just as it astonished the disciples for a moment before they sighed with bitterness and relief at the same time, smiling defeatedly. It seems that this Master of theirs really was capable of anything, even traveling in the void as if nothing, the dimension that everyone would avoid without hesitation.

Ling Tian arrived in front of the huge tree in the middle and reached out his arm towards it, gently and calmly touching the strong and healthy tree trunk.

"You really benefited a lot, little fellow, uhm?" Ling Tian let out a gentle smile and immediately said, "Now we will leave this world, so I hope you won't worry and despair when you feel the turbulence in the space of this place." The little white fox purred and connected with the tree spirit, trying to convey Ling Tian's thoughts and feelings to reassure it.

As if unleashing a mysterious and wondrous magic, the branches of the tree shook, blowing dozens of leaves into the air and falling on Ling Tian. Soft gusts of wind swept through the whole place and conveyed a feeling of relief and joy to everyone there.

Ling Tian raised his eyebrows and smiled again as he felt the appreciation of the world spirit, "Well, I'll be going then. I don't know if we'll see each other again, unless I fall back to this lower plane, haha. Take care, friend." Ling Tian infused some of the energy of the Sacred Heavenly Scriptures into it so that it would grow faster and healthier.

The tree shook itself exuding a joyful feeling, as if bidding Ling Tian farewell in the same manner.

"Ready." Ling Tian returned and announced calmly.

"Is it arranged?" Yun Mengxin asked.

"Of course." Ling Tian smiled at her and extended his hand towards her. Yun Mengxin without hesitation took his hand.

"Everyone join back together again." Ling Tian looked at everyone once they gathered and covered them with the aura of the Sacred Heavenly Scriptures, "This time, we will enter the void dimension, so I need you to pay attention to everything I will tell you. Try not to move or get scared once we enter, as you might get lost in that place and I will not be able to find you if you move away. Just let yourselves be covered and carried by my energy until we enter the other world."

Several sounds of swallowing loudly could be heard.

Ling Tian turned to look at his disciples and said, "You most likely cannot comprehend anything, but it would be beneficial to you if you manage to grasp or feel even a sliver of the void. Then you can ask me if you have any doubts with this."

Hao Zhentian, Ying Chen, Shin Wei and Sun Xiang nodded seriously, putting aside the calm and mischievous demeanors they had. They always knew when to be really serious and when they could be calm and relaxed.

Ling Tian still frowned slightly and immediately reinforced the aura covering everyone by using a little more of the Sacred Heavenly Scriptures' energy. Everyone felt as if a rope was tied around their waists, feeling a little more secure.

"Ready?" Ling Tian looked at Yun Mengxin and their thoughts connected perfectly.

Using some of Yun Mengxin's Spiritual Energy, Ling Tian put it together with the energy of the Sacred Heavenly Scriptures and directed it in front of the group.

Instantly, a small crack in the air formed and gradually spread out, leaving many astonished and stunned!

Hao Zhentian and the others looked stunned as they watched this technique of tearing space smoothly. Could space be broken so easily to enter the void?

The rift in space was widening lengthwise, surprisingly without disturbing the flow of the environment or letting out destructive forces. There was even the illusion that big hands opened this rift in front of them, widening it as if it were a slit and began to see the darkness and voidness on the other side.

Once the huge crack opened wide enough for everyone to enter, Ling Tian mobilized the Spatial Law and stepped into the void.

The spatial crack closed moments later, returning all of space to tranquility and finally leaving that world.

...

The space around was completely dark, like the very black darkness of night where they could see absolutely nothing... they couldn't even see the people next to them!

"Don't panic, I have all of you without problems." Ling Tian's voice was soon heard, relieving everyone's frightened, tense and nervous hearts a little.

"Is this the void?" Tang Wanying asked.

"I really can't see anything..." Shin Wei shook his head as did his martial brothers.

"Don't be disappointed, it's normal to see nothing." Ling Tian smirked and said, "I could barely see some lines and trajectories after being a few times in this place."

Although they strained to see and tried to catch something, none of them succeeded. They felt as if they were trying to grasp the air in front of them, something illogical and strange. The others tried to watch, while others closed their eyes, waiting for them to leave this place.

"Where are you?" Ling Tian looked in all directions, unlike the others, his spirit sense could completely visualize the whole place easily, being able to see the destructive currents of the void, as well as lines connecting spaces and planes of different dimensions and the lines of some nearby worlds spreading out like roots in a certain area. Even his naked-eye eyes were beginning to adapt and could see a little clearly a few meters away from him without the need to use his spirit sense.

His spirit sense reached out, seeking to sense a trace of the aura he had left in that other world. The token he left at the formation of that sect would help him find his way to that world.

After moving smoothly for a small amount of time and avoiding any current flow from the void, his spirit sense picked up a faint trace of his own energy!

"I found it!" Ling Tian smiled happily, making everyone rejoice at being able to leave this place soon.

The world wasn't that far away from the Divine Star Continent world, so it wouldn't be long before he found it.

"Huh?"

"What's the matter?"

However, Ling Tian stopped and Yun Mengxin asked as she sensed his confusion.

The root essence of the world where the formation was located was in front of them, but Ling Tian stopped and did not move forward. His gaze shifted to the other side, falling on another root that was not so far away.

It was his intuition that stopped him and made his heart race as he mixed various emotions; his breathing began to agitate.

The women sensed his change as they were near him and looked at him with worry, but dared not say anything for fear of distracting or disturbing him.

Without hesitating for a second, Ling Tian moved toward that other line and grasped it with his spirit sense carefully.

"You're going to feel more dizziness and nausea in the movement, so try not to resist!" Ling Tian's voice spread quickly, causing everyone to brace themselves.

His spirit sense merged with this root and pulled everyone with him as he entered the entrance space, entering this small unknown world.

As Ling Tian's sight quickly recovered upon entering this world, a huge city appeared below them!

Huge skyscrapers towered imposingly, dozens of buildings made of glass were built in an orderly fashion giving a peculiar environment to the city. Strange small and big transports moved among the multiple asphalts and streets of the place; hundreds and thousands of houses of different sizes and colors were located outside the city, mainly in places where there was vegetation and more, creating a healthy environment.

Further away from this city, the sea reached and touched a part of the city, while on the other side there was a vast vegetation, a huge and beautiful forest in sight under the mountains. Near that forest, a small village-like place showed itself completely, with several houses of different sizes...

When Ling Tian saw this place, his heart raced and he felt short of breath, quickly drawing the attention of his wives as he saw that his face even expressed a definite feeling of disbelief, stupefaction and even nostalgia and longing.

Then, Ling Tian suddenly disappeared without saying a single word.

Sorry for the delay, but I've been under pressure about my last year of service and I'm applying for thousands of documents :( and I'm also moving for a year to another place to provide my services, almost on the other side of my same country D:

But I have like a few weeks off before I take the plane and leave xd. Most likely I'll only be able to upload chapters on the weekends, which I'll advance in my free time on my cellphone in between weekdays to later put it all together and then publish it :3 possibly there will be a set schedule :o
