The Way of The Dao

A frown appeared on his face along with beads of sweat that evaporated instantly, feeling a life and death alarm if he didn't have a solution to this. He knew that a small negligence could end his life the next moment.

Ling Tian gritted his teeth as he urged the power of the Sacred Heavenly Scriptures, fiercely severing the connection!

Unbeknownst to him, a mysterious force had enveloped Ling Tian's consciousness when he finally retreated!

Ling Tian gasped heavily as he fell to the ground, feeling like he had been in this state for an eternity as he reassured himself that he was now out of danger. His consciousness still did not relax in case there was still some strange danger.

A short time later, Ling Tian sat up as he steadied his breath; his gaze cautiously drifted towards the lake, realizing that the lake was completely calm and the two fish inside were casually swimming around without showing any strange or out of the ordinary signs.

The place even looked normal, as if nothing had happened...

Ling Tian looked at his body and saw that slowly the heat was disappearing; he was naked and his clothes had turned to ashes, remaining around him. His hair was completely long, without any sign of color change or reduction.

The flames in his organs had also disappeared, which meant that it was no illusion and that indeed this strange and mysterious event had happened...

"There is no doubt about it."

"I never thought I would find this here!"

Ling Tian's gaze shone as he looked at the small lake in front of him.

The mystery of Yin and Yang!

This kind of force and power is the very essence of the principle of Yin and Yang, opposing and unique yet indispensable forces for everything!

How would Ling Tian know about this? Because this kind of force is necessary in order to enter the realm of Supremacy!

Why is a Supreme so powerful, being an almost invincible existence? Because a Supreme has minimal knowledge and understanding about this kind of mysterious forces of the universe, far surpassing any immortal and becoming the masters of the realm by developing and increasing their strength in various folds!

He had also managed to grasp a glimpse of these legendary energies when he was in this realm!

Although Ling Tian mainly focused on the Space Principle when he ascended to the Supreme realm, he was aware of the existence of more Daos, likewise the mystery of Time and elements of creation. He had even managed to sense them slightly at one point!

Ling Tian had also fought against the Yin-Yang Supreme and understood part of its mystery when he used his abilities to fight! Although these did not have a true essence of this principle, they still had a small hint of understanding, allowing him to increase his fighting power!

In addition to the fact that in the last battle against the Mo brothers, disciples of the Yin-Yang Supreme, he also faced this kind of energy when they both released the energy left behind by their Master, Ling Tian gained a myriad of vague memories, sensations, knowledge and more seemingly from his past life when he broke the bonds in his soul, gaining mysterious insights of different and diverse natures, including about the mystery of Yin and Yang.

Even Ling Tian thought that in his past life he may have surpassed the realm of Supremacy and stepped into divinity...

His expression was fascinated and delighted, being amazed without being able to calm down. Ling Tian had encountered and known many things on his path to the top that could surprise even the most powerful immortals, so there were almost few things that could make him feel surprised or worried.

The mystery and principle of Yin and Yang were one of those few things!

Although Ling Tian did not know how something so amazing could be in this place, he did not care to think of more and decided to immerse himself in this wonder. If he could comprehend this mysterious force, his strength would increase by several folds and he would be more powerful once he reached the top again, unlike in the past.

Putting on new clothes, Ling Tian sat cross-legged in front of the lake. His breathing completely normal as he focused on being at his peak.

The two fish in the water were swimming calmly, as if they were really just fish in a calm lake. The water was also calm without any ripples on its surface. But Ling Tian knew that what was in front of him concealed the essence of Yin and Yang.

There would be various ways to be able to comprehend Yin and Yang, but Ling Tian never imagined that this kind of event could arise in this way.

The two fish in the water should be the materialized concept of Yin and Yang respectively! 

That is why when Ling Tian only focused his gaze completely on one of them, there was a total imbalance in both his mind and body, being unable to maintain a balance when he only focused on one. That's why he can't have too much of one and too little of the other, as either side has its respective consequences.

This time, Ling Tian slowly let go of his consciousness, trying to contemplate and focus on everything completely, especially the two fish that were separated.

* Boom! *

An explosion occurred in the water as it enveloped Ling Tian and the entire cave completely, trying to drown him. Ling Tian could look at the space where the lake was there was no water at all, as if it had switched places!

Where there was water now there was nothing, and where Ling Tian was and everything around him was completely submerged in water!

The two fish swam around Ling Tian as if nothing!

But this time, Ling Tian did not despair and tried to split his consciousness again, looking for the other fish to reverse the situation.

* Fwoosh! *

The water shook fiercely before filling the lake in front of him again, returning everything to normal.

Ling Tian gasped heavily again, flashing a bitter smile.

"If it were that easy, countless immortal cultivators would have ascended to the higher realms and many Supremes would exist..."

Ling Tian sighed, steadying his breathing as he cast a glance at the small lake in front of him.

It's not easy at all to be able to comprehend these kinds of mysterious energies and principles!

Even a Supreme would still find it difficult and risky when doing this...

Ling Tian rested for a few seconds before immersing himself in this kind of sensation again, this time, feeling the world upside down when he realized that the sky was the ground and the ground was the sky! The clouds flew quietly by his side before he changed his vision again, this time, returning to normal.

Yin-Yang is the balance of everything!

But Ling Tian did not give up or get discouraged, he knew that more than a choice there was an essential way to be able to understand this principle without the need to "split" his mind.

Ling Tian took one more deep breath before releasing his consciousness again, entering a different state once more.
