The Way of The Dao

In the middle of a forest filled with a wild Chi spirit while powerful animals roamed the area, a crack in space suddenly opened up, alarming all living things and destroying all the surroundings of the area as destructive forces appeared from the void.

The waterfall nearby also became a disaster and the flow of water was interrupted, splashing water everywhere.

Trees, plants, bushes and so on were quickly destroyed, creating a horrible environment in just a few seconds.

Three red-colored figures suddenly appeared!

A huge tiger that expelled a powerful aura roared fiercely at the sight of these figures invading its space!

However, a blade that pierced through the space split the tiger in two, killing it in an instant!

The other animals in the vicinity sensed the threat in that force that spread indiscriminately and, witnessing the death of the most powerful being in that place, they all chose to flee and hide.

"Haah!" Ling Tian breathed heavily once he touched the ground, his arms carrying both Shin Wei and Xuanyuan Ling.

They had finally come out of that void dimension!

Ling Tian quickly found a huge hidden cave a few meters in front of him, behind the waterfall that had returned to normal and, without hesitation, he entered the cave and gently set these two disciples of his down on the ground.

Both Xuanyuan Ling and Shin Wei were unconscious.

"Looks like it will take time for them to recover..." Ling Tian looked at the faces of both of them and noticed that they were completely pale, as well as obviously seeing the miserable state the two of them were in.

Ling Tian took out two blankets and covered the injured bodies of both of them; most of their clothes had been destroyed and had become mere rags. Ling Tian also cleaned their bodies quickly with a basic water element spell to remove the blood that had dried, before dressing them again and letting them finally rest.

Ling Tian also bathed and changed his robes.

Shin Wei did not react despite ingesting the drop of the Essence of Dawn and Life, but Ling Tian checked his body and sighed in relief; Shin Wei had expended almost all kinds of force to protect Xuanyuan Ling, so he was in a much worse state than Xuanyuan Ling and needed more time to recover.

But with the sacred medicine that is the Essence of Dawn and Life, Shin Wei would simply take a little longer to react.

His body was out of danger and he just needed to recover normally.
